A good wearable vibrator gives you hands-free stimulation in bed or as you go about your day, and some can even be worn during sex to help you orgasm while keeping your hands free to be with your partner. Most are controlled through a remote, an app, or both – whether controlling it yourself or handing the reins to a nearby or long-distance partner.
The first thing to figure out is which type is right for you. For instance, do you want something easy to wear around like an egg vibrator or panty vibrator, something to free up your hands in bed, or are you looking for something to wear during sex? Do you prefer clit or G-spot stimulation? I’ve organized this guide by type – I’ll explain what each is best for as we go, but there’s also a guide to choosing between the types at the bottom of this page for more detail.
My partner and I have personally bought and tested 58 wearable vibrators, comparing them on power, rumbliness, app and remote control, comfort, noise, battery life, and more. Below are the ones I consider to be the best wearable vibrators in each price range or for a particular use.
Compare Wearable Vibrators
Panty Vibrators
Panty vibrators tuck into your underwear for hands-free clit stimulation. They’re best if you want something to wear around – either controlling it yourself or giving control to a nearby or long-distance partner. But they can also be used solo in bed simply for good clit stimulation while freeing up your hands for other things.
Since many people need clit stimulation to orgasm, a panty vibrator is often a better choice than an egg vibrator (below) which is designed for internal G-spot stimulation instead.
The best ones use a magnet to secure to your underwear, so you can position the toy where it feels best and keep it there. They also have a slight curve so more of the vibrating surface is against your body. While panty vibrators are not as intense as a handheld toy you can press exactly where you want, with the exact amount of pressure you want, my recommendations below combine enough power with a secure fit that I orgasm with them completely hands-free.
Also see all our recommendations for the best panty vibrators here.
Best Panty Vibrator Overall
The Lovense Ferri is the most well-rounded panty vibrator. It’s the strongest, reaching a top power of 9.35 out of 10, and its short, curved body transfers more of that power to my clit than any other – making it one of the few I can orgasm with hands-free, and the one I do most easily.
The curved shape also lets you add pressure hands-free – a unique and very helpful design feature: Shifting your weight against the curved base of the toy tilts the clit-end to press more firmly into you, the closest a wearable gets to the pressure control of a handheld. This is a big part of why I orgasm with the Ferri most easily.
Lovense’s app is the best of any brand I’ve tested, with excellent features and reliable connectivity whether you’re controlling it yourself, handing control to a nearby partner, or playing long-distance. The Lovense app is far better than the We-Vibe Moxie+’s (the Ferri’s main competitor) which is buggy and unreliable – no other panty vibrator’s app comes close to the Ferri’s. And its connection holds reliably, including through heavy body interference which can break the connection for other toys.
It also lasts the longest of any panty vibrator I’ve tested, running 168 minutes on its highest power in our test.
The Ferri fits very securely – its magnet is especially strong (you can see it holds through my hand). I can place the toy anywhere in my underwear, and it stays there. With heavy movement like running, squats, dancing, and jumping jacks the Ferri bounces around a little, but always snaps back to its original spot, never falls out, and stays in a stimulating place throughout.
Its vibrations are reasonably quiet when worn, but a couple of the other picks are especially quiet if that’s your bigger priority. The VeDO Niki and NS Novelties Techno Lucy are quieter without giving up much power. But the Niki is remote-controlled and the Techno Lucy’s app is far more basic than Lovense’s. Or for Lovense’s app control, their Lush 4 egg vibrator for G-spot stimulation is also very quiet.
If you want clit stimulation and prioritize power, versatility, and the best app control, the Ferri is my top recommendation.
Best Panty Vibrator Under $50
The NS Novelties Techno Lucy is the least expensive panty vibrator I recommend, and offers strong power and app control under $50.
It reaches a top power of 9 out of 10, barely less powerful than the Ferri, though a bit buzzier. And its broad, curved body and large magnet press that power firmly against your clit – it’s one of the few panty vibrators I can orgasm with hands-free, and only the Lovense Ferri (above) delivers more of its power to your clit. Even the much pricier We-Vibe Moxie+ can’t match its stimulation or fit.
Its vibrations are buzzy though, so for deep, rumbly stimulation on a budget, the VeDO Niki is better.
The Techno Lucy is also the most comfortable and most secure-fitting panty vibrator I’ve tested, at any price. The broad, plush clit-end spreads pressure evenly while the large magnet pins the toy in place, so it stays comfortable and on-target in bed and holds its spot through walking, dancing, and even running. And it’s one of the quietest of any wearable vibrator I’ve tested, despite having great strength.
The trade-offs are a very basic, spammy app and a short battery. The Love Spouse app essentially acts like a remote control – you just choose from three power levels and six preset patterns. No in-depth customization, but you can still connect with a long-distance partner. The connection is usually good, but can miss some commands under heavy body interference like happens when a partner controls your toy at an extreme angle. The app also has annoying ads, but they don’t block you from playing – you can just scroll past them.
The Lucy’s battery life (55 mins on high) is about a third of the Ferri’s. But for a strong, comfortable, secure panty vibrator with an app on a budget, nothing else I’ve tested comes close to the value.
Best Remote-Controlled Panty Vibrator
The VeDO Niki is budget-friendly and an excellent panty vibrator for those who value rumbly clit vibrations and a physical remote rather than an app. It’s our best remote controlled panty vibrator.
It’s the most rumbly panty vibrator I own – every other pick here, including the Lovense Ferri (above), turns buzzy on its higher settings. If you find buzzy vibrations tickly or numbing, the Niki gives you deep, rumbly stimulation throughout its entire power range, with some good strength behind it (8 out of 10 on high). While not as powerful as the Ferri, it has plenty of strength for me to orgasm hands-free.
Its broad, flexible, curved body is the other draw: rather than putting pressure in a focused spot, it blankets the whole area and stays in consistent contact with your clit, so the vibrations transfer where they should but are spread out very comfortably.
It’s comfortable to wear, quieter than the Ferri, with a remote that responds instantly and holds its connection even when your body blocks the line of sight between it and the toy. If you’re concerned about connection, the Niki is a more reliable budget choice than the NS Novelties Techno Lucy (above).
A physical remote is very easy to use and means you don’t have to look at a phone – you can often keep the remote in your pocket and operate it by feel. But it provides less feedback to help a partner understand what your toy’s doing, doesn’t give as detailed of control, and doesn’t allow long-distance play like an app.
The trade-offs for its budget price are no app and a short 55-minute battery. If these are important to you, the Ferri is the better pick: stronger, with the best app of any brand and about three times the battery. But for deep, rumbly, comfortable clit stimulation with a physical remote, the VeDO Niki is the best.
Egg Vibrators
Egg vibrators slip inside you for hands-free G-spot stimulation – whereas panty vibrators above are worn externally for clit stimulation. Like panty vibrators, egg vibrators are especially worth considering if you want something to wear around, whether you control the vibrations yourself or hand control to a nearby or long-distance partner. Egg vibrators’ bulbous internal shape fits especially securely, making eggs very easy to wear around. Though you can also use an egg solo in bed simply for strong, hands-free G-spot stimulation.
The best egg vibrators have a good combination of power and rumbliness – deeper vibrations are more important for internal toys since they travel through your body better to reach the G-spot. And the choice also comes down to your preference on control (remote or app) and girth. Larger eggs can apply more stimulating pressure, but are often less comfortable, while slimmer eggs are easier to wear for extended periods.

Best Egg Vibrator Overall
The Lovense Lush 4 is the egg vibrator I’d recommend if you want one that does everything well. It’s tied with the older Lush models as the strongest egg vibrator I’ve tested, reaching a top power of 10 out of 10, and its girthy, contoured bulb presses that power directly against my G-spot, so the stimulation feels especially full and intense. The vibrations have good rumbliness too, though if the deepest, most rumbly feel matters most to you, the VeDO Kiwi is more rumbly.
Lovense’s app is by far the best of any brand I’ve tested – it’s easy to use with simple control options or in-depth customization abilities, and has the most reliable connection whether playing nearby or with a long-distance partner.
The Lush connects with the app immediately and stays connected even through heavy body interference which often drops the connection for lower-quality toys. And the behavior works as expected unlike buggy apps like We-Vibe’s.
It stays securely in place with walking or heavier movement and lasted a long 120 minutes on its highest power in our test. And it’s very quiet passing all of our audibility testing despite its power – it’s a quieter wearable than the Lovense Ferri panty vibrator.
Whether you’ll find it comfortable depends on your size preferences. The form-fitting antenna is very comfortable, but the larger bulb creates more fullness and pressure than slimmer eggs – part of what makes it so stimulating, but less comfortable for long wear. If you’d prefer a slimmer fit, the Lovense Lush Mini is more comfortable and uses the same app but lasts only half as long.
Like every egg, the Lush 4 only stimulates internally. I can’t orgasm from G-spot vibrations alone, so I like to pair mine with a clit vibrator like the Lovense Ferri, which you can control together with the Lush in the same app. But for a powerful, secure, app-controlled egg vibrator, the Lush 4 is the best all-around.
Personal Favorite Egg Vibrator
The Lovense Lush Mini is my favorite egg vibrator, because I prefer the smaller girth. While the Lovense Lush 4 (above) has the best performance across-the-board (especially for those who like a fuller feel), the Lush Mini keeps the same strong G-spot stimulation and outstanding app with a slimmer body that I find more comfortable.
The Lush Mini’s 9.5 out of 10 strength is nearly as strong as the larger Lush 4 and has the same contoured shape to target the G-spot well. But its slimmer size relieves some of that fullness and pressure of the bigger Lush models – the kind that can feel restrictive when sitting or bending forward – so I can wear it longer.
It uses the same excellent Lovense app – the best of any brand I’ve tested – with detailed control, great connectivity and a fantastic long-distance experience. Sound levels and rumbliness are good too, though if the deepest vibes are important, the VeDO Kiwi (remote-controlled) is more rumbly.
The main trade-off is battery. It lasted 65 minutes on high in our test, roughly half the Lush 4’s 120. You can extend that by using the lower and middle settings too as you play, but it may be short if you want to wear around for an extended period.
But for a slim, comfortable egg that keeps the Lush line’s strong stimulation and the best app, the Mini is my favorite.
Best Egg Vibrator Under $75
The VeDO Kiwi is the best egg vibrator under $75. It’s great if you want the most rumbly G-spot stimulation and prefer a remote over an app.
For G-spot stimulation, rumbliness matters more than it does for the clit – lower-frequency vibrations travel deeper through the body to reach the nerve-rich areas around the G-spot. The Kiwi stays rumbly across its whole power range, even at the top, where pricier eggs like the Lush 4 and We-Vibe Jive 2 start to feel buzzy.
Because of its deep rumbliness, it still feels very impactful even while not being quite as strong as those two eggs. Though it still reaches a solid 8 out of 10 on top power compared to their 9 and 10.
Its slim, cylindrical shape spreads the vibrations out over a greater area instead of pressing into one spot the way the Lush and Jive 2’s contoured bulbs do. This doesn’t feel like it targets my G-spot as directly. But the rumble runs so deep that the vibrations still transfer well and feel impactful.
That slimmer shape is more comfortable, too. It doesn’t cause the same fullness and bladder pressure the wider Lush 4 and Jive 2 do, so I can wear it longer – the Lovense Lush Mini (above) is the only egg I find even comfier.
The VeDO Kiwi is very quiet, and the remote is simple but effective. It has separate buttons to increase and decrease the power and holds a stable connection through body interference. Its limitation is range. The Kiwi’s remote reached just 16 feet in our test – plenty for using it yourself or handing it to a partner in the same room, but not across the house. And there’s no app for long-distance play. The Jive 2’s remote has better range if that’s a priority.
But the Kiwi is great for those who prefer a remote, and want the most rumbly vibrations at a budget-friendly price. As a bonus, its wide bullet shape lets it double more easily than most eggs as an occasional handheld clit vibe.
Best Remote-Controlled Egg Vibrator
The We-Vibe Jive 2 is the best remote-controlled egg vibrator I’ve tested with strong, rumbly G-spot stimulation. It can also be controlled through the We-Vibe app, but the app is glitchy and unreliable, so the remote is the best control method.
The Jive 2’s remote is excellent. It has separate buttons for power and patterns – convenient so you don’t have to cycle through settings on a loop. The buttons are raised enough that I can use it without looking – something a remote does better than an app. In our test, we could separate the remote and toy 125 feet before they disconnected, longer than most wearable remotes and roughly eight times the range of the VeDO Kiwi. It also holds its connection reliably through body interference.
The stimulation is also great. The Jive 2 reaches a strong 9 out of 10 on top power, and its thicker, contoured bulb presses that strength firmly into the G-spot the way the Lush line does – transferring the vibrations as effectively as any egg I’ve tested. There are 15 power levels for a gradual build, and the vibes stay rumbly – second only to the Kiwi.
Unfortunately, the app is buggy and bad, with close-range controls often freezing or not responding properly, and a long-distance glitch that sometimes prevents connecting with a partner at all.
If a great app or reliable long-distance play matters to you, the Lovense Lush 4 (above) or Lush Mini (above) are much better choices and slightly cheaper. They just don’t have a physical remote.
But if you want a physical remote with great controls and strong connectivity, the Jive 2 is the best.
Hands-Free Couples Vibrators
Hands-free couples vibrators are designed mainly to wear during partnered sex to give you the clit stimulation you need to orgasm without either partner holding a toy – so your hands are free to be more engaged with each other.
Most wearable couples vibrators are technically dual-stimulation, but their slim internal arm mainly anchors the toy, so the focus remains clitoral. For stronger G-spot stimulation, see the other dual-stimulation wearables below, which aren’t designed to wear during sex. Many couples vibrators can also be worn around, but usually a good panty vibrator or egg vibrator fits more securely and is more stimulating when moving.
The best wearable couples vibrators have an adjustable hinge to better fit them to your individual body – I can only orgasm with adjustable models. Cheap, non-adjustable ones shift off your clit easily, so if you’re on a tight budget and can’t get an adjustable model, you’re better off with a good, affordable handheld like a bullet vibrator. Handheld vibrators also give you more control over placement and pressure.

The We-Vibe Chorus is the best hands-free couples vibrator I’ve tested, and the one that gives you the best chance of a secure, stimulating fit for your own body. It’s one of the few couples vibrators I orgasm with completely hands-free during sex – its two adjustable hinges, one on each arm, let me fine-tune the shape to my body so the clit motor stays pressed against me instead of drifting off the way merely flexible models do.
The one-hinged We-Vibe Sync 2 fits me just as well as the Chorus, but the Chorus’s extra hinge gives you a wider range of customization and the best odds of finding a fit that works for your particular anatomy.
It’s tied with the Sync 2 as the most stimulating couples vibrator I’ve tested, with rumbly, effective clit vibrations and a bulbous internal arm that presses into my G-spot as my partner thrusts. That extra pressure makes it more stimulating for me than clit-only models like the We-Vibe Sync O, and the arm still stays slim enough for comfortable penetration.
The Chorus is built primarily for hands-free stimulation during penetrative sex, and that’s where it stands out. It also works comfortably for brief wear around the house, but that’s a secondary use: heavier movement can wiggle it loose, and its 65-minute battery is short for extended wear. The Sync O stays more secure through activity and lasts longer, but it gives up some of the stimulation that makes the Chorus better during sex. If a toy to wear around is your priority, an egg vibrator or panty vibrator is the better choice anyway.
The other compromise is We-Vibe’s buggy app, particularly for long-distance play, where connection problems can prevent a session from starting at all. Unfortunately, there isn’t a good couples vibrator with better app control. Lovense has a much better app but doesn’t make a couples vibrator, while the Satisfyer models I’ve tested like the Satisfyer Double Joy don’t fit or stimulate well enough. We-Vibe makes the only couples vibrators I actually orgasm with during sex, so its app problems are a tradeoff you have to accept if you want a stimulating couples vibe.
For the Chorus’s main use, though, I usually skip the app and use its excellent physical remote or even the on-toy button. The remote has separate buttons for changing intensity and patterns and maintains a reliable connection even through body interference. That makes the app’s problems frustrating but not a dealbreaker, especially during sex.
For the best chance of finding a secure, stimulating fit that can bring you to orgasm hands-free during sex, the Chorus is the best couples vibrator.

The We-Vibe Sync 2 is about $50 cheaper than the We-Vibe Chorus, and will feel the same to many people. I personally orgasm with it just as easily as the We-Vibe Chorus (above). And the Sync has the same top strength of 6.75 out of 10.
It has one adjustable hinge, which is essential for getting enough stimulation: you can tighten the angle so the clit motor stays pressed against you instead of shifting off the way merely flexible models do. The Chorus adds a second hinge for a wider range of adjustment, giving it better odds of finding the right fit. But the Sync 2’s single hinge was enough for me to get an equally stimulating fit.
Like the Chorus, the Sync 2’s bulbous internal arm adds extra G-spot pressure as my partner thrusts, making it more stimulating than clit-only models like the We-Vibe Sync O. And the arm still stays slim enough for comfortable penetration.
The Sync 2 uses the same We-Vibe app, so it has the same app issues the Chorus has (discussed above). I use the physical remote or the on-toy button more during sex anyway.
The Sync 2’s remote can miss commands when there’s a lot of interference between the remote and the toy. This can happen more when a partner controls your toy while wearing it around, but isn’t much of an issue during sex. But if that’s a big concern to you the Chorus’s remote maintains a stable connection.
For most people who mainly want a couples vibrator to use during sex, though, the Sync 2 delivers the same stimulation as the Chorus for less.
Best Hands-Free Couples Vibrator Under $125
The original We-Vibe Sync is the least expensive couples vibrator I can orgasm with hands-free during sex. It takes a little more adjusting, but gives me the same reliable hands-free orgasm ease as the pricier We-Vibe Chorus and We-Vibe Sync 2 (both above). It’s a discontinued model, so it’s only available while We-Vibe sells off its remaining stock.
Like the Chorus, the original Sync has two hinges, so it’s just as adjustable as the Chorus. Likewise, its clit motor is just as strong as the Chorus’s and Sync 2’s. The main difference that affects stimulation is that its internal arm is thinner and less bulbous. It doesn’t naturally apply as much pressure on my G-spot as my partner thrusts. So I have to spend more time tinkering with the hinges until I get a fit that applies that pressure I want. But with intentional shaping, it can be just as stimulating.
On a charge, the Sync also outlasts both – about 85 minutes on high, versus roughly an hour for either newer model.
The app has the same issues as the Chorus and Sync 2. Its older hard-plastic remote is the least reliable of the three. It’s affected by interference and even with a clear shot, it still takes a few clicks to change the power at times.
But the original Sync is the best value while it lasts. Once it’s gone, the Sync 2 is the least expensive one that stimulates well during sex.
Most Comfortable Couples Vibrator During Sex
Current Deal Current Deal: 38% Off with Code PleasureBetter20
The We-Vibe Sync O is the best couples vibrator if you’re nervous about a toy and your partner’s penis/dildo taking up too much space for your comfort.
Instead of the bulbous G-spot arm of the We-Vibe Chorus and We-Vibe Sync 2, it uses a flexible silicone loop that’s wide side-to-side for a secure fit but narrow front-to-back leaving more room for penetration. It’s the most comfortable couples vibrator I’ve worn during sex if you prefer less girth.
The trade-off is that it’s not quite as stimulating during sex. The loop has no G-spot motor or added front-wall pressure. And it doesn’t clamp as tightly during thrusting, so the clit arm can tilt slightly away from my clit unless my partner’s body is pressing it against me. I still orgasm hands-free with the Sync O, but it takes more time and effort than with the Chorus or Sync 2.
However, this O-shaped arm makes it the most secure-fitting couples vibrator I’ve tested when wearing it around. The loops wider side-to-side size holds the internal arm in better than the usual shape. So it stays put through walking, stairs, and even running – it bounces as I land, but pulls itself right back into place.
Its 93-minute battery outlasts the Chorus’s and Sync 2’s by about half an hour, too, which helps if you wear it for a longer period. Egg vibrators and panty vibrators are still better for wearing around, but the Sync O provides the best balance of being good during sex and easy to wear around.
Like every We-Vibe toy, the app is buggy. The remote is similar to the Sync 2’s – good controls but can miss commands with interference when wearing it around. But reliable during sex.
Choose the Sync O mainly if you’re willing to trade-off some stimulation for more comfortable penetration. Or if you want one couples vibrator that does well during sex and outside the bedroom. If the strongest stimulation during sex is your priority, get the Chorus or Sync 2 instead.
Dual-Stimulation Wearable Vibrators
Unlike the wearable couples vibrators above which sometimes have G-spot stimulation as a secondary add-on, these dual-stimulation wearables are designed specifically to provide strong, hands-free clit and G-spot stimulation together.
They have bigger internal arms to pack a stronger motor so they can’t be worn during sex. Many also stimulate through motion instead of just vibrations. They’re usually best for powerful hands-free stimulation in bed since their bulkier size and sometimes motion can make them less secure or comfortable to wear around and louder than panty vibrators or egg vibrators.
Best Dual-Stimulation Wearable Overall
The Lovense Dolce is the most powerful dual-stimulation wearable I’ve tested and the best overall choice for strong, hands-free clit and G-spot stimulation in bed. It’s one of the few I can orgasm with completely hands-free (though I can also with the Lelo Ida Wave below).
The Dolce’s clit motor is exceptionally strong, while the girthy internal arm presses firmly into my front wall for powerful G-spot vibrations and pressure.
Both motors span from gentle warmup levels to intense top power. When they run together, their vibrations interact to create a deeper, thudding sensation that feels more rumbly and layered than either motor alone – especially when you set them to different powers which you can easily do in the Lovense app. Its adjustable spine also lets you adjust the angle between the arms for better clit and G-spot contact – an advantage over the non-adjustable Lelo Ida Wave and Fantasy For Her Stimulate-Her.
The Dolce also uses the Lovense app which is the best of any brand – with great features and connectivity. You can adjust each motor independently, create custom patterns, or give a nearby or long-distance partner detailed, reliable control. The Ida Wave’s app is much more basic, while the Stimulate-Her uses a physical remote.
The trade-offs are its bulky fit, noisy vibrations, and short 45-minute battery. It stays securely positioned, but I find its girthy internal arm and rigid external arm comfortable enough while lying down, but uncomfortable when walking around. The difficulty when wearing it around is a downside of these strong dual-stim wearables over egg vibrators or panty vibrators in general, not just the Dolce. I find using the Lovense Ferri and Lush 4 (or Lush Mini) together more comfortable for wearing around since I can position each toy independently in a comfy spot for me.
Personal Favorite Dual-Stimulation Wearable
Although the Lovense Dolce above is more intense, the Lelo Ida Wave is my personal favorite dual-stimulation wearable vibrator because it combines strong, rumbly clit vibrations with G-spot pressure from motion rather than internal vibrations. Its rotating arm creates gentle, shifting pressure that feels more like light fingering – a subtler sensation than the Dolce’s powerful vibrations, but one I really enjoy.
The broad external arm transfers its 8.5-out-of-10 clit power especially well to my clit and keeps comfortable, consistent contact with my body. Its vibrations also stay more rumbly than the Dolce’s or Stimulate-Her’s as the power rises. The clit stimulation brings me to orgasm hands-free, while the internal motion adds a gentle fingering sensation and makes those orgasms feel stronger.
The Ida Wave’s internal arm is slimmer and more comfortable than the Dolce’s, and it is the quietest and longest-lasting of the dual-stimulation wearables, running 135 minutes on high in our test. However, its flexible internal arm provides only gentle pressure and can slowly work itself out, so I usually readjust it a few times per session. It is best used in bed, not worn while walking around.
Lelo’s app is reliable but basic – fine for adjusting intensity or choosing presets, but far less in-depth than Lovense’s app for customization or long-distance play. When playing long-distance in Lelo’s app, you can’t video chat or send photos while playing together.
Choose the Ida Wave for rumbly clit stimulation, comfortable G-spot motion, quietness, and a long battery. Choose the Dolce or Stimulate-Her instead if you want strong internal vibrations rather than gentle motion.
Best Budget Dual-Stimulation Wearable
Fantasy For Her G-Spot Stimulate-Her
The Fantasy For Her G-spot Stimulate-Her is the best budget dual-stimulation wearable I’ve tested, delivering unusually strong clit and G-spot vibrations for its price. Its internal motor reaches 9.75 out of 10 – slightly higher on paper than the Lovense Dolce – while its clit motor reaches a strong 8.5, though it’s very buzzy (which I enjoy but some strongly prefer rumbliness).
The G-spot vibrations are the highlight: powerful, impactful, and fairly rumbly internally on its lowest settings which still pack a punch. Its slim arm does not press as firmly into my front wall as the Lovense Dolce’s thicker arm, so the Dolce still feels more stimulating overall; however, the slimmer shape makes the Stimulate-Her more comfortable for extended use in bed. Its clit contact is also more body-dependent than the Dolce since it’s not adjustable, but the stimulation is enjoyable when the shape aligns well with you.
The physical remote is simple, but has excellent connectivity and responds quickly, so it’s a good option if you prefer a physical remote over an app. Its 85-minute battery on high also lasts nearly twice as long as the Dolce’s.
The main compromises are its three widely spaced intensity levels, with no gentle warmup, and its non-adjustable shape. The clit vibrations become very buzzy on high, and the toy is not fully waterproof or secure enough for wearing around. But if the Dolce is outside your budget and you want powerful dual vibrations with a reliable remote, the Stimulate-Her offers outstanding value.
Others to Consider
We-Vibe Moxie+
The We-Vibe Moxie+ is the Lovense Ferri’s main competitor, and it’s the best panty vibe with both app and remote control. But I don’t recommend it unless having both control options is extremely important to you. Its app is buggy and bad – far worse than Lovense’s. And the Moxie+’s stimulation is worse too – I can’t orgasm with it hands-free.
Lovense Lush 3
The Lovense Lush 3 is the predecessor to the Lovense Lush 4 and is nearly identical and slightly cheaper. It has the same strong G-spot stimulation, the same top-of-the-line Lovense app, and the same secure fit. The choice is mostly between the ~$10 cheaper price of the Lush 3 and slightly longer battery or the quieter sound levels of the Lush 4. If you already own a Lush 3, they’re similar enough you don’t need to upgrade.
Lovense Vulse
The Lovense Vulse is a unique egg that stimulates primarily through internal thrusting motion and only mild vibrations. It’s the only motion-based wearable I’ve tested secure enough to comfortably wear walking around, and it runs the same excellent Lovense app as the Lush line. But its vibrations are weak – just 2.5 out of 10 at the top, about a quarter of the Lush 4’s strength – and it’s the loudest egg I’ve tested. For strong G-spot vibrations, go with the Lovense Lush 4, but the Vulse’s motion is also enjoyable, especially when paired with a clit vibrator.
We-Vibe Jive Lite
The We-Vibe Jive Lite is a slimmer alternative to the We-Vibe Jive 2 and the direct competitor of the Lovense Lush Mini. However it’s not worthwhile. We-Vibe’s app is too buggy for reliable control and unlike the Jive 2, the Jive Lite does not have a remote control to fall back on. The Lovense Lush Mini is the far better, stronger, and more reliable egg vibrator for those who value a comfortable slim egg.
We-Vibe Chorus Pro
The We-Vibe Chorus Pro is We-Vibe’s newest and priciest couples vibrator, but I don’t recommend it over the We-Vibe Chorus or We-Vibe Sync 2. Its clit motor is just as strong, but the redesigned external arm is much heavier, so it pulls away from my clit as my partner thrusts and I have to press it in with my hand to finish. It does have the nicest remote of any couples vibrator I’ve tested, and its broad, diffuse clit arm may suit you if you find slimmer arms too focused. But most people will have a better chance of orgasming hands-free with the Chorus or Sync 2.
Dame Eva
The Dame Eva is a fully external alternative to We-Vibe’s C-shaped couples vibrators which all have an internal arm taking up vaginal space during sex. Its flexible wings tuck beneath the labia to hold the motor against your clit, but the fit is a gamble: from tallying hundreds of customer reviews, it’s a roughly even split between people who can wear it hands-free and people who can’t. Personally, I can’t get it to stay in. It easily slips out with lube near the wings, faster thrusting, or when you’re on top. Unless a no-internal-arm design is a must-have for you, the Sync O is the safer minimal-interference pick, with a far more reliable fit.
Lovense Flexer
The Lovense Flexer is another motion-based alternative to the Lelo Ida Wave for those who want more intensity and a better app than Lelo’s. It has very strong (though buzzy) vibes and flexes back-and-forth for a motion that’s supposed to be like fingering. However, most of the movement happens in the clit arm, which rhythmically presses down on and releases your clit. It feels very intense, I orgasm hands-free from it, and anyone who likes pressing on their clit may especially enjoy it. But the G-spot pressure is subtle by comparison. It’s more intense than the Ida Wave, but the flexing motion is less comfortable and can pinch at times.
How to Choose
Which Wearable Vibrator Type Is Right for You?
The easiest way to choose the best type of wearable vibrator is to start with how you want to use it. Then consider whether you want clit stimulation, G-spot stimulation, or both.
- If you want something to wear while walking around, choose a panty vibrator (for clit stimulation) or egg vibrator (for G-spot stimulation).
- If you want something to wear during sex for hands-free clit stimulation, choose a wearable couples vibrator.
- If you mainly want hands-free stimulation while relaxing in bed, choose based on the stimulation you want – a panty vibrator for clit stimulation, an egg vibrator for G-spot stimulation, or a strong dual-stimulation wearable for both.
If you want something to wear while walking around, choose a panty vibrator or egg vibrator. These are the two types built to stay comfortable and stimulating as you move around. Panty vibrators sit against your clit, while egg vibrators sit internally against your G-spot. There are quiet options from both types.
Eggs generally fit the most securely because their bulbous shape holds them inside your body naturally – it takes effort to remove them. But a good magnetic panty vibrator also stays securely in your underwear and is the better choice if clit stimulation is what brings you to orgasm.
While some couples vibrators and dual-stimulation wearable vibrators can be worn around, they often don’t fit as securely while walking and dual-stimulation wearables especially can be loud and uncomfortably bulky for wearing around. Even for dual-stimulation on the move, I prefer using a panty vibrator like the Lovense Ferri and an egg vibrator like the Lush Mini together since I can position each toy in a secure, comfortable position.
If you want a wearable specifically for penetrative sex, choose a hands-free couples vibrator. Its slim internal arm leaves room for a penis or dildo while anchoring an external motor against your clit to give you the stimulation you need to orgasm during sex while freeing your hands to be with your partner. Some also add mild G-spot pressure, but the main stimulation is clitoral. While you can wear many couples vibrators around, they generally shift around more when walking than egg vibrators or panty vibrators and are usually not as powerful because they have to be small enough to wear during sex.
If you mainly want hands-free stimulation while relaxing in bed, choose based on the stimulation you want – a panty vibrator for clit stimulation, an egg vibrator for G-spot stimulation, or a strong dual-stimulation wearable for both.
Many dual-stimulation wearables like the Lelo Ida Wave also stimulate your G-spot through motion – many people like pressure on their G-spot over vibrations. If you’re just using it by yourself in bed, I wouldn’t go with a couples vibrator because they’re usually less powerful than these other wearable vibrators.
App Control vs. Remote Control
Wearable vibrators may be controlled through an app, a physical remote, buttons on the toy itself, or some combination of the three. Choosing between them is a two-step process: first, decide which control method best fits how you play; then make sure the product offers a good, reliable version of it. A feature-rich app is not useful if it freezes or disconnects, and a convenient physical remote quickly becomes frustrating if it regularly misses commands.
Start with the type of play you want:
- For long-distance play, you need an app.
- For nearby control with the most features, precision, and clearest feedback for a partner controlling your toy, choose a good app.
- For simple, eyes-free control without involving your phone, especially for controlling the toy yourself, choose a good physical remote.
For long-distance play, an app is the only option. A physical remote communicates directly with the toy, so it works only nearby. An app connects to a partner’s phone through the internet, allowing a partner to control the vibrator from another home or anywhere in the world. Better apps also add helpful communication features designed around playing together remotely, such as messaging, video calls, and photo sharing while controlling each other’s toys.
For nearby play, you can use an app or a remote – the choice is mainly between the deeper, more visual control of an app and the simpler, more tactile convenience of a remote. For a partner, apps are usually more engaging, but a remote is often more convenient when controlling the toy yourself.
Apps are faster and more precise to get to your preferred setting. Instead of clicking a button several times to reach the setting you want, a good app let’s you jump to that setting directly. Better apps also let you easily create custom patterns, adjust two motors independently, control multiple toys at the same time, synchronize vibrations with music, and provide helpful toy settings like:
- Setting what happens if the toy disconnects – keep vibrating to minimize disruption or stop vibrating to minimize sound.
- Setting a max intensity so the partner controlling your toy can’t turn it higher or louder than you’d like.
Apps are also more engaging for a partner controlling your toy, because it’s easier to understand what your toy is doing. The screen shows the toy’s intensity, displays the pattern’s waveform, and shows the toy’s connection status. So your partner intuitively understands how their actions affect your toy. Most remotes provide little feedback beyond a light blinking when a button is pressed. So a partner is controlling your toy more blindly – clicking buttons without knowing what intensity your toy is on, what pattern is active, or even whether your toy is still on.
A phone is also a normal, commonplace item, whereas a remote is more likely to draw some questions if found accidentally left out on a table by your housemates.
But adjusting an app requires more of your attention – taking out your phone, opening it, and looking at the screen to see what you’re doing. Whereas remotes are simple to operate without taking it out of your pocket or taking your eyes off your partner. So a physical remote can be really convenient. Especially if you’re controlling your own toy, where a remote’s lack of visual feedback doesn’t matter – you feel the vibrations change as you click the button.
The trade-off for that simplicity is that remotes usually provide fewer features and slower navigation. You may need several button presses to reach a particular intensity, and some remotes force you to cycle through every pattern rather than letting you move backward. Features such as custom patterns, separate motor control, or multi-toy control are usually only available through an app.
Once you know which control method suits you, check how well the specific toy delivers it. Reliability matters more than the features. A detailed app is not useful if it disconnects, freezes, or behaves unexpectedly, and a physical remote is not convenient if commands often don’t reach the toy.
- For the best app experience, choose a Lovense toy. Both Lovense’s features and connectivity are outstanding – the best of any brand I’ve tested.
- Remote quality varies more from product to product. Many brands make good remotes, but connectivity can differ even between remotes from the same brand. Check the Remote Control: Connectivity section of the full review for the toy you’re considering. A list of every wearable vibrator we’ve reviewed can be found here (handheld toys almost never have a remote control).
For app-controlled clit stimulation, see the Lovense Ferri; for app-controlled G-spot stimulation, see the Lovense Lush 4 or Lush Mini; and for both, see the Lovense Dolce. If you prefer a physical remote, the VeDO Niki, VeDO Kiwi, We-Vibe Jive 2, and Fantasy For Her Stimulate-Her provide strong stimulation without making you manage a phone.
Also keep in mind, pretty much every toy also has on-toy buttons. And these can also be convenient when you’re just using the vibrator in bed. You don’t have to keep track of or set down a phone or remote and then reach for it whenever you want to change settings. I often use the on-toy buttons with couples vibrators or other toys I’m using by myself in bed. But as soon as you’re wearing a vibrator around, you need an app or remote.
Recent Updates
August 7, 2026
- Published this guide after redesigning our testing and rating system for wearable vibrators to bring egg vibrators, panty vibrators, couples vibrators, and other dual-stimulation wearables under one cohesive testing methodology and testing 58 wearable vibrators under the updated methodology.
All We've Tested
The wearable vibrators I’ve recommended above are the ones I think are the best of each type after testing them all extensively. We consider each wearable vibrator’s price (we include the ones that excel over others in their price range) and performance (we include the wearables that outperform others for a certain use or feature).
But personal preferences vary! If you’re looking for a wearable vibrator I didn’t include here, the comparison table below lists every one I’ve tested. You can also head to our wearable vibrator comparison table tool to see more data and to filter and sort it by the features and test results that matter most to you.
