The Lelo Tiani 3 is not my first couples-toy rodeo.

Main Ways to Wear the Lelo Tiani 3
There’s a couple different reasons people tend to get the Tiani 3.
- For added stimulation during PIV (penis in vagina) sex without needing to use your hands
- For discreet public play
- For hands-free fun at home that stimulates both the clit and G-spot
As someone who owns this toy and others like it, I can confidently say that the best use for it is the first one. Added stimulation during penetration is how it will serve you best.
The Tiani provides some enjoyable clit stimulation (and some G-spot vibes too) hands-free during penetrative sex! So you can stay more engaged with your partner.
When it comes to sneaky public play, other toys are more secure than the Tiani 3 and can stimulate better. If playing outside the bedroom is the main reason you’re considering the Tiani 3, an egg vibrator or vibrating panties would be a better option.
So if you get the Tiani, it’s best to think of public play as a bonus feature – not its main focus.
And when it comes to hands-free dual-stimulation when playing solo: I’ve also found toys that perform better for this! But you cannot wear these ones during penetration. So if you’re most interested in solo dual-stimulation, I’d recommend the Lelo Ida, or the Lovense Dolce.
These are both more stimulating than any wearables that can comfortably pair with penetration.
In this article, I’ll focus primarily on how the Tiani 3 performs during sex and how it compares to other during-sex wearables. But since I’ve also tried the Tiani for solo play and in public, I’ll sprinkle in my thoughts on those uses when applicable.
Wearing the Lelo Tiani 3 During Sex – Who Will Have a Good Experience
Wearing the Lelo Tiani 3 during penetrative sex is my favorite way to use it. And it’s also the way I think most people will enjoy it.
But compared to my other toys you can wear during sex, the Tiani 3 underperforms for me compared to my top picks: the We-Vibe Sync and We-Vibe Chorus.
The Tiani 3 has a looser fit, which means the vibrator has less contact with my clit. So overall, the stimulation is weaker than I get from the tighter-fitting We-Vibe models. Even their mid-budget option (the We-Vibe Match) fits a bit more snug than the Tiani.
You’ll likely have to use your hands to direct the Tiani 3’s vibes where you need them.
But certain people will enjoy the Tiani 3 more than We-Vibe’s couples toys.
The Tiani can be a good fit for someone whose clit sits higher above their vagina. One of the reasons I get less stimulation from the Tiani is because its external sits just above my clit. But the Lelo Tiani 3 will rest better on your clit if you have a greater distance between your clit and vagina.
And for those who are worried about feeling too full during penetration. The Lelo Tiani 3 has one of the smallest internal arms, which leaves plenty of room for additional penetration.

Even though this individual references the Tiani 2 instead of the 3, I still think it’s relevant. Because the arm of the Tiani 3 is a very similar design to both arms on the Tiani 2. So those statements still apply.
So if you have a tighter vagina or a partner whose penis is above-average size, you may benefit from the Lelo Tiani 3’s slimmer internal arm.
Others (including myself) will prefer the more secure fit of the Chorus and Sync. Because they give better stimulation by staying in more-direct contact with the clit. Especially if your clit is further down on your body, closer to your vagina.
The slightly wider G-spot arms of these add some extra internal stimulation too.
Now let’s get into specifics on my experience with the Tiani 3!
Lelo Tiani 3 Vibrations & Stimulation
The Tiani 3 is a dual-stimulation wearable, meaning you’ll feel it both clitorally and on your G-spot. But it only has one motor. Not two different motors like the We-Vibe Sync and Chorus do.
The Tiani’s motor is in the clitoral arm. Which was an intentional move, I’m sure. Since clitoral stimulation is the main thing that’s missing during penetrative sex. So most of the power will be directed to your clit!
But some of those vibes will also carry through the vibrator over to the G-spot. It’s just very slight.
So the Tiani is best if you mostly want some extra vibes for your clit, and don’t need much help internally. However, I do like that the Tiani’s G-spot arm gives an extra kick when pressed into my G-spot with each thrust.
The vibrations are light and buzzy on this toy. And overall, they are fairly mild. I would say the highest power of the Tiani is about ⅓ the strength of my best bullet vibrators.
I also have the Tiani 3’s main competitors, the We-Vibe Sync and Chorus. Compared to these, the highest vibe-power of the Tiani’s clit motor was just a little lower.
And because the Tiani 3 has a looser fit than others, the clit arm doesn’t stay in firm contact with the clit. So overall, the Tiani provides less stimulation than the Sync or Chorus which are stronger and fit tighter against the clit.
It’s still fun, but it didn’t give me those all-over body feels like the Chorus or Sync. These two are about 25% stronger than the Tiani. And they can still reach very low levels too, so you have a wider power range to work with.
During sex, the Tiani 3’s soft stimulation still added a fun tease and kept my clit aroused. It’s an enjoyable sensation that’s nice for getting worked up. But it probably won’t take you all the way unless you orgasm from light stimulation.
I definitely cannot orgasm from the Tiani, but I do orgasm from both the Sync and the Chorus!

What the Tiani 3 does well is provide a way for you to get some subtle clit stimulation to keep you turned on and engaged with your partner during sex and foreplay. It frees up your hands so you and your partner can explore each other instead, without sacrificing your clit stimulation.
But if you want something that will take you over the edge, you may have better luck with one of the stronger wearables like the Chorus. And if you need a lot of power, you still may need to bust out the handheld vibe at some point in your play!
Because these wearable vibrators need to be small so you can wear them during sex, they simply can’t match the overwhelming power of large handheld vibrators like the Magic Wand Rechargeable. Even mini wands like the Lovense Domi 2 still have a bigger, stronger motor than a slim couples vibrator like the Tiani 3.
After going through a lot of handheld toys, I’ve also found a specific type that works great. And doesn’t get in the way when my partner and I are together.
My secret is to use a G-spot vibrator for clit stimulation.
My favorite is the Lelo Mona. Because the handle is long and curved, you have great leverage to press those vibes exactly where you want them. And your hands stay out of the way.
The Mona also has a thin, tapered tip. So it’s much easier to slide between our bodies than bulky wand vibrators.
Not a hands-free solution. But taking this route can give you way more power. And you won’t have to worry about finding a good fit.
Because of the lower vibration strength (and less snug fit), public play with the Tiani 3 wasn’t as fun to me. There are just better options available if you’re not looking for something to wear during partnered sex.
Lelo Tiani 3 Fit and Comfort
A good fit for a couple’s vibrator is crucial for a few reasons:
- The vibes will stimulate better if the toy stays securely on your clit
- The toy won’t fall out while you’re using it
- It won’t bump around in awkward ways that cause discomfort
The Tiani 3 fits more loosely than other couples vibrators I’ve tried. There are no adjustable hinges on the Tiani to customize its shape to your individual body. It’s just a flexible, one-size-fits-all situation.
But one size doesn’t truly fit all.
In my experience, you need to be able to adjust these C-shaped vibrators to your body, or the vibrator won’t stay in firm contact with your clit.
For me, the Lelo Tiani’s clit vibrator just hovered near my clit. But it didn’t sit on it. And it certainly didn’t press against me. Which is really the only way I feel anything from a vibrator.
So while it did fit more securely than a few others like the purely external Dame Eva, I needed a tighter fit to get the stimulation I needed.
The We-Vibe Sync does a good job of pressing the vibes against my clit. And the Chorus does an even better job! The hinges that pull the clit and G-spot arms together are tighter!
I did find that pressing on the Tiani 3 with my hand kept it on my clit much better. But it also takes away the “hands-free” aspect.
While the Tiani 3 won’t fit everyone, there are some people who I think the Tiani’s natural shape may fit better. I found that the Tiani’s motor sat just above my clit. This is why it didn’t stimulate me as well as others.
But people with clits that sit higher above their vagina may find the Tiani 3 rests on their clit more naturally.
If the distance between your vagina and clit is relatively short like mine, the Tiani 3 will take some hand assistance.
We-Vibe’s couple’s vibrators tend to sit lower, which is a better fit for me personally. And even if your anatomy is different, the We-Vibe Chorus and Sync have two adjustable hinges. So you can change their shapes to find a better fit for you.
When it comes to the Lelo Tiani 3 staying inserted, I did not have any problems during sex. Even though the inner arm is thin, the Tiani did not slip out while my partner was in me. The fact that the inside piece is fairly long gave the toy leverage to stay put.
It was less secure if I stood up and walked around though. That’s why I recommend panty vibrators or egg vibrators for public play.
If you have well-fitting underwear and pants, you’ll be fine. But I would avoid wearing loose pants or a skirt while walking around with the Tiani.
Walking around was also the only time the Tiani 3 caused me some discomfort. This was mainly because the clit-vibrator did not sit tight against my body. So when I walked, it bumped around in my panties.
During sex, I actually find the Tiani 3 to be one of the most comfortable wearable vibrators. The internal arm is thinner than the We-Vibe options. So it was easier to slip my partner in, and there wasn’t too much internal pressure.
The Tiani 3’s very thin internal arm might be a huge draw for some. We-Vibe’s couple vibrators have slightly larger internal arms. But even as a tighter individual myself, I did not find We-Vibe’s thicker arms too much for me, even with my partner in me.
But I did find a couple of rare examples of some customers being able to fit their partner while wearing the Lelo Tiani 3, but not when wearing the We-Vibe Sync.
So if you’re looking for an internal arm that provides a ton of extra space for penetration, the Tiani 3 can provide that! It was very comfortable during partnered and solo play.
Lelo Tiani Remote Control Features
Lelo’s remotes provide some of the most feature-rich controls I’ve found. They provide better and more versatile control than most remotes, which is also true for the Tiani 3.
There are two different Sensemotion settings with the remote. The first lets you tilt the top up or down to control the vibration intensity of the Tiani. And the second vibrates harder or slower depending on how quickly you’re moving the remote.
I enjoy this feature because I can easily control the toy without looking at buttons or a screen. I can also create-my-own vibration patterns by tilting the remote back and forth.
It does take a little practice to get the hang of the remote though. To activate the different SenseMotion modes, you have to memorize a series of button clicks to get there. But once you’ve used it a few times and read through the manual, it makes for a great experience!
Then there are the typical button controls. You can press the middle button to cycle through 6 different vibe patterns. And you can raise or lower the intensity of each pattern with the “+” and “-” buttons.
It’s really helpful to adjust the intensity of each pattern. This way, you can have a nice slow build of intensity. Toys that make me cycle through power levels make it harder for me to stay aroused. With those toys, I can’t simply click back down if I reach a power level too intense.
Another great thing about the Tiani 3’s remote is that it can vibrate along to the same pattern or intensity level as your toy. So if your partner controls your toy, they can feel what they’re doing to you!
Some remotes don’t give any physical or visual feedback, so your partner can’t tell how their button-click affected your toy. But Lelo’s remotes let your partner in on the action too.
The vibes on the remote could be too loud, if you’re in public. Luckily there is a way to turn the remote’s vibrations off.
But then you’re back to your partner having no feedback on their actions. So you’ll have to find a sneaky way to communicate whether you want more or less to them.
Lelo recently launched a new app for some toys like the Ida Wave and Tiani Harmony. But the Lelo Tiani 3 is not app-compatible. So you’ll use the remote to control it.
Lelo Tiani Connectivity
The connectivity of this toy was one area that I was hoping for a bit more reliability. It’s not horrible, but it can cut out on occasion.
I find that about 60% of the time I use the Tiani 3, I do not experience any disconnects. But 40% of the time, the remote eventually disconnects. When this happens, it does not automatically re-connect.
It requires going through the series of holding down the button on the toy. And the sequence of button clicks on the remote as well.
If you’re in public, this can be cumbersome. Re-pairing doesn’t require you to take the toy out. But you’ll have to have your hands working on it. So it may take a trip to the bathroom to resolve.
At home during sex, it’s not quite as much of a process. But it definitely doesn’t add to the mood.
All the other couples vibrators’ remote controls maintained a connection closer to 100% of the time. So if you don’t want to deal with any disruptions, try the Chorus instead!
When the Tiani 3 is in the mood to stay connected, it can have quite a long distance between the remote and toy before disconnecting. When I tested all my toys outside, the Tiani had a range of about 185 feet!
So it can be a fun option for across-the-room play. Remember that if there are people, walls, or other obstructions between you, that distance won’t be quite as long.
Lelo Tiani Noise
Compared to my other couples-vibrators, the Lelo Tiani 3 is in the middle for noise level.
All of them are pretty close in volume, so there are just slight differences. The Tiani and all others are discreet enough to wear to a quieter coffee shop as long as there is some ambient noise.
I ran my tests first by wearing each toy and measuring the decibel levels. The Tiani ranged from 37 – 48 dB depending on whether it was on low or high power. There were some quieter couples vibrators, but when it comes to practical use – it doesn’t make a huge difference.
I tested all my toys out at different locations with my partner, and he let me know if and when he could start to hear the toy.
Sitting about 10 feet apart in a silent hallway at home, we could hear the Tiani 3 once we reached 20-30% of the toy’s full power. Most of the other toys performed similarly.
The Chorus was the best, reaching 40-60% power before my partner could hear. But either way, you have to stick to the lower powers if you’re going to play in an especially quiet place.
It’s better to use toys like this somewhere with more natural sound – even if it’s faint!
When we tested the toys at a quiet coffee shop, my partner could not hear any of them even on the highest levels!
And a brewery was also 100% in the clear.
So for public play, the Tiani should be just fine in any place that isn’t silent.
And at-home play will be just fine! Even if you have nosey roommates. We tested, and it’s not audible from the other side of a closed door.
Lelo Tiani 3 – Battery Life and Charging
The Lelo Tiani 3 is rechargeable – WOOT! The remote, sadly, is not. It takes two AAA batteries.
But back to the toy itself – I ran some tests to see just how long the Tiani 3 could go. And how it compared to others.
I charged all of my couples’ vibrators to 100% and then set them to vibrating on max power. Then I checked on them every 10 minutes to see if they were still buzzing along.
The Tiani gets about 75 minutes of battery life. There were some other couples’ vibrators that could go longer. Like the We-Vibe Unite, which lasted 145 minutes. But the Tiani 3 outperformed the Unite in many other areas.
The Lelo Tiani 3’s battery life is definitely sufficient for some at-home fun. We can easily use it during sex without any worries about it dying. But it can be a little short for public play.
If public play is your main priority, I’d recommend a panty vibrator like the Lovense Ferri or an egg vibrator like the Lovense Lush 3. These were made specifically for public play. So they have longer battery lives to last through an evening on the town.
Quick note about charging – the charging port is hidden beneath the screw-on G-spot arm. You’ll unscrew it and plug it in beneath.
The one thing I don’t love about this is that the screw-on top can get a little loose. It loves to collect anything that will fit in there. So make sure to take a dry towel to clean this area out.

For the Tiani 3, you have three color choices – a bright pink, purple-ish magenta, or black. These colors are common, so I wish they had something a little more unique. But overall, still several sleek options!

Lelo Tiani 3 Review Results
The Tiani 3 leaves me wishing for stronger vibes and a tighter fit for better stimulation. However, I think the Lelo Tiani will work better than other couples vibrators for a particular niche audience.
If you have a greater distance between your clit and vagina, the Lelo Tiani’s longer reach will likely sit on your clit better. My clit and vagina are closer together, so We-Vibe’s shorter toys work better for me.
The Lelo Tiani 3 will also work better for those needing extra space for additional penetration. If your vagina is especially tight or your partner’s penis size is on the larger end, you may benefit from the Tiani’s slimmer G-spot arm. It takes up less space in your vagina than the thicker arms of the We-Vibe Sync and Chorus.
I think everyone else will benefit from the more snug fit of the We-Vibe Sync or We-Vibe Chorus. Since they stay in contact better with my clit, I find them more stimulating. And their slightly larger G-spot arm provides a bit more-intense stimulation during sex, while still being comfortable.
These two are also quieter and have better connectivity. And they have app-control capabilities in addition to a remote.
Lelo Tiani 3 Alternatives
Lelo Tiani vs We-Vibe Sync and Chorus
The Tiani 3’s main competitors are the We-Vibe Sync and Chorus. These are all pretty similarly priced.
And I think more people will have success with the Sync and Chorus since they provide an adjustable fit you can customize to your own body.
I personally prefer both the Sync and Chorus over the Tiani 3. They have stronger vibes so I get better clit stimulation during sex. And they provide a snug fit so I don’t need to use my hands as I do with the Tiani 3.
You can also control the Sync and Chorus with an app and remote control. So you can use the app when you want more detailed control of the vibes. And for convenience during sex, you can grab the physical remote.
One of the main reasons you might consider the Tiani over the Sync or Chorus is if you don’t want your wearable to add much girth during sex. The Tiani’s slim arm makes it very easy to guide a penis/dildo in.
So it’s a very comfortable option if you are a tighter individual. That being said, I am someone who prefers less-girthy toys, and I still find the Sync and Chorus comfortable.
It may also be a good option if your clit placement is higher, instead of close down near your vagina. The clit-vibrator on the Tiani sat a little bit above my clit, which is one of the reasons I did not get much stimulation from it. But this may fit others better!
If you choose the Tiani, just be aware that it probably won’t be a completely hands-free experience. You’ll likely need to use your hand sometimes to press the vibes where you want them.
Overall, if your budget can accommodate the Tiani, I think the We-Vibe Sync will be a better choice for most people at a similar price point.
And if you can spend just a little bit more for the newest model – the Chorus provides even more adjustability with two hinges. So you’ll have even more control over your experience!

Other Tiani Alternatives
I tried a few “budget options” for couples vibrators. I wanted to find something that would do the trick at a lower price. These hands-free couples vibrators tend to be more expensive.
Satisfyer is a more budget-friendly brand that normally provides decent options at a lower price than other brands! I regularly recommend their Sexy Secret for those who don’t have the budget for the Lovense Ferri.
So I bought two of their competitors to the Tiani 3 – the Satisfyer Double Joy and the Satisfyer Partner Vibrator (also called the Double Classic). I really wanted one of these to work, so I had something cheap to recommend.
But the vibrations just didn’t feel good, and the fit was terrible.
The Double Joy’s G-spot arm was so thick that we couldn’t fit my partner in me.
And the Partner Massager was able to fit. But it very easily slid out and wasn’t comfortable during penetration.
I’ll keep testing budget couples vibrators in my search for a cheap alternative to recommend. But so far, these hands-free couples vibrators are a type of toy I think it pays to go with a higher quality product.

How to Use the Lelo Tiani 3
The Lelo Tiani 3’s smaller arm is inserted into the vagina. The larger end of the toy rests externally and lays near the clit. The Tiani’s motor is in the clitoral end. It sends most of the vibes to the clit. But you can also feel some of these vibrations in the G-spot end.
You can control this toy with the Lelo remote. It has two SenseMotion settings and several preset patterns.

Difference Between Lelo Tiani 2 and 3
The main difference between the Tiani 2 and 3 is the clitoral stimulator’s shape. Tiani 2 is more rounded, which is supposed to give more focused stimulation to the clit. While the 3 has a square shape to disperse the vibes for a more broad feel.
I have the Tiani 3, but not the 2. I found the Lelo Tiani 3 to be only mildly stimulating. This is due mainly to how high up the vibrator sits, and how loosely it floats near my body.
The Tiani 3 has a similar size and vibe-power to the Tiani 2. So I would estimate that the more rounded shape would not add that much stimulation. I think the primary reasons this toy feels mild are the loose fit and low-powered vibes.
The Tiani 2 also comes with two different G-spot arms. One is thinner, and the other is a tiny bit thicker. The Tiani 3’s arm is the thinner version, which makes penetration easier.
How to Clean the Lelo Tiani 3
The Lelo Tiani 3 is 100% waterproof when the G-spot arm is correctly screwed into the clit-motor-end. Wash the toy with warm, soapy water and dry with a towel, or let it air dry.
The rim between the G-spot and clit portions can collect lube. So I recommend unscrewing, and wiping this area off with a dry towel.
