The Sexy Secret has one of the weakest, buzziest clit motors of any panty vibrator I’ve tested, so even though it fits on my clit well, the result is more tickly than stimulating.

If hands-free clit stimulation is your priority, go with the Lovense Ferri – same price tier, similarly capable app, and more than three times the Sexy Secret’s top power. Or the VeDO Niki (remote controlled, no app) if you prefer a remote or are on a budget.

In the next sections, I’ll cover the Moxie+’s vibration power and rumbliness in-depth.

The Moxie+’s clit stimulation is middle-of-the-road. It’s moderately strong, but the straight design transfers that power inconsistently to my clit. And it’s not that rumbly either like people often expect from We-Vibe.

If you value clit stimulation most, the Lovense Ferri is strongest, or go with the VeDO Niki if you care more about rumbliness. Both are stronger than the Moxie+ and transfer their vibrations better to my clit.

The Sexy Secret has one of the weakest clit motors of any panty vibrator I’ve tested, with a top power of just 2.5 out of 10. The only panty vibrator I’ve tested with a weaker motor is its sister product, the Satisfyer Little Secret. Stronger competitors like the Lovense Ferri, NS Novelties Techno Lucy, and VeDO Niki all deliver more than three times the Sexy Secret’s top power.

I can’t orgasm from this toy hands-free, even when I use the strongest setting and press it firmly into my clit with my hand. Its full power range – from a barely-there 0.5 at the bottom up to that 2.5 at the top – sits entirely below the strength I need to orgasm.

The frustrating part is that the fit is doing its job well. The broad, soft silicone arm contours well to my body and stays in firm contact, so the vibrations actually reach my clit. But what reaches me feels underwhelming – the vibration can feel enjoyable, but more as a warmup and slight tease than anything truly stimulating.

For a panty vibrator with a motor strong enough for hands-free orgasm (for me personally), consider the Lovense Ferri if you want excellent app control. On a budget, the VeDO Niki (remote-only) and the Techno Lucy (app controlled, but more basic than Satifyer’s) both pair similarly great body-contoured shapes with much stronger motors than the Sexy Secret’s.

The Moxie+’s clit motor delivers decent power, but its straight, firm body doesn’t transfer that power to your clit as reliably as the best panty vibrators.

At 6.75 out of 10, the top setting is about 72% of the Lovense Ferri‘s 9.35 and a step behind the VeDO Niki‘s 8.0. I can’t orgasm hands-free with the Moxie+ like I can with those other two panty vibes.

The range is wide with small, comfortable steps between levels. When controlled with the remote, the Moxie+ steps through 13 levels from a very gentle 0.70 up to its 6.75 top setting – so there’s plenty of warmup levels and moderate settings, just nothing very strong at the top.

The vibration transfer to my clit is inconsistent. With a handheld you can press harder for more intensity; with a wearable, the toy’s shape has naturally deliver the vibrations to your clit, and shapes that contour to your body do that better.

The Moxie+ is firm, long, and straight, so it doesn’t stay snug against the body. When I get it situated just right, transfer is fine, but keeping it there is difficult. The straight body slips out of position with normal movement, the same way the Romp Party does, and once it shifts, the intensity I actually feel drops off.

If you want stronger clit stimulation, both the Ferri(app-controlled) and Niki(remote-controlled) are better choices.

We rate panty vibrators with rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because rumbly is what most people prefer – but it’s a personal preference, so consider what you like.

The Sexy Secret is on the buzzy side. Vibrations start neutral at its lowest power (80 Hz) and quickly climb into the extremely buzzy range, hitting 144 Hz at the top. The motor’s median frequency is 127 Hz – well into the extremely buzzy band.

Vibrators always become buzzier as you increase power, so this curve isn’t unusual on its own. But because the motor is so weak (covered above), there’s no point on the curve where the vibrations feel rumbly and impactful: by the time you’ve turned the toy up enough for the vibrations to register, you’re already deep in extremely buzzy territory. That’s why the sensation feels tickly – the buzziness layers on top of the weakness, giving the vibrations a high-frequency, surface-level character rather than the deep, resonant feel rumbly vibrations provide.

Most panty vibrators actually lean buzzy, but plenty have better power so that the vibrations still feel impactful – for instance, the Lovense Ferri is also buzzy, but its strength makes it the one I can orgasm with most easily.

If you specifically prefer rumbly vibrations, the VeDO Niki is a better option. It’s the only panty vibrator I’ve tested centered around the rumbly range (66 Hz at the median) and it has great power too.

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy because most people prefer them – but it’s a personal preference, and some people prefer buzzy – I personally like both.

The Moxie+’s rumbliness is subpar. It’s extremely rumbly on its lowest settings (starting around 49 Hz), but moderately buzzy at median power (102 Hz), and extremely buzzy at the top (122 Hz). Since the lowest settings are gentle and mostly warmup levels – most of the frequency range you’ll use will feel buzzy.

That’s essentially the same profile as most other panty vibrator I’ve tested except the VeDO Niki.

The Lovense Ferri, Romp Party, and NS Novelties Techno Lucy all run moderately buzzy at median power and cross into extremely buzzy on high. However, because some options, like the Ferri, have more power at similar frequencies to the Moxie+, the stronger ones actually feel more rumbly than the Moxie+.

For a wearable clit vibrator, frequency matters less than the power and how reliably the toy delivers that power to your clit – frequency is secondary. But the Moxie+ is only decent on all three. If rumbly vibrations are specifically what you’re after in a panty vibe, the VeDO Niki is the most rumbly and it gets the power and clit transfer right too.

Like all panty vibrators, the Satisfyer Sexy Secret only stimulates your clit – not your G-spot. Satisfyer’s app is the closest second to Lovense’s. Its close-range and long-distance features are genuinely strong, with only minor tradeoffs compared to Lovense. Connectivity is the one mixed area: the app is designed well, so there aren’t bugs causing connection issues in close or long-distance play. But the bluetooth signal struggles when there’s a lot of your body between the phone and the toy, which can happen more often when letting a nearby partner control your toy from certain angles.

If app control is your top priority, go with the Lovense Ferri – the absolute best app and panty vibrator. Otherwise, the Satisfyer Connect app is the closest you’ll get to a Lovense-quality without going Lovense.

In close-range there are ongoing bugs that affect several products, including the Moxie+. The controls sometimes freeze and require you to close/re-open the app. Long-distance control has a bug that often blocks you from connecting at all.

While the Moxie+ specifically has shown fewer bugs in our testing than other We-Vibe products like the We-Vibe Chorus Pro, Jive 2, and other newer models, the persistent glitches for other products make it hard to trust the Moxie+ either.

If app control is a priority to you in a panty vibrator, go with the Lovense Ferri. Its app is the best of any brand, with outstanding features and connectivity. Plus, the Ferri is the panty vibrator I orgasm with hands-free the easiest.

The Satisfyer Connect app’s close-range features are great overall – second only to Lovense’s.

The Live Control screen (which is like Lovense’s main Remote screen) is its best feature. Here I can adjust a constant vibration intensity or draw a custom pattern from the same place. You raise or lower the intensity by swiping up or down on the screen. You can also tap the loop button, draw a pattern, and it will repeat. Many apps split those into separate screens, so the seamless switching is nice. There’s also a Boost button for an instant 30-second burst at high power.

The biggest way Satisfyer Connect differs from Lovense is in user experience. It’s harder to tell your exact strength in Satisfyer’s app, so if your partner is controlling, it’s harder for them to have an exact idea what’s happening. Satisfyer can also take more “swiping” to reach your preferred setting rather than single-taps compared to Lovense.

Satisfyer’s Pattern creation is strong with some small downsides. There are three ways to creat your own pattern. The first is drawing a real-time loop from the Live Control screen. We’ve found that the pattern it loops back often doesn’t match what you drew. It speeds it up or oversimplifies it (for instance, it usually transforms pulses to waves) – but this won’t be too big of an issue for most people.

You can also save your full vibration session as a pattern (up to 15 minutes long), so if you like the build-up you had during a certain sesssion, you can replay it. Lastly, you can use the On-Screen Sketch mode to draw a 5-second waveform with an instant preview before saving. This gives very fine-tuned control, because you’re not drawing it in real-time (unlike Live Control). You can preview the feel and start again if you don’t like it.

Satisfyer’s preset pattern selection and adjustability is fairly good. There are a lot of presets to choose from with a variety of waveforms (waves, pulses, triangular waves, gradual ramping, etc.). And you can adjust the intensity of the pattern by swiping your finger up and down on the screen.

There’s also an active Satisfyer community that creates and shares vibration patterns, and you can save these to your presets list. You can sort by “popular” to see which ones are well liked. You can also see a preview of the waveform so you can easily tell which ones are designed for two motors vs one motor, so you can download the ones that fit your toy. Any patterns you created and saved yourself are available in the Presets library to use again too. You can also use the “Sequences” screen to string together a series of preset patterns to play back-to-back.

It does have a few noticeable weaknesses: There’s too many default preset patterns with many of them being very similar, so it clutters the pattern selection screen and makes it harder to find what you’re looking for. The preset patterns all have a descriptive name and an icon of the waveform so you can tell what it should feel like before selecting it – some match well, but others don’t. So you still have to just try them to see what they feel like.

Satisfyer also has some synced audio features like Remotyca Stories and High Touch Meditation.

They have a large library of erotica audio stories for you to listen to. Throughout the story your toy will be vibrating along – usually on a pattern or a constant setting that’s gentler to moderate power near the beginning of the story. Toward the end of the story, it ramps up to a stronger, constant vibration to help you orgasm. There is a slider so you can adjust the intensity yourself during the story too.

This can be a great feature for people who like erotic audio. But it can be difficult to find stories by your interest because you can’t filter by specific fantasies or tags. There is a search bar, but it doesn’t work very well. So you have to scroll through stories and read their descriptions to know if it interest you.

The meditation feature works the same as the Erotica feature, except that the audios are guided meditations, which can be great for people who enjoy combining masturbation and mindfulness practices.

Music Vibes and Ambient Sound are the weaker of Satisfyer’s features. Music Vibes feels reasonably matched to a song’s softer moments, but once the music gets full, the toy just does a steady vibration with a bit of a wobble, so it’s not very accurate.

Ambient Sound is the sound-reactive mode – the toy vibrates in response to noise around you. It works, but the controls are more limited than the best apps. The best apps like Lovense, give you two separate sliders: one to set how loud a sound has to be before the toy reacts, and one for how intensely the toy vibrates when it does. Satisfyer combines both into a single slider, where sliding up makes the toy respond to quieter sounds and raises the intensity at the same time.

The problem is that usually you want the opposite behavior – you want the toy to vibrate stronger only when the sound around you is louder. So it’s not ideal in Satisfyer’s app.

If you want a better panty vibrator with the absolute best close-range features, go with the Lovense Ferri. But the Satisfyer’s app is the closest second to Lovense’s – it’s just a bummer the Sexy Secret itself is not stimulating enough.

The We-Vibe Moxie+’s close-range features in the app are decent when they work. It has simple control interfaces to adjust intensity and choose from preset patterns without in-depth custom pattern creation. But bugs occasionally cause the controls to break, which requires an app restart. While the bugs are less prominent for the Moxie+ than for We-Vibe’s newer toys, if app control is a priority, the Lovense Ferri is a far better choice.

We-Vibe’s main control happens on two screens: Single Vibe and Multi Vibe. They work similarly – you drag an on-screen dot to adjust the intensity, and the toy keeps vibrating wherever you leave it. Multi Vibe also splits the screen into four corners, each holding a preset pattern you choose, so dragging the dot into a corner switches to that pattern at whatever strength the dot’s position represents.

It’s a clean design for the basics, and a quick way to flip between a constant intensity and a preset without a menu detour. Unfortunately there’s an annoying bug on the Single and Multi Vibe screens where the motor’s dot sometimes freezes or becomes non-interactive at times.

What you can’t do from these screens is create a custom pattern in the moment the way you can in the Lovense or Satisfyer apps. Pattern creation lives on a separate screen and is pretty unusable.

It’s hidden on a separate screen that takes a few taps to find. Once you’re there, you draw a waveform without being able to feel it; you save and name the pattern, navigate back to the control screen, select the pattern, and only then find out what it feels like.

Patterns are also capped at the width of your screen, so what you create comes back short and choppy. My partner and I both tried creating patterns; his played, mine crashed the app on every one of four attempts and I gave up.

The preset patterns are easy to use but basic. There are 10 of them, each with a name and a one-line waveform icon, so you can roughly tell what you’re picking before you select it. The simple ones – Pulse, Wave – match their names and icons well enough, but others are not intuitive.

You adjust the intensity of a preset pattern from the Single Vibe and Multi Vibe with the control dot. There’s also a Playlist feature for stringing presets together into longer, more varied sequences, but you can’t feel what you’re assembling as you build it, so it’s mostly guesswork – I don’t use it.

Multi-toy control (like if you have a Moxie+ and a Jive 2 for G-spot stimulation) is decent when it works. You can connect several toys at once (we got four going simultaneously) and either control each one independently or merge them all into a single dot. But often one or more of the toys just stopped responding to our actions in the app.

Sound and music modes are okay. Sound mode uses your phone’s mic to make the toy respond to ambient noise. Music mode plays the toy in time with songs saved locally on your phone (no Spotify or Apple Music streaming, which is a bummer).

Both work, but the controls aren’t well labeled – figuring out whether you’re adjusting the mic’s sensitivity or the toy’s max power takes some experimenting. And there’s no minimum-volume threshold, so you can’t tell the toy not to vibrate unless the sound around you is above a certain level.

For better close-range features without bugs, consider the Lovense Ferri.

The Satisfyer Connect app’s long-distance experience is good too – again the closest second to Lovense’s.

During a long-distance session, your partner uses the same Live Control screen they’d use during nearby Bluetooth play. They get the same intensity adjustment controls, the same Loop function for drawing real-time patterns, and the same waveform display so they can see what you’re feeling. The one slight reduction from close-range is that there’s no prompt to save patterns at the end of a long-distance session like there is during close-range play.

You can share control of your toy with or without video and voice.

Getting into a call is easy. There’s a clear accept/reject popup, all the standard controls are there (mute, camera toggle, switch front/rear, end), and locking the phone or backgrounding the app doesn’t drop the connection – the camera freezes but the toy keeps vibrating, and everything resumes smoothly when I unlock my phone again.

The main downside is what the screen looks like during the call. The vibration waveform always sits prominently across the video feed of your partner and can’t be minimized. The app paints a light blue or pink gradient over the feed to indicate the toy’s power, which is distracting if you want to actually see your partner clearly. Lovense handles the same controls more gracefully – minimizable, no color-tint – so for couples where visual clarity matters, Satisfyer’s video feed is a real downgrade.

Messaging during a session works well (easy back-and-forth, partner gets notified), but the media tools are limited: photos only, no video clips, no voice recordings, and no screenshot-disable for privacy. Lovense’s app does all three.

Satisfyer is also missing a few of the partner-side controls Lovense has: no max-intensity cap, and no setting to control what the toy does on a Bluetooth disconnect (Lovense lets you pick between stopping for discretion or keeping the vibrations going for smoother continuity). There’s no anonymous control or social matching either – niche for most couples.

If long-distance play with the cleanest video and richest partner tools is your priority, the Lovense Ferri is a better option.

The We-Vibe app’s long-distance features are broken. The features are designed fine in theory, but persistent bugs make long-distance play unreliable enough that I can’t recommend the app for it at all. If you need long-distance play, get the Lovense Ferri instead.

The long-distance experience mirrors close-range. Your partner gets the same Single Vibe, Multi Vibe, and Touch screens to control your Moxie+, and vice-versa. You can even take back control of your own toy mid-session without ending the call – a feature I wish more apps had.

But the same bugs from close-range control affect the long-distance control – the control dot occasionally freezes or becomes unresponsive. Additionally, both partners frequently show up as “offline” to each other even when you’re both in the app, which prevents you from starting a session at all.

Even when long-distance does connect, getting into a video call takes four separate request-and-accepts (call, camera, control of your toy, control of theirs). And the in-app video feed is blurry and choppy in a way Lovense’s isn’t.

The messaging itself is decent as a basic messenger, with text, photos, voice notes, and video clips. We-Vibe also lets you save multiple partners, but doesn’t offer the anonymous one-time control links or the auto-accept settings for trusted partners that Lovense’s app does.

For long-distance play, the Lovense Ferri is cheaper and a far better panty vibrator.

The Sexy Secret’s app connectivity is reliable for everyday solo use and for long-distance play. But the signal can be unreliable under a lot of body interference like often happens when letting a nearby partner control your toy. If outstanding connectivity is important, consider the Lovense Ferri instead.

Pairing the Sexy Secret is typically quick and easy. The very first time takes a couple of seconds (hold the toy’s button until it vibrates twice, then select it from the toys list when it shows up). After that, the app auto-connects when you turn the toy on – which works reliably as long as your phone was the last one connected to it.

If it doesn’t (auto-connect usually only fails after I’ve used a different phone with the toy in between) you typically have to hold the toy’s button for about 10 seconds until you feel several quick pulses to reset it, then re-pair. If that still fails, you may have to “forget device” in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and try again. Tedious, but it gets you back in every time and is typically only necessary if you connect multiple different phones to the toy.

If the connection drops mid-session, reconnection is automatic when the signal returns cleanly. However, when signal is only partially blocked rather than fully gone (say I shift my body and the connection degrades without dropping outright) the app can freeze instead of auto-reconnecting. The fix is to force-close the app and reopen; the toy is typically already paired by the time it loads back up, so control resumes right away. (Avoid tapping “Connect Now” in the disconnect popup – that routes you into a manual screen you’ll need to exit.) Once you know the move it’s not too disruptive, but is still annoying.

Commands go through reliably when I’m controlling my own toy. And the Sexy Secret can handle light to moderate body interference like happens when a partner is controlling your toy while facing you or at a slight angle. But it drops connection when body interference is more substantial.

Water-rich materials like body tissue can significantly dampen bluetooth signals – moreso than clothes or typical walls. Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively harder positions: the Sexy Secret holds a stable connection at the first two but loses it at the third, most severe angle.

Its sister product, the Satisfyer Little Secret and their egg vibrator (the Satisfyer Petal), all struggle under some body interference so this looks like a Satisfyer-hardware pattern rather than a Sexy Secret-specific defect. The Lovense Ferri holds a stable connection at all three positions, which is important if a partner will be controlling your toy from another room or with a lot of your body in the way.

Bluetooth range comes in around 135 feet in our open-air test (measured with a clear line-of-sight). That’s plenty for partner control across a normal house, but keep in mind that body interference at certain angles will make your real distance shorter.

The long-distance connection is great.

Session start is fast and reliable. There’s a clear Remote Play tab where you send your partner a control or video request; the request shows up wherever they are in the app, and pushes a notification if their phone is locked (you can turn notifications off if you don’t want them).

Sessions don’t drop unexpectedly, commands consistently go through, and the app handles real-world phone behavior gracefully – locking my phone, switching to another app, or backgrounding Satisfyer Connect doesn’t disrupt the session. The app handles switching between Wi-Fi and cell data mid-call smoothly too.

The connection works in two parts: the toy talks to your phone over Bluetooth (the same as during nearby play), and your phone talks to your partner’s phone over Wi-Fi or cell data. Since during a long-distance call, your phone right by you is the one connected to your toy’s bluetooth, the body interference issue doesn’t really come into play. So as long as your cell data or Wi-Fi is decent, the long-distance connection works well.

If a reliable connection through any situation matters most, the Lovense Ferri is a better option – more robust through body interference and a slightly longer Bluetooth range. For solo control, partnered control from angles without much of your body in the way, and long-distance play, the Sexy Secret’s connectivity holds up well.

The We-Vibe app’s connectivity with the Moxie+ is poor in close-range and broken in long-distance.

The Bluetooth hardware itself is fine: range is excellent, and body interference doesn’t faze it. But bugs cause unreliable reconnection, frequent command misses, and trouble with long-distance play. Lovense has the most reliable app connectivity by a wide margin – consider the Lovense Ferri if app control is a priority.

Initial pairing in close-range is straightforward – add the Moxie+ to the app’s toy carousel once, and from then on it’s two taps to connect with no on-toy action needed. For most people, who own one or two We-Vibe toys and use a single phone, this part works fine.

The breakdown happens if you own several We-Vibe toys and switch between them often, or if you regularly switch which phone is controlling the same toy (like if you and your partner both connect occasionally). This causes the quick-connect routine to fail, and recovering often means deleting the toy from the app, forgetting it from your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and walking through the full pairing flow again – an annoying start to your play.

Reconnection during play is inconsistent. If you drop signal and get back in range within 10-20 seconds, the app typically reconnects automatically – but during that window the app doesn’t show that the connection has dropped, so your partner can be “controlling” the toy on screen while nothing is actually happening to your toy. Wait too long to come back in range and you’ll have to tap through the connection screens again, sometimes including holding the on-toy button, which can be awkward when you’re wearing the toy.

Even when the connection holds, the app’s controls break. Command misses are frequent enough that I don’t trust the app to keep up with what I’m asking it to do. Especially on Single and Multi Vibe screens.

The Moxie+ handles body interference cleanly. Our body-interference test simulates partner-control at three progressively harder positions – angles where your body sits between a partner’s phone and the toy which can block the signal. The Moxie+ holds a stable connection at all three. Water-rich body tissue weakens Bluetooth signals more than walls or clothes, and many wearables drop the connection at the third, most severe position; the Moxie+ doesn’t. The signal is strong, and the reliability problems are app-side. Bluetooth range is also excellent – the connection held at 250 feet in our open-air test.

Long-distance is where the app is fully broken. The problem is the two app-level bugs I covered in the Long Distance Features section above: both partners frequently show as “offline” to each other and can’t start a session at all, and when they do connect, control commands often stop reaching the toys. Both bugs happen regularly without a reliable way to fix it.

If reliable app connectivity is what you need – close-range or long-distance – go with the Lovense Ferri. It has outstanding connectivity and it’s the panty vibrator I can most consistently orgasm with hands-free.

The Satisfyer Sexy Secret doesn’t include a physical remote control. A remote lets you adjust the toy by feel – without pulling out your phone. Though there’s other downsides like less depth and no visual feedback to help your partner know what your toy’s doing. The We-Vibe Moxie+’s remote features are great.

One of the best aspects is that the power and pattern controls are separate. There’s dedicated + and − buttons to move forward and backward through 13 power levels, and pressing and holding either button steps through them quickly to reach a higher or lower setting faster.

And there’s forward and backward buttons to move through the 6 vibration patterns. So I never have to cycle past patterns to reach a power level or vice versa – many remotes put them on the same loop.

The remote itself is comfortable to hold. It’s small and silicone-coated sitting naturally in my hand, and the buttons are raised enough that I can feel which is which without looking – this kind of eyes-free operation can be a practical advantage of a remote over an app.

Like most remotes, the Moxie+’s remote just blinks when a button is pressed – there’s no way for the partner holding it to tell what setting your toy is on. It’s not a huge deal, especially if you’re often the one controlling your own toy. But for a controlling partner, it can feel less engaging than an app’s visual feedback.

The Moxie+’s remote works well on many connection aspects – fast responsiveness, instant reconnection, and one of the longer ranges of my panty vibrators’ remotes (125 ft in our test). But it’s significantly affected by body interference.

Body tissue between the remote and the toy is the main thing that breaks a remote’s signal during partner control – your body can sit in the signal path between your partner’s remote and the toy. And water-rich materials like your body can significantly dampen Bluetooth and RF signals.

Our body-interference test simulates this scenario at three progressively challenging angles, and the Moxie+’s remote drops the connection at all three – the worst of any panty vibrator (including the original Moxie). The on-toy button flashes indicating it has lost connection, and you have to move the remote closer to recover.

It’s important to understand our test runs harsher than typical real-world conditions. At many angles, an external toy like a panty vibrator won’t have any body interference blocking the signal. So your partner-controlled play may be less drop-prone in practice. And for solo control when I’m holding the remote myself, commands have gone through reliably. But most panty-vibe remotes and apps I’ve tested hold a reliable connection through body interference.

If you want reliable control without worrying about where your partner is positioned from you, go with the VeDO Niki for a remote controlled toy or the Lovense Ferri for an app-controlled toy.

Since you’ll use the app, the on-toy controls are very basic – a single button cycles through three power levels and seven vibration patterns, with the full power range only available in the Satisfyer Connect app. Three power levels keep the cycle short enough to tap through quickly, though I wish patterns weren’t on the same cycle – most people don’t use them, and it makes it take more clicks to cycle through power levels.

The button itself is easy to feel without looking. It sits center-placed on the broad, plush body – pressing the button pushes the toy into me a bit, but the pressure spreads evenly enough that it doesn’t dig in.

Like most panty vibrators, the Moxie+’s on-toy controls are limited by design – the toy sits inside your underwear during use, so you’ll typically rely on the remote.

A single button cycles through four power levels and six patterns, with no minus button. To step back to a gentler power, you click forward through the rest of the loop.

The button is easy to feel, but it’s slim and takes more pressure than most. It also sits at the very top of the toy, so pressing it pushes the toy uncomfortably against my clit. Slipping my thumb under to brace it works, but it’s awkward.

For the full 13-step power range – and any adjustment you’d rather not reach into your underwear to make – the remote does the real work.

The Satisfyer Sexy Secret fits extremely securely in bed, but the contact with my clit loosens a bit when I’m moving around.

The magnet that secures it to your underwear is excellent – strong, broad, and covering a generous portion of the back of the toy, it locks the panty vibrator to my underwear very well. The larger magnet prevents the toy from swiveling side-to-side like toys with smaller magnets often do.

In bed, the Sexy Secret stays exactly where I put it. The broad, soft silicone design follows the curve of my body, keeping it in great contact without shifting around, even as the underwear shifts.

While walking or doing anything upright, the toy’s position in my underwear stays in place, but the toy’s pressure against my body loosens. The magnetic anchor keeps it locked to the underwear reliably – it doesn’t drift to the side or come loose – but gravity pulls the underwear (and the toy with it) a bit away from my clit, so the already-gentle vibrations feel even more tickly than they do when I’m sitting or lying down. Sitting back down restores close contact immediately.

This pulls-away-from-the-body dynamic affects most magnetic panty vibrators to some degree, but it’s more noticeable on the Sexy Secret than on most other panty vibrators I’ve tested. If active-wear is a big priority, the Lovense Ferri and NS Novelties Techno Lucy each fit more securely, and are much more stimulating.

The Moxie+’s magnet anchors the toy reliably to your underwear in bed, while walking, and during heavy exercise, but there’s some side-to-side swiveling.

The magnet is strong, but it’s a small disc at the top of a long toy without any body contouring. The magnet pins the clit-end securely and that point stays locked to your underwear. But the long, straight lower end has room to swing slightly side-to-side as I move. The more body-contouring shape of panty vibrators like the VeDO Niki and NS Novelties Techno Lucy reduces that side-to-side movement.

Underwear choice also matters across every activity – form-fitting underwear keeps the Moxie+ snug much better. With a looser pair, the magnet still holds, but the underwear itself can shift and move the toy with it.

In bed, with tight underwear, I could keep the Moxie+ in a good, stimulating position.

Standing, walking, or doing heavier activity like running/jumping is where it moves side-to-side more and the contact with my clit loosens a bit – something a lot of magnetic panty vibes do to some degree. The toy doesn’t drift sideways or come loose, but gravity pulls my underwear (and the toy with it) a bit away from my clit when I’m upright. Pulling everything up to sit closer to my body fixes it, but it’s an adjustment I make every so often.

The Satisfyer Sexy Secret is very comfortable.

It’s among the most comfortable panty vibrators I’ve tested in bed. The broad, soft silicone arm sits flush against my clit, the contoured back piece curves easily between my legs, and the whole form is plush and flexible enough that it feels like it melds to my body – no pinching, no awkward pressure points. The broad part by your clit spreads its weight across the area rather than digging in at one spot, and the form flexes with me as I shift around.

It’s also very comfortable when walking and moving around for many of the same reasons. The only complaint is that when I’m walking or doing anything upright, gravity makes the toy apply less pressure on my clit. So the vibrations are more tickly – it doesn’t bother me personally when walking around, but it could bother those senstive to buzzy, tickly vibrations.

The Moxie+ is comfortable without too much movement, but its firm, slim body delivers more focused pressure on my clit than broader panty vibrators – pleasant if you like a precise point of contact, potentially uncomfortable if you don’t.

In bed, the silicone surface is soft and smooth and doesn’t tap around too much. With no flex and a slim profile, the Moxie+ contacts a precise area for focused stimulation.

When I’m walking around, the same firm, straight shape shifts more than a broader or contoured toy would – particularly on stairs or when I’m going from sitting to standing. Sometimes this can feel more stimulating, but other times it’s uncomfortable. If you’re sensitive to overstimulation, the lack of control here may be overwhelming.

A broader panty vibrator with more even pressure is more consistently comfortable. Like the VeDO Niki (remote-controlled) and the NS Novelties Techno Lucy (app-controlled). Two more comfortable picks at a lower price.

The Satisfyer Sexy Secret is one of the quietest wearables I’ve tested. But it’s only so quiet because it’s weak – for a stronger, quiet panty vibe consider the VeDO Niki.

The Sexy Secret’s decibel readings on low and high power were extremely quiet, too quiet for our Sound Level Meter to pick up on. The ambient room noise was 35 dBA, and the the vibrations never measured higher than this.

It’s also in the most-discreet group of wearables in our Background Noise Masking subtest. In this part of our noise test, my partner listens from three feet away as I wear the vibrator and we play pink noise through a speaker at set volumes. He couldn’t hear the Sexy Secret at any vibration strength under any of our three tested volumes of background noise (56, 62, or 68 dBA).

While its one of the quietest vibrators, it’s also worth noting that every wearable I’ve tested, including the Sexy Secret, is audible in a fully silent room (no pink noise playing) – no matter how gentle and quiet its vibrations are.

The Sexy Secret was also inaudible behind a closed bedroom door. For this part of the test, my partner listens directly outside our bedroom door while I use the toy in bed. For this test, I use it like a handheld toy since wearing dampens sound, and some people want the flexibility to safely re-position the toy or move it around. Holding the toy instead of wearing it gives us the most conservative results. And he couldn’t hear the Sexy Secret at any setting in a silent house, with no fan or music needed to mask the noise.

However, the VeDO Niki is similarly quiet but is also one of the most stimulating panty vibrators I’ve tested, so it’s a better option if you care about power and noise.

The We-Vibe Moxie+ is quiet.

Decibel readings on low and high were both too quiet for our Sound Level Meter to register. The ambient room noise was 35 dBA, and the Moxie+ never measured higher than that.

For our Background Noise Masking subtest, I wear the toy while my partner listens from three feet away and we play pink noise through a speaker at quiet, moderate, and loud volumes (56, 62, and 68 dBA). At our quiet audio (56 dB), every setting was masked except high – on high, my partner could just barely make out a low hum, and only when I held still. Once I started moving, even high became hard to discern.

At our moderate and loud volumes, every setting was fully masked. It’s also worth noting that every wearable I’ve tested, including the Moxie+, is audible in a fully silent room (no pink noise playing) – no matter how gentle and quiet its vibrations are.

For the closed-door test, my partner listens directly outside our bedroom door while I use the toy in bed. It’s worth noting that the Moxie+ is quieter than the original Moxie. We’re uncertain whether that is a design upgrade, or if the Moxie just grew lounder over time.

If you want a panty vibrator that was fully masked by our quietest tested background level (56 dBA), consider the NS Novelties Techno Lucy (app-controlled) or VeDO Niki (remote-controlled).

In our test, the Sexy Secret lasted 167 minutes continuously running at its highest power. While that’s among the longest battery lives of any panty vibrator I’ve tested, it’s not very impressive because the top setting is very weak so it doens’t use that much battery.

The Lovense Ferri had basically the same runtime in our test (168 minutes) while being the strongest panty vibe we’ve tested (3.7x stronger than the Sexy Secret).

The Moxie+ has decent battery life – 85 minutes on its highest power in our test. If you specifically want a long battery life, go with the Lovense Ferri which lasted nearly twice as long (168 minutes).

The Sexy Secret is fully waterproof (IPX7) so it’s very easy to clean. You can run it under a faucet or submerge the whole toy while scrubbing it with soap and water.

The Sexy Secret is well-built. Soft silicone coats the entire toy, the magnet holds firmly to the underwear, and the on-toy button is responsive with a noticeable click. The whole form of the toy is flexible and plush for a high-quality feel – it’s just that the motor’s too weak.

The Moxie+ is solidly built. The body is nearly identical to the original We-Vibe Moxie – a smooth silicone coating over a firm core, with a moderate-strength magnet holding it to your underwear. The on-toy button is the older We-Vibe design, harder to press than the buttons on newer toys but still workable.
