In the next sections, I’ll cover the Foxy’s vibration power and rumbliness in-depth.

Here’s the main conclusion:

The OhMiBod Foxy’s clit stimulation is just decent – strong on paper, but its straight, fairly heavy body doesn’t deliver that power to your clit well. The motor is strong, the rumbliness is average, and the stimulation area slips out of position too easily for steady contact. I can’t orgasm with it hands-free, like I can with the Lovense Ferri.

Like all egg vibrators, the We-Vibe Jive 2 only stimulates your G-spot – not your clit. For clit stimulation, a panty vibrator is the better type of wearable for you. See all our recommendations for the best panty vibrators here.

An egg vibrator is a good option if:

1. You enjoy internal vibrations, G-spot pressure, or fullness on its own. (Many people need clit stimulation to orgasm, but internal stimulation can still feel good and be great foreplay.)
2. You plan to pair it with clit stimulation from something else.

I can’t orgasm even with our strongest G-spot vibrator alone, but when I pair it with clitoral stimulation, it makes my orgasms feel more full.

The OhMiBod Foxy’s clit motor reaches a strong top power of 8.5 out of 10 with only a few panty vibes, like the Lovense Ferri and the NS Novelties Techno Lucy, hitting higher top powers. But the Foxy’s design doesn’t transfer that strength to your clit as well as other panty vibrators.

Across its seven power levels, the Foxy spans a wide range – a gentle 1 out of 10 at the bottom rising gradually to that strong 8.5 top. So its vibrations cover good warmup levels, moderate settings, and strong levels for the finish.

But the vibrations only transfer well to your clit when you situate it just right. The toy is straight, fairly heavy, and has a large rounded bumpout near the clit end. So it tends to pull down in my underwear or roll off slightly to the side, so the bumpout (the part in contact with your clit) slips off the ideal spot. Though it stays near or partially in contact with my clit. For me, it’s most consistent when I’m sitting up in bed and not moving around much.

But the lack of the more direct, consistent clit contact means it doesn’t feel quite strong enough to me, and I can’t orgasm with it hands-free like I can with the Lovense Ferri or VeDO Niki.

We rate panty vibrators with rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because most people prefer them. But plenty of people enjoy buzzy vibes too, so this is up to your personal preference.

The Foxy isn’t particularly rumbly. Like almost all panty vibrators I’ve tested, it’s centered in the moderately buzzy frequency range – the Lovense Ferri sits in the same place, so neither is rumbly.

Its lowest power level is moderately rumbly at 66 Hz, but that’s the warmup setting – too gentle for the rumbliness to come through in any meaningful way. From there, frequency climbs as power does: the Foxy is moderately buzzy through the middle of its range at around 99 Hz, and extremely buzzy at 122 Hz on its top setting. And because the Foxy’s transfer is inconsistent, you’ll likely spend most of your time on the upper, buzzy settings to feel enough power.

If rumbly vibrations are what you want from a panty vibe, the VeDO Niki is the only panty vibrator I’ve tested with a deep, rumbly motor.

Like all panty vibrators, the OhMiBod Foxy only stimulates your clit – not your G-spot. Since most women need clit stimulation to orgasm, a panty vibrator is often the right type of wearable. Here’s the main conclusion: the Jive 2 is one of the strongest, most rumbly G-spot egg vibrators we’ve tested. Vibration transfer is outstanding – tied with the Lovense Lush 2, Lush 3, and Lush 4 for the most effective of any egg vibrator we’ve tested. The power range is wide, and rumbliness is second only to the VeDO Kiwi – a more more affordable alt with a worse remote and less G-spot pressure.

The We-Vibe Jive 2 has excellent vibration power, includes a gentle start, and its shape transfers the vibes to my G-spot effectively.

Its among the strongest egg vibrators we’ve tested, reaching a 9.0 out of 10 top power when controlled from the remote or on-toy button. It’s stronger than the Jive Lite and the original Jive. Only a small handful of egg vibrators (like the Lovense Lush family) reach a higher top power. The 15 power levels accessible from the remote span a wide range, starting gentle enough for warmup and climbing in gradual increments to the strong end.

One frustrating quirk is that the app has a bug where you can’t reach the toy’s actual top setting from the app – you only have the full power range from the remote. The top strength in the app is 84% of the motor’s true strength.

The vibration transfer to my G-spot is excellent, tied with the Lovense Lush 2, Lush 3, and Lush 4 for the most effective of any egg vibrator we’ve tested (We-Vibe re-designed the shape to match the Lush line more closely).

The contoured, bulbous shape applies good pressure to the G-spot and holds the motor in firm contact with the front wall, so strength isn’t lost between the motor and your body. And the rumbliness helps the vibrations travel even more effectively for a very stimulating feel.

The We-Vibe Jive 2 has great rumbliness.

For G-spot stimulation, rumbly vibrations matter more than they do for clitoral. With clit vibrators, you’re placing the vibe directly on a highly sensitive area. But G-spot vibrations have to travel farther through tissue to reach more nerve-rich regions, and lower-frequency rumbly vibrations travel through your body much more effectively.

I’ve found that above 120 Hz, even a strong motor’s power tends to dissipate without feeling as impactful on my G-spot. Below that, the motor’s strength translates well to what you actually feel – and the Jive 2 stays under that 120 Hz across its entire range, even at the top setting.

The lowest setting is extremely rumbly at 28 Hz, which makes for a deep, gentle warmup. And the middle of the range is still moderately rumbly. Like almost all vibrators, the frequency rises as power climbs, and on the top setting the Jive 2 reaches 103 Hz, which is moderately buzzy, but still well under that 120 Hz rough threshold. So even at the top buzzy setting, the strong stimulation feels impactful.

The Jive 2’s vibrations also carry a beat-like sensation – a low-frequency “tapping” layered on top of the main vibration frequency, making the overall feeling even more rumbly. It’s most prominent on the lower-to-middle settings and disappears as the vibration wave becomes cleaner on the top settings. But it makes those settings with the “beat” really enjoyable.

In the next sections, I’ll cover the OhMiBod Remote app’s close-range features, long-distance features, and connectivity in-depth.

The OhMiBod app is pretty good, sitting a tier below Lovense and Satisfyer, but much better than We-Vibe.

Its connectivity is excellent – nearby Bluetooth and long-distance modes hold a solid connection on par with Lovense’s. But the features themselves are clunky and don’t provide as much customization as the better apps.

The Lovense Ferri is a better panty vibrator if you want the best app.

In the next sections, I’ll cover the We-Vibe app’s close-range features, long-distance features, and connectivity in detail.

Here’s the main conclusion: The We-Vibe app is buggy and bad. It’s way behind Lovense’s app (the best app-controlled brand).

In close-range there’s ongoing bugs that affect several products, including the Jive 2. The controls often freeze and the app caps the intensity to about 84% of the Jive 2’s true top strength, among other issues. Long-distance control has a bug that often blocks you from connecting at all.

If app control matters to you, go with the Lovense Lush 4 (if you like a fuller-feeling egg) or Lovense Lush Mini (if you like a slimmer egg for better comfort). The Lovense app is the best with outstanding features and connectivity.

The OhMiBod Remote app’s close-range features are usable but unintuitive. The basics all work, but they’re poorly labeled, split across more screens than they need to be, and don’t have the polish of Lovense’s or Satisfyer’s apps. The Lovense Ferri is better if you want the best app.

The biggest drawback is constant intensity control – the thing people often use the most. Setting a steady vibration is spread across three different screens, each with its own quirks:

Rhythm Screen is the preset-pattern selector, and constant power is buried in there as one of the patterns. You’d never find it on your own – it’s listed last, and oddly named “Ludicrous.” Once you do find it, you adjust intensity using your phone’s volume buttons rather than an on-screen control. The lowest volume positions don’t vibrate at all, and the volume bar disappears off screen after a moment, so a partner controlling my toy can’t easily glance over to see what they’ve set the power to.

Tap Screen provides a button that sends a constant pulse for as long as you hold it. To use it as a steady setting, you have to hold the button down for a long stretch, then let go and live with the small pause baked into the resulting loop. There’s an intensity slider labeled with a turtle-and-hare icon, which makes it look like it controls speed – but it controls power. (And a quirk: power resets to full every time you start a new tap, so if you wanted to tap a gentle pattern you can’t – you have to tap it out at full power and drop the intensity afterward.)

Touch Screen gives you a grid with an on-screen dot you drag around to control the vibrations. Dragging left or right adjusts intensity; dragging up or down adjusts speed. It’s not a true constant vibration – it’s a wobble that smooths into something close to steady on the fast-speed end. There’s no axis labeling the grid, just the same turtle-and-hare icon, so you have to figure out which axis does which by experimenting.

All three reach a working result, and once you’ve spent enough time with the app you can pick the one that matches what you want. But the better apps just give you a simple intuitive screen for controlling the power.

The other preset patterns include 6 options – with names like “The Moon” and “Club,” which tell you nothing about what they feel like. There are no waveform previews the way Lovense and Satisfyer show you, so the only way to learn the patterns is to try them all and remember which is which. Intensity is again adjusted with your phone’s volume buttons.

Pattern creation is limited to the Tap Screen – you tap out a rhythm and the app loops it back. There’s no waveform-drawing the way Lovense’s loop creation or Satisfyer’s Live Control let you, so anything that isn’t a series of pulses can’t be built here – no gradual ramps or smooth waves. You can save a tapped pattern to a Favorites list and pull it up again later.

You can connect and control multiple OhMiBod toys at the same time, but the toys aren’t independent – they vibrate in sync. So you can’t play the toys at different intensities or patterns.

OhMiBod’s sound-reactive mode, called Club Vibe, is strong. The toy reacts to ambient sound through the phone’s mic, with two adjustable sliders: one for sensitivity (how loud a sound has to be before the toy responds). And one for intensity (how strong the vibrations get when it does respond). It works as intended with a small caveat: at the very lowest intensity, the toy makes a high-pitched hissing noise without producing real vibrations. I can skip over this in other modes, but I can’t really control it in Club Vibe since it’s noise-responsive.

You can also sync to music through your Spotify account with the Music Vibes mode. It’s fine, but doesn’t follow the music that closely.

There’s a couple other features that don’t feel that helpful like Pulse mode that pairs the toy with an Apple Watch’s heart-rate monitor and an Oh!Dometer that just let’s you log your orgasms.

Everything works, it’s just clunky. For a better experience, consider the Lovense Ferri.

The We-Vibe app’s close-range features are weak because the app is so buggy. If it worked properly, it would be a decent option for simple intensity control and preset patterns. But the current experience is frustrating.

The main controls are Single Vibe and Multi Vibe. Both let you drag an on-screen dot up or down to adjust intensity. Multi Vibe also lets you assign preset patterns to four corners, so you can quickly switch between steady vibration and a few favorite patterns without digging through menus. The design is simple and convenient in theory.

But several newer We-Vibe toys, including the Jive 2, have bugs on these screens. Even when the app shows 100% power, the Jive 2 only reaches about 84% of the strength that you’d get from the remote or on-toy button. The strongest app setting still feels good, but you need the remote for the toy’s true top power. The control dot also sometimes freezes or stops responding.

There are 10 preset patterns you can choose from in Single or Multi Vibe mode, each with a name and waveform icon. Some are easy to understand, like Pulse and Wave, while others are less clear. There’s also a Playlist feature for stringing patterns together, but you can’t feel what you’re building as you make it, so it’s mostly guesswork.

Custom pattern creation is poor. It’s hidden several taps away, and you can’t feel the pattern while drawing it. You have to draw the waveform, save and name it, return to the control screen, select it, and only then test how it feels. The patterns are also limited by your screen width, so they come out short and choppy. My partner’s pattern played, but mine crashed the app on all four attempts.

The sound and music modes are okay. Sound Mode uses your phone’s mic, while Music Mode syncs to songs saved locally on your phone – not Spotify or Apple Music. Both work, but the controls are poorly labeled, and there’s no minimum-volume threshold like Lovense offers, which is helpful in preventing your toy from vibrating until the sounds around you are loud enough.

For close-range play, I’d use the Jive 2’s remote instead of the app. If you want an egg vibrator with excellent app control, the Lovense Lush 4 or Lush Mini are better choices.

The OhMiBod app’s long-distance features are okay, but they take some learning. OhMiBod sits a step below Lovense and Satisfyer here – the basics work, but the features are limited compared to those apps.

Your long-distance partner uses the same Rhythm, Tap, and Touch control screens you’d use for close-range play, with all the same workarounds and quirks discussed in the previous section.

The OhMiBod app does have one nice bonus over Lovense during long-distance play: during a video call, both partners share an on-screen intensity slider for your toy, which means you can also adjust your own toy’s power instead of relying only on your partner, which is rare in an app.

The trade-off is that your partner can immediately undo whatever you just set, since the app has no built-in handoff mode. And between two people controlling intensity, there’s not much clarity for the controlling partner on where power is at.

The video call experience itself is great. Starting a call is easy – your partner sends a request, you get a clear notification and accept. The video quality is good on decent internet, the toy controls sit in a small panel at the bottom of the screen that doesn’t crowd the view of your partner, and locking your phone or backgrounding the app doesn’t drop the call.

Controlling while messaging is rougher. Chat threads are easy to follow and you can send photos – but not video clips or voice notes. There are no privacy features for shared media (like preventing screenshots), and you can only send a message while you’re actively controlling your partner’s toy. You can’t send a flirty message for them to see when they hop on the app.

The controls split awkwardly during chat sessions, too: the controlling partner selects the pattern but the wearer adjusts intensity via their phone’s volume buttons, leaving them with no on-screen indication of what intensity the toy is at.

Only one partner can connect a toy. If you both have OhMiBod toys, you cannot each control the other person’s toy like you can in Lovense’s or Satisfyer’s apps.

If long-distance partnered play is the main reason you’re shopping for a panty vibrator, the Lovense Ferri is a better choice, but OhMiBod’s app is decent for occasional long-distance play.

The We-Vibe app’s long-distance features are too buggy to recommend. The design is decent in theory, but persistent connection and control issues make long-distance play unreliable. If long-distance control matters, the Lovense Lush 4 or Lush Mini are much better choices.

Long-distance control is supposed to work like close-range control. Your partner gets the same Single Vibe, Multi Vibe, and Touch screens to control your Jive 2, and you can control their toy the same way. You can also take back control of your own toy mid-session without ending the call, which is a useful feature.

But the same close-range bugs carry over. Your partner still can’t reach the Jive 2’s full power from the app, and the control dot sometimes freezes or stops responding.

Long-distance has extra bugs. Most importantly, both partners often show as “offline” even when you’re both in the app, which can prevent you from starting a session at all.

Even when it does connect, starting a video call is clunky. You have to send and accept four separate requests: the call, camera access, control of your toy, and control of theirs. The video feed is blurry and choppy compared to Lovense.

Chat works as a basic messenger, with text, photos, voice notes, and video clips. We-Vibe does let you save multiple partners, but it doesn’t offer Lovense’s anonymous one-time control links or auto-accept settings for trusted partners.

For long-distance play, the Lovense Lush 4 or Lush Mini are far better egg vibrators – and they cost less.

The OhMiBod Remote app’s connectivity is excellent – reliable in both nearby Bluetooth and long-distance modes.

For nearby play, the Foxy auto-connects fast. There’s no toy-selection screen in the app. Just turn the toy on, open the app, and your phone pairs to it automatically. The one tradeoff: if you and a partner are both trying to use OhMiBod toys in the same room, the lack of a selection screen can cause mix-ups about which phone connects to which toy. For most people that won’t come up, and the auto-connect just feels seamless.

Once connected, the Foxy’s connection holds through normal phone behavior like locking the phone, backgrounding the app, and swiping through other apps. Commands reliably go through. And on the rare occasion the signal does drop (like you walk too far away), the app reconnects automatically as soon as the signal is clear again. There’s one small caveat: if a “Play Remotely” prompt pops up while the toy is out of range, don’t tap it – that breaks the auto-reconnection. If you tap it by accident, closing and reopening the app reliably fixes things.

The Foxy is also stable through body interference: when a partner controls the toy from across the room at an angle with you between their phone and the toy, water-rich body tissue dampens Bluetooth signals. Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively harder positions (and is harsher than real use), and the Foxy holds a stable connection at all three, including the most severe angle.

We also tested Bluetooth range by separating the phone from the Foxy until the connection dropped. It stayed connected until about 340 feet in our test (your own results may vary depending on obstructions – we test with a clear line of sight).

Long-distance connectivity is also excellent. As long as both partners’ internet or cell signal is decent, the long-distance session stays live. The OhMiBod app handles the messy parts of real-life phone behavior gracefully – locking your phone, briefly switching to another app, or swapping between Wi-Fi and cell data don’t drop the session, even during a long distance call. Commands keep going through reliably.

The one downside is that starting a long-distance video call has a bug, but it’s easy to work around. The flow asks the receiving partner to tap accept twice – first to allow toy control, then to accept the video call itself – and if they tap both prompts too quickly, the video call fails to start. Waiting a couple of seconds between the two taps works reliably, but it’s the kind of thing your partner has to remember each time. Long-distance messaging sessions without video don’t have this issue.

The We-Vibe app’s connectivity with the Jive 2 is poor in close range and broken in long distance. The issue isn’t the Bluetooth signal – it’s the app.

The Jive 2’s Bluetooth hardware is fine. It has excellent range and handles body interference well. But the app causes unreliable reconnection, missed commands, and long-distance bugs that make it unusable. If app control is a priority, the Lovense Lush 4 or Lush Mini are much more reliable.

Initial pairing is simple. Once you add the Jive 2 to the app, it usually reconnects in two taps with no on-toy action needed. This works fine if you use one phone and only have one or two We-Vibe toys.

The problems start if you switch between several We-Vibe toys or connect the same toy to multiple phones. Then quick-connect can fail, and the fix often requires deleting the toy from the app, forgetting it in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and pairing it again.

Reconnection during play is inconsistent. If the signal drops and returns within 10-20 seconds, the app usually reconnects automatically. But during that gap, the app may still look connected, so your partner can be “controlling” the toy while nothing is actually happening. If you’re out of range longer, you may need to reconnect manually, sometimes by holding the on-toy button – awkward if you’re wearing it.

Even when the connection holds, commands often miss. On the Single Vibe and Multi Vibe screens, the toy may not respond when you drag the control dot, or it may freeze up completely. These misses are intermittent, but frequent enough that I don’t trust the app.

The Jive 2 holds up to body interference well. Our test simulates nearby partner control where your body sits at three increasingly difficult angles, between the phone and toy. Many wearables lose connection at the hardest angle because water-rich body tissue weakens Bluetooth more than walls or clothes. The Jive 2 stayed connected through all three. Its open-air range was also excellent at 275 feet.

Long-distance play is more problematic than the close range issues. Both partners often show as “offline” even when they’re in the app, preventing sessions from starting at all. When sessions do connect, control commands often stop affecting the toys. Both bugs happen regularly, and there’s no reliable fix.

For dependable app connectivity in close-range or long-distance play, the Lovense Lush 4 or Lush Mini are better choices.

The OhMiBod Foxy doesn’t include a physical remote control. A remote lets you adjust the toy by feel – without pulling out your phone. Though there’s other downsides like less depth and no visual feedback to help your partner know what your toy’s doing. The Jive 2’s remote features are great.

One of the best aspects is that the power and pattern controls are separate. There’s dedicated + and − buttons to move forward and backward through 15 power levels. And pressing and holding either button helps you reach a higher or lower setting faster.

There’s forward and backward buttons to move through the 6 vibration patterns. So I never have to cycle past patterns to reach a power level or vice versa – many remotes put power and patterns on the same loop. And you can raise and lower the intensity of each pattern.

The remote itself is comfortable to hold. It’s small and silicone-coated sitting naturally in my hand. And the buttons are raised enough that I can feel which is which without looking – this kind of eyes-free operation can be a practical advantage of a remote over an app.

Like most remotes, the Jive 2’s remote just blinks when a button is pressed – there’s no way for the partner holding it to tell what setting your toy is on. It’s not a huge deal, especially if you’re often the one controlling your own toy. But for a controlling partner, it can feel less engaging than an app’s visual feedback.

The Jive 2’s remote connectivity is outstanding. Body interference doesn’t faze the remote’s signal.

When a partner is controlling a wearable, your body sits in the path between the remote and the toy – and water-rich body tissue weakens Bluetooth and RF signals. Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively challenging angles.

With the Jive 2, the remote holds a stable connection through all three. Because our test runs harsher than typical real-world conditions, partner-controlled play with the remote should stay reliable in practice.

Button presses register instantly – the toy reacts the moment my finger leaves the button, keeping the rhythm of play intact. There’s effectively no reconnection routine either: a quick press of any button wakes the remote when it’s been idle. If you go out of range, it reconnects automatically when you come back into range.

The remote also reached about 125 feet in our open-air range test – measured with clear line-of-sight and no body interference. That’s longer than most wearable remotes I’ve tested. While real-world range will be shorter once objects and body interference come in, there’s plenty of margin.

Like most panty vibrators, the Foxy’s on-toy controls are limited by design – the toy sits inside your underwear during use, so you’ll typically rely on the app.

A single button cycles through three steady power levels and two vibration patterns. The full seven-level power range only lives in the app. The trimmed-down three levels available from the button is actually a helpful choice for rare occasions you use the on-toy button (like if you want to use it like a handheld toy). It keeps you from clicking through a long string of settings to find the intensity you want. The two patterns mixed into the loop is something most people don’t want, but with only five settings, it’s still quick to tap through.

The button is well-placed: easy to feel without looking, and sits away from the plush bumpout. So while pressing it while wearing does push the toy against your vulva, the pressure is distributed more broadly and closer to the vagina, so it stays comfortable.

The on-toy button works fine as a backup, but the app is the main way you’ll use the Foxy.

Like most wearable vibrators, the Jive 2’s on-toy controls are limited. Once the toy is in use, you’ll typically reach for the remote rather than the on-toy button unless you’re using it like a handheld vibe on your clit.

A single button cycles through 4 power levels and 6 vibration patterns on the same loop, with no way to step backward. To drop back to a lower power you have to click past every remaining pattern to get there. With 4 power levels covering the full range, the cycle is at least short enough for occasional use.

The button placement is good, sitting at the end of the antenna, so unlike eggs whose button is on the egg portion itself, you don’t have to remove the Jive 2 to press it if needed.

The raised texture is easy to find by feel, the subtle click confirms each press, and the newer We-Vibe button design is broader and more comfortable than the older Jives – though it still takes a touch more effort to push than the Lovense eggs’ buttons.

The on-toy button works fine for starting and stopping the toy or occasional handheld use but the remote is the main way you’ll use the Jive 2.

The Foxy stays securely in place in bed, while walking around it just requires readjusting at times, but it shifts a lot more during heavy movement like running or jumping.

The strong, large magnet holds clipped to my underwear – I don’t ever feel like it’s going to fall off. It locks enough of the body to your underwear that the toy doesn’t swivel too much side-to-side either.

In bed, the Foxy stays where the magnet is secured. The toy jostles a bit with the underwear as I shift, but the bumpout keeps good clitoral contact in bed where you’re not moving around much.

The Foxy moves around a bit more when you’re walking causing the bumpout to move off the ideal spot on my clit. The bumpout is pretty large, so it’s always maintaining contact somewhere fairly near my clit, but I have to adjust to keep it in a great spot.

Heavy activity is where the toy’s weight really starts working against it. The magnet itself doesn’t slip, but the toy is heavy enough to pull the underwear down a bit during bigger movements like jumping, running, or dancing, and the bump shifts around. The long, straight design doesn’t contour to the body for consistent, close contact.

Curved panty vibrators like the VeDO Niki(remote-controlled) and NS Novelties Techno Lucy(app-controlled) stay in better clit contact while moving.

Like most egg vibrators, the Jive 2 fits exceptionally securely whether you’re in bed, walking around, or doing heavier activity. The secure fit is an advantage of egg vibrators over other kinds of wearable vibrators – once inserted, an egg’s bulbous shape tends to hold it easily in place without the need for any adjustable mechanism.

On adjustability, We-Vibe markets the Jive 2 as having an “adjustable tail” – a term they usually use for their products that have hinges (like the We-Vibe Chorus, Chorus Pro, and Sync 2) allowing you to change the shape to fit your body better and hold that customized position.

However, I’d consider it flexible, not adjustable. The antenna has some flex, which is really all it needs. But you can’t adjust the antenna’s angle/position permanently. I reached out to We-Vibe and they confirmed it’s just flexible.

The Foxy is comfortable in bed, but the bumpout takes some getting used to when walking.

The Foxy’s bump is one of the more comfortable nub-style designs I’ve tested because it’s plush. The body itself isn’t really flexible, but the bumpout has nice cushioning, and a bit wider than most. So the pressure spreads out more evenly rather than concentrating into one spot, and the plushness helps it feel comfortable against my body – much better than the OhMiBod Club Vibe 3.OH’s firm nub.

When I’m walking, it shifts, and the amount of pressure it applies against my clit varies – sometimes a gentle press, sometimes firmer, which some people may find uncomfortable. If you prefer a more blanketed, consistent feel against your clit, a broader panty vibrator like the NS Novelties Techno Lucy or the VeDO Niki is a more comfortable pick.

The Jive 2 is reasonably comfortable, but the wider, G-spot-targeted shape is more noticeable during light activity than slimmer eggs.

The egg portion is thicker than my most comfortable eggs like the Lovense Lush Mini and other small options. The Jive 2’s extra girth provides the firm front-wall contact and pressure that helps it feel more stimulating, but it also makes it a bit less comfortable.

It stretches a little going in and out, and once inserted gives a feeling of fullness that’s most noticeable when you’re moving or bending forward. For me, this means I have to wear it only for shorter periods because it presses on my bladder.

But everything else is comfortable – the angled antenna sits pretty flush against my body (not jostling around uncomfortably as flimsy antennas do). Though it’s angled antenna isn’t quite as comfy as fully curved antennas like the Lush Mini’s. The silicone is smooth all over, and there are no spots that pinch.

When walking around, the antenna applies more pressure against my clit than it does in bed, so I make occasional adjustments, which often helps.

If you prefer a more comfortable egg overall – especially if you’re sensitive to too much girth or internal pressure, try the Lovense Lush Mini. It’s smaller, so it’s more comfortable, without sacrificing any power.

The OhMiBod Foxy has quiet decibel readings, but it did worse than many wearables I’ve tested in our Background Noise Masking subtest.

Decibel readings on both low and high power were extremely quiet. The ambient room noise was 35 dBA, and our Sound Level Meter measured the Foxy at just 37.6 dBA on high – quieter than many vibrators, but decibel levels are only a part of the story.

For our Background Noise Masking subtest, I wear the toy while my partner listens from three feet away and we play pink noise through a speaker at quiet, moderate, and loud volumes (56, 62, and 68 dBA). At our quietest audio (56 dBA of pink noise), my partner could hear the Foxy at every vibration power

When wearing it, the lowest power had a distinct grating quality, that made it more noticeable. When I was sitting still, my partner couldn’t hear the middle power, but as I walked around, an occasional rattling sound came through. The high power was actually the cleanest of the three – just a hum that almost blended into background noise. Once we stepped the pink noise up to our moderate level (62 dBA) every vibration power was masked.

For our closed-bedroom-door test, my partner stands directly outside the bedroom while I use the toy in bed. He couldn’t hear the Foxy at all from the other side of the door on any power level.

The Jive 2 is in the most-discreet group of wearable vibrators I’ve tested.

Decibel readings on low and high power were extremely quiet, too quiet for our Sound Level Meter to pick up on – the ambient room noise was 35 dBA, and the Jive 2 never measured higher than this.

For our Background Noise Masking subtest, I wear the toy while my partner listens from three feet away and we play pink noise through a speaker at quiet, moderate, and loud volumes (56, 62, and 68 dBA). But keep in mind, every wearable I’ve tested, including the Jive 2, is audible in a fully silent room with no pink noise playing – no matter how gentle and quiet the vibrations are.

For the closed-door subtest, my partner listens directly outside our bedroom door while I use the toy in bed. For this test, I use it like a handheld toy since wearing dampens sound and some people will want to use it clitorally; holding the toy instead of wearing it gives us the most conservative results. He couldn’t hear the Jive 2 at any power level. When I’m wearing it, I can barely hear it myself.

One thing worth knowing is that most egg vibrators I’ve tested are similarly discreet, including the Lovense Lush 4 and VeDO Kiwi. So for choosing an egg vibrator, other factors like stimulation, comfort, and remote or app experience are more important to consider.

The Foxy lasted 55 minutes at its highest power during our testing – short for a panty vibrator in this price range. Since you’ll use the Foxy’s lower and middle settings too, your actual runtime will be longer. But for long sessions, the Lovense Ferri is a better panty vibrator – it lasted 168 minutes in our test, about three times the Foxy’s runtime.

The We-Vibe Jive 2’s battery is outstanding. It lasted 165 minutes continuously running on its highest power during our test. The only eggs that run longer, like the Svakom Phoenix Neo 2 (258 minutes) and the Kiiroo Spot (195 minutes), are weaker than the Jive 2.

The OhMiBod Foxy is easy to clean. It’s IPX7 waterproof, so you can rinse it under a faucet or fully submerge it without worrying about water damage. OhMiBod doesn’t have the IPX rating listed on the Foxy’s product page, but we reached out by email and they confirmed it has an IPX7 rating.

The Foxy feels well-built. The body is covered in smooth silicone with a small plush portion that feels luxurious.

The Jive 2 feels well-built. Its smooth silicone shell over a firm core feels solid in the hand, and the redesigned antenna is thicker, wider, more strongly angled inward, and noticeably less flimsy-feeling than on the original Jive and the Jive Lite. Nothing has rattled, loosened, or shown wear in our testing.
