The We-Vibe Sync 2 is one of the few couples vibrators that reliably brings me to orgasm hands-free during sex.

It still takes more effort than my favorite handheld vibrators (like the Lovense Hyphy), but that’s true of every hands-free couples vibe: handhelds have bigger, stronger motors, and give you more control over placement and the ability to press as firmly as you want.

What makes the Sync 2 work for me anyway is its adjustable hinge. It lets me customize the shape to my body so the external motor stays in secure, consistent contact with my clit. It’s worth taking a minute to adjust the angle – when it’s opened too wide, the stimulation feels weaker, but once I dial in a tighter angle, I get a secure, stimulating fit that consistently brings me to orgasm hands-free.

Entry-level models (like the Romp Join, We-Vibe Sync Lite, and Sync Go) and even other brands’ premium models (like the Lelo Tiani 3) do not have this hinge – so these models shift off my clit immediately during sex, and I cannot orgasm with them.

But I orgasm reliably with the Sync 2, and I find it just as stimulating as the more expensive We-Vibe Chorus. The Sync 2’s motors are just as powerful as the Chorus’s. The main difference is that the Chorus has an additional hinge for an improved range of customization. While the extra hinge may improve some people’s experience, I personally find one hinge is sufficient.

I orgasm more easily with the Sync 2 during sex than with the comparably-priced We-Vibe Sync O. Because the Sync 2’s and Chorus’s G-spot motors are relatively gentle, I used to think the internal motor didn’t make much of a difference. However, after getting the Sync O (which lacks a motor in the G-spot arm), I’ve realized the motor and pronounced front-wall bump have a meaningful impact.

The added pressure and stimulation from the Sync 2’s bulbous internal arm pressing the vibrations into my G-spot as my partner thrusts helps me orgasm more easily than models without internal motors. But the G-spot arm’s still slim enough for comfortable penetration while wearing it – it adds a little extra tightness, but it’s not too much of a stretch. An egg vibrator is a good option if:
1. You enjoy internal vibrations, G-spot pressure, or fullness on its own. (Many people need clit stimulation to orgasm, but internal stimulation can still feel good and be great foreplay.)
2. You plan to pair it with clit stimulation from something else.

I can’t orgasm from G-spot vibrations alone, but when I pair the Lush Mini with clitoral stimulation, it makes my orgasms feel much more full.

The Sync 2’s clit motor has a broad power range, starting gently and reaching 6.75 out of 10 on high. That’s moderate for wearable vibrators overall, but tied for the strongest hands-free couples vibrator I’ve tested – the Chorus, Sync 2, and original Sync offer nearly identical clit stimulation.

During sex, its strength and fit make it one of only a few couples vibrators I orgasm with easily and reliably. The adjustable hinge keeps the external motor pressed against my clit instead of letting it shift away, so the Sync 2 transfers its power better than most couples vibrators.

For solo wear or wearing around, the clit motor still feels stimulating because the hinge keeps it in decent contact. But without penetration adding pressure it feels only moderate. I’d treat those uses as a nice bonus – if wearable clit stimulation outside sex is your main goal, a stronger panty vibrator is usually a better fit.

Couples vibrators have to stay slim enough for comfortable penetration, so they’re generally less intense than other wearable clit toys like panty vibes and handheld vibrators. Handhelds also let you control exact placement and pressure.

While I orgasm with the Sync 2 hands-free during sex, not everyone will be able to. If you typically need substantial intensity, you may prefer a handheld toy like the Lovense Hyphy or a wand vibrator.

Compared with other couples vibrators the Sync 2 is one of the strongest and most effective. Cheaper couples vibrators like the Romp Join, Sync Lite, and Sync Go – and even premium options like the Lelo Tiani 3 – have weaker vibrations and no adjustable hinge to keep the clit motor positioned well.

We-Vibe’s premium adjustable models are by far the most stimulating couples vibrators I’ve tested, and the Sync 2 is the most affordable current model that reliably works for me.

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because most people prefer vibrations that feel deeper and less surface-level. But this is still a personal preference – many people enjoy buzzier vibrations too.

The Sync 2’s clit motor is unusually rumbly for a wearable. Its lowest setting is extremely rumbly at around 38 Hz, the middle settings stay moderately rumbly, and even the highest setting only becomes neutral, just under 90 Hz. It never crosses into buzzy vibrations. The Chorus Pro, Chorus, and Sync 2 clit motors are all pretty comparably rumbly.

That rumbliness really helps because wearable vibrators have less pressure and placement control than handheld toys. Rumbly vibes travel deeper through your body, which helps the Sync 2 feel more stimulating even though it doesn’t apply as much pressure as I’d normally get from a handheld vibe.

The Lovense Lush Mini has strong G-spot vibrations, a wide power range, and a shape that presses that power right into your G-spot.

Its vibrations are among the strongest of any wearable I’ve tested, reaching 9.5 out of 10 at the top – just shy of the full-size Lovense Lush 4 and its older versions, which top out at 10. That’s a small gap that’s hardly noticeable: the Mini still delivers powerful, focused G-spot stimulation, well above what most egg vibrators manage.

The power range is among the widest I’ve tested, too. You can adjust the intensity continuously through the Lovense app in tiny, comfortable increments – from a gentle 0.6 at the lowest setting, great for warming up, up to that strong 9.5 at full strength.

Just as important, the Lush Mini’s shape and fit transfer that power to my G-spot very effectively. With a wearable you can’t press it harder for more intensity the way you can with a handheld – the toy’s design has to get the motor’s strength to the right spot on its own – and the Mini does this well.

Even though it’s smaller than the full-size Lush, its G-spot-focused bump-out still sits right against my front wall and presses right where I need it. I was actually surprised by how similar the stimulation felt even with a smaller size.

The one stimulation-related difference from the larger models is a slightly less-full feel – the slimmer body doesn’t fill you up quite as much. For me that’s a plus, since I don’t love too much girth, and it doesn’t take anything away from the G-spot stimulation. But if a fuller, girthier feel is more stimulating to you, the Lush 4 would be better for you.

The Sync 2’s G-spot motor is very mild, reaching about 2.75 out of 10 which is normal for hands-free couples vibrators.

It’s much weaker than dedicated G-spot egg vibrators or large dual-stimulation wearables like the Lovense Dolce which are not intended to wear during sex.

The internal arm of a couples vibrator has to be slim enough to leave space for comfortable penetration, so it can’t use a large, powerful motor. Its main job is not to provide intense G-spot vibrations on its own – it’s to anchor the toy and add pressure against the front wall during sex.

On its own, the G-spot motor feels weak and not especially G-spot-focused. But during penetration, the Sync 2’s bulbous internal arm gets pushed more firmly into my G-spot as my partner thrusts, making the stimulation feel much more impactful. That’s why the Sync 2 feels more stimulating to me during sex than clit-only models like the Sync O, even though the G-spot motor itself is mild.

If strong solo G-spot vibration is your priority, I’d choose an egg vibrator like the Lovense Lush 4 or We-Vibe Jive 2 instead. If you’re looking for a couples vibrator to wear during sex, the Sync 2’s bulbous G-spot arm provides the helpful front-wall pressure you want during PIV.

The Lovense Lush Mini has great rumbliness for an egg vibrator.

Rumbliness matters more for a G-spot toy than for a clit toy. A clit vibrator sits right against a super sensitive area, where the nerves are easy to reach. But a G-spot toy has to send its vibrations deeper into your body to reach the sensitive nerves along your front wall. Lower-frequency, rumbly vibrations travel through the body better than buzzy ones.

The Lush Mini starts extremely rumbly on its lowest settings and stays deep through the low and middle settings. Like most vibrators, it gets buzzier as you turn the power up – neutral to buzzy settings on the stronger half. But there’s a lot of strength behind those top settings, so they still feel full and impactful rather than the thin, surface-level buzz you get from a weaker toy.

It’s only slightly less rumbly than the larger Lovense Lush 4, and the difference is not really noticeable when wearing it. Only one egg vibrator I’ve tested is meaningfully more rumbly: the VeDO Kiwi. If the deepest possible rumble is your top priority, the Kiwi is better. But it’s remote-only and is less powerful than the Lush Mini.

The We-Vibe Sync 2’s G-spot vibrations are buzzy – typical for hands-free couples vibrators since the internal motor has to be very small.

While its lowest settings are neutral the middle and higher settings quickly become extremely buzzy, with a median frequency around 155 Hz. When using the Sync 2 for solo stimulation, the buzzy vibrations mean you won’t feel the G-spot stimulation much. Buzzy vibrations don’t travel through your body as effectively, and the G-spot is less sensitive than the clit. So if the vibrations are buzzy, you typically need more power to compensate.

But I don’t consider this a major problem for the Sync 2’s main purpose – stimulating you during sex. When my partner thrusts, the internal arm pushes into my G-spot and that pressure is what makes the stimulation meaningful, while the vibrations only add subtle enhancement.

So if you want strong, rumbly G-spot vibrations on their own, larger egg vibrators are better. But for a couples vibrator worn during sex, the Sync 2’s G-spot arm still adds enough pressure and stimulation to make orgasming easier for me – no couples vibrator’s G-spot arm is strong and rumbly.

Here’s the main conclusion: The We-Vibe app is buggy and bad – far behind Lovense’s app. But for hands-free stimulation during sex, I usually prefer the physical remote or on-toy button anyway. The app is a downside, but not a dealbreaker because We-Vibe still makes the only couples vibrators I reliably orgasm with.

In close-range control, the We-Vibe app has ongoing bugs that affect several products, including the Sync 2. The controls often freeze, and the app caps the intensity to about 73% of the Sync 2’s true top strength. Long-distance control also has a bug that often blocks you from connecting at all.

If app control matters more than hands-free stimulation during sex, go with a Lovense toy instead: the Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, Lovense Lush 4 for G-spot stimulation, or Lovense Dolce for dual-stimulation.

The Lush Mini’s app has the best close-range features of any brand.

On the main Remote screen, you drag a control dot up or down to adjust intensity. Tap Float to hold a steady power level, or Loop to draw a custom pattern that repeats. Since the toy vibrates as you draw, you can feel the pattern in real time instead of creating it blindly and testing it later. If you like what you made, tap Record to save it to My Patterns.

You can also control multiple Lovense toys at once with each motor getting its own dot on the Remote screen. For example, you can pair both the Lovense Ferri (a clit vibrator) and the Lush Mini for simultaneous clit and G-spot stimulation (which I personally prefer over using the dual-stimulation Lovense Dolce). Or you can control your own toy and a nearby partner’s toy at once. We tested four toys simultaneously without issue.

For presets, the My Patterns screen includes Lovense’s default patterns, anything you’ve saved, and patterns downloaded from Lovense’s active community library.

Lovense’s sound-reactive mode is also the best I’ve used. You can set a minimum decibel threshold, so the toy stays quiet until the room gets loud enough, and adjust sensitivity to control how much of the toy’s power range it uses. The live decibel readout makes it easy to calibrate. Many other apps either combine these controls or don’t offer a threshold at all.

The music-sync mode works with Spotify or local files and follows the music well enough for hands-free variation. You can cap the intensity to keep it in your comfortable range.

Lovense also includes a few useful extras: Voice Control, device-to-device control with certain Lovense toys, and per-toy max intensity settings. The intensity cap is helpful if you want to limit noise or prevent a partner from pushing the toy too high.

Overall, the Lovense app’s close-range features are excellent – and still the best of any brand I’ve tested.

The We-Vibe app’s close-range features are weak because the app is so buggy. If it worked properly, it would be a decent option for simple intensity control and preset patterns. But the current experience is frustrating.

The main controls are Single Vibe and Multi Vibe. Both let you drag an on-screen dot up or down to adjust intensity. Multi Vibe also lets you assign preset patterns to four corners, so you can quickly switch between steady vibration and a few favorite patterns without digging through menus. On both screens, you can adjust the clit and G-spot motors together or control them independently. The design is simple and convenient in theory.

But most newer We-Vibe toys, including the Sync 2, have bugs on these screens. Even when the app shows 100% power, the Sync 2 only reaches about 73% of the strength that you’d get from the remote or on-toy button. The strongest app setting still feels good, but you need the remote for the toy’s true top power. The original Sync does not have this bug.

The control dot also sometimes freezes or stops responding – this happens even more often when you try to control the two motors independently.

There are 10 preset patterns you can choose from in Single or Multi Vibe mode, each with a name and waveform icon. Some are easy to understand, like Pulse and Wave, while others are less clear. There’s also a Playlist feature for stringing patterns together, but you can’t feel what you’re building as you make it, so it’s mostly guesswork.

Custom pattern creation is poor. It’s hidden several taps away from the main control screens, and you can’t feel the pattern while drawing it. You have to draw the waveform, save and name it, return to the control screen, select it, and only then test how it feels. The patterns are also limited by your screen width, so they come out short and choppy. My partner’s custom pattern played, but mine crashed the app repeatedly.

The sound and music modes are okay. Sound Mode uses your phone’s mic, while Beat Mode syncs to songs saved locally on your phone – not Spotify or Apple Music. Both work, but the controls are poorly labeled, and there’s no minimum-volume threshold like Lovense offers, which is helpful in preventing your toy from vibrating until the sounds around you are loud enough.

For close-range control, I’d use the Sync 2’s remote instead of the app. If you mainly want excellent app control, Lovense is much better – choose the Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, the Lovense Lush 4 for G-spot stimulation, or the Lovense Dolce for dual stimulation. But none of those are couples vibrators to wear during sex. We-Vibe makes the only good couples vibrators I can orgasm with, so if that’s your goal, the Sync 2 is still worth choosing – I’d just skip the app and use the remote.

Lovense also has the best long-distance experience of any brand, by a wide margin.

During messaging or video calls, your partner gets the same excellent Remote screen used for close-range control. They can set a steady intensity with Float or draw a repeating pattern with Loop, so long-distance control doesn’t feel stripped down. The only small downside is that you can’t control your own toy during a video call – only your partner can.

The video call tools are excellent. Incoming calls are easy to notice and accept, and once you’re in a call, the video feed is clear. You can mute, toggle your camera, switch between front and back cameras, cast audio to a speaker, or end the call. The controls stay out of the way until you tap the screen, and you can move your self-view so it doesn’t block your partner.

The app also handles normal phone use well. You can lock your screen or switch to another app without disrupting the session.

Messaging is equally strong. The thread is easy to follow, and you can send voice notes, photos, and videos from your camera or camera roll. There’s also an optional “burn after reading” feature for one-time viewing that prevents screenshots.

Lovense gives you helpful partner settings too. You can let a trusted partner auto-accept control requests, get a notification when they come online, or hide your online status from specific people. Each partner can have different settings.

Lovense also offers the broadest anonymous and group control options. You can send a one-time control link or create a group link for up to 10 people. When the time runs out, they lose access and can’t request control again.

If long-distance play is the main reason you’re buying a wearable vibrator, Lovense is the best choice.

The We-Vibe app’s long-distance features are too buggy to recommend.

The design is decent in theory, but persistent connection and control issues make long-distance play unreliable. If long-distance control matters there are no good couples vibrators specifically – you’re better off with a different type of wearable. The Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, the Lovense Lush 4 for G-spot stimulation, or the Lovense Dolce for dual stimulation are better long-distance options.

Long-distance control in We-Vibe’s app is supposed to work like close-range control. Your partner gets the same Single Vibe, Multi Vibe, and Touch screens to control your Sync 2, and you can control their toy the same way. You can also take back control of your own toy mid-session without ending the call, which is a useful feature.

But the same close-range bugs carry over. Your partner still can’t reach the Sync 2’s full power from the app, and the control dot sometimes freezes or stops responding.

Long-distance has extra bugs too. Most importantly, both partners often show as “offline” even when you’re both in the app, which prevents you from starting a session at all.

Even when it does connect, starting a video call is clunky. You have to send and accept four separate requests: the call, camera access, control of your toy, and control of theirs. The video feed is blurry and choppy compared to Lovense.

Chat works as a basic messenger, with text, photos, voice notes, and video clips. We-Vibe does let you save multiple partners, but it doesn’t offer Lovense’s anonymous one-time control links or auto-accept settings for trusted partners.

For long-distance play, a Lovense toy like the Ferri, Lush 4, or Dolce is far better, but they don’t have any couples vibrators to wear during sex.

The Lush Mini’s connectivity with the Lovense app is outstanding. It’s still the most reliable app-controlled brand I’ve tested, in both nearby Bluetooth control and long-distance sessions.

Pairing is quick: the very first time you connect, just tap Add Toy, turn the Lush Mini on, and it appears in the app within seconds. After that first setup, it auto-connects as soon as you turn it on with the app open.

Once paired, it stays connected through normal phone use like screen locks, app-switching, and long stretches of inactivity without it dropping. On the rare occasion the signal does drop (say, you walk too far from your phone), it reconnects on its own as soon as you’re back in range, and the app clearly flags a red “Reconnecting…” so a partner controlling your toy is never left guessing whether it’s still working. You can also choose whether the Mini stops or keeps vibrating if the connection drops – handy if you’d rather it go quiet than keep buzzing.

Its Bluetooth range is excellent, too. In our test, it maintained connection up to 365 feet in the open before it dropped – even a touch farther than the full-size Lush 4. Walls and interference will shorten that in normal use, but it’s plenty for a partner to move around freely while controlling your toy nearby.

It also handles body interference very well. Water-rich material like body tissue can weaken Bluetooth more than walls or clothing, which is why some egg vibrators work fine for solo control but drop connection when a partner controls them from certain angles.

Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively harder positions, and the Lush Mini holds a stable connection at all three – so a partner can keep reliable control even with a lot of your body in the way. Plenty of wearables (like the Satisfyer Ribbed Petal) lose the connection at the toughest angle; the Lush Mini doesn’t.

Long-distance connectivity is also excellent. The toy connects to your phone over Bluetooth, and your phone connects to your partner’s phone over Wi-Fi or cell data. Since the Bluetooth connection is strong, long-distance play works well as long as your internet connection is decent. Sessions stay stable, commands go through reliably, and locking your phone or switching apps doesn’t disrupt control.

One quirk: if you start a session on Wi-Fi and then switch to cell data, the first switch can drop control and require a quick re-invite. After that, switching works normally. To avoid this, start the session on cellular data and then you can switch freely between the two.

For nearby or long-distance play, the Lush Mini’s connectivity is very dependable.

The We-Vibe app’s connectivity with the Sync 2 is poor in close range and broken in long distance. The issue isn’t the Bluetooth signal – it’s the app, so it affects all We-Vibe’s couples vibrators including the Chorus, Chorus Pro, Sync O, and others. You’ll want to control the Sync 2 from the remote.

The Sync 2’s Bluetooth hardware is fine. It has reasonable range and handles body interference well. But the app causes unreliable reconnection, missed commands, and long-distance bugs that make long-distance play unusable. If app control is a priority, the Lovense Ferri, Lush 4, or Dolce are much more reliable.

Initial pairing is simple. Once you add the Sync 2 to the app, it usually reconnects in two taps with no on-toy action needed. This works fine if you use one phone and only have one or two We-Vibe toys.

The problems start if you switch between several We-Vibe toys or connect the same toy to multiple phones. Then quick-connect can fail, and the fix often requires deleting the toy from the app, forgetting it in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and pairing it again.

Reconnection during play is inconsistent. If the signal drops and returns within 10-20 seconds, the app usually reconnects automatically. But during that gap, the app may still look connected, so your partner can be “controlling” the toy while nothing is actually happening. If you’re out of range longer, you may need to reconnect manually, sometimes by holding the on-toy button – awkward if you’re wearing it.

Even when the connection holds, commands often miss. On the Single Vibe and Multi Vibe screens, the toy may not respond when you drag the control dot, or it may freeze up completely. These misses are intermittent, but frequent enough that I don’t trust the app.

The Sync 2 holds up to body interference well. Our test simulates nearby partner control where your body sits at three increasingly difficult angles, between the phone and toy. Many wearables lose connection at the hardest angle because water-rich body tissue weakens Bluetooth more than walls or clothes. The Sync 2 stayed connected through all three. Its open-air max range was also fine at 50 feet.

Long-distance play is more problematic than the close range issues. Both partners often show as “offline” even when they’re in the app, preventing sessions from starting at all. When sessions do connect, control commands often stop affecting the toys. Both bugs happen regularly, and there’s no reliable fix.

For dependable app connectivity in close-range or long-distance play, the Lovense Ferri, Lush 4, or Dolce are better choices – but We-Vibe is the only brand with good couples vibrators.

The Lovense Lush Mini doesn’t include a physical remote control. A remote lets you adjust the toy by feel – without pulling out your phone. Though there’s other downsides like less depth and no visual feedback to help your partner know what your toy’s doing. Here’s the main conclusion: the Sync 2’s remote has all the controls you need and works reliably without much body interference. It can become unreliable when too much of your body comes between the toy and remote (like when your partner is controlling your toy from a sharp angle), but that doesn’t actually come into play when you’re controlling the toy yourself or during sex (which is what the Sync 2 is best for).

The We-Vibe Sync 2’s remote features are great.

One of the best aspects is that the power and pattern controls are separate. There’s dedicated + and − buttons to move forward and backward through 11 power levels. And pressing and holding either button helps you reach a higher or lower setting faster.

There’s forward and backward buttons to move through the 6 vibration patterns. So I never have to cycle past patterns to reach a power level or vice versa – many remotes put power and patterns on the same loop. And you can raise and lower the intensity of each pattern.

The remote itself is comfortable to hold. It’s small and silicone-coated sitting naturally in my hand and feels more luxurious than the original Sync’s hard plastic remote. And I also find its smaller size more comfortable to hold than the Chorus’s and Chorus Pro’s larger remotes. And the buttons are raised enough that I can feel which is which without looking – this kind of eyes-free operation can be a practical advantage of a remote over an app.

Like most remotes, the Sync 2’s remote just blinks when a button is pressed – there’s no way for the partner holding it to tell what setting your toy is on. It’s not a huge deal, especially if you’re often the one controlling your own toy. But for a controlling partner, it can feel less engaging than an app’s visual feedback.

The Sync 2’s remote connectivity is decent. It’s good when controlling it yourself or during sex. But more clicks don’t go through when body interference comes into play, which can happen more when a partner controls your toy while you’re wearing it around.

The remote’s signal can become unreliable when too much of your body sits between the controller and the toy – RF and Bluetooth signals are affected by water-rich materials like your body. Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively challenging angles, and it’s intentionally more conservative than actual use.

The Sync 2 missed occasional commands in the first position, but but started having more frequent misses in the other two positions. This is one area where the We-Vibe Chorus is better than the Sync 2. The Chorus’s remote held a stable connection without dropping any commands under body interference.

But this doesn’t really happen when controlling the Sync 2 yourself or during sex (what this toy’s best for), where the remote is very close to you and there’s a pretty clear shot from the remote to the toy. It’s more likely to come up if your partner controls it while you’re wearing it around, especially from an awkward angle where more of your body sits between the remote and the toy.

Button presses register with barely any delay – the toy reacts as soon as I release the button, so adjustments feel responsive. There’s effectively no reconnection routine either: a quick press of any button wakes the remote when it’s been idle. If you go out of range, it reconnects automatically when you come back into range.

The remote reached about 38 feet in our open-air range test, measured with clear line-of-sight and no body interference. That’s shorter than many wearable remotes we’ve tested, but it still easily covers same-room use.

Like most wearable vibrators, the Lush Mini’s on-toy controls are limited by design – you’ll mostly control it through the app. But the Mini has some of the better on-toy controls because you can customize its three on-toy intensity presets from the app’s “Adjust Levels” screen, so even though the button only offers 3 intensity settings, the levels it cycles through can be the ones you actually like to use.

Pressing the button cycles forward through three power levels and four patterns on one shared loop. You can’t step backward, so dropping to a lower power means clicking past the remaining levels and patterns. I’d rather the patterns weren’t in there – most people don’t use them, and they just add clicks when you’re stepping through the power levels.

The button itself is excellent. It sits on the tip of the antenna, so it stays reachable while you’re wearing the Lush Mini, and it’s raised enough to find by feel with a firm, satisfying click. And thankfully, the button is external – unlike eggs that put the button on the body, you never have to pull the Mini out to press it.

Like most hands-free couples vibrators, the Sync 2’s on-toy controls are basic since many people will use the remote (or app if it worked well).

A single button cycles through 4 power levels and 6 vibration patterns on the same loop. To drop back to a lower power you have to click past the remaining patterns to get there. With 4 power levels covering the full range, the cycle is short enough for occasional use.

The button itself is easy to find and press: it’s visible, has a distinct feel, and sits on the external arm so you don’t have to remove the toy to adjust it. Pressing it pushes the toy more firmly against my body, but the wider button design keeps it comfortable enough.

While the controls are limited, I actually like using the on-toy button during sex. It’s nice to just reach between my legs and click when I’m warmed up and ready for more intensity, rather than setting the remote down somewhere nearby and finding it again when I want to change settings.

The Lush Mini fits extremely securely whether you’re in bed, walking around, or doing heavier activity.

Once you insert it, it guides itself into place and stays there unless you tug it out with intentional force – just as the full-size Lush models do. A secure fit is an advantage egg vibrators have over other kinds of wearable vibrators: an egg’s bulbous shape holds it easily in place on its own, without the need for any adjustable mechanism.

In bed, rolling and shifting positions it doesn’t budget at all. Walking, stairs, and normal movement around the house didn’t make it pull down with gravity either. Even when I jumped up and down, it stayed put unless I tugged it out intentionally.

While you can wear the Sync 2 around, it’s best thought of as a bonus. It stays put in bed and through light movement, but it’s less secure than wearables designed specifically to wear around.

The Sync 2 has one adjustable hinge near the base of the clitoral arm, letting you change the angle to better fit your body. For me, this makes a huge difference and is essential for a C-shaped couples vibrator to fit securely. Options without an adjustable hinge – like the Romp Join, We-Vibe Sync Lite, Sync Go, and Lelo’s Tiani line – shift off my clit easily or even fall out when I move.

In bed, the Sync 2 stays where I want it through normal shifting and rolling, though the C-shaped half-in, half-out design just feels more precarious than other wearables.

When walking around the movement isn’t too much and clothes help hold it in place. I am able to walk around, go up and down stairs and do light activity without it shifting around or feeling like it’s falling out and I don’t need to make adjustments.

But heavier movement can be too much for the shape. After jumping a bit, I had to push it back up into me as it had mostly wiggled out, only held from falling by my underwear and pants.

If you mainly want something to wear around, I’d look at an egg vibrator or magnetic panty vibrator instead. Egg vibrators stay anchored more securely because their internal arms are larger and more bulbous. While magnetic panty vibrators like the Lovense Ferri keep the clit motor fixed to your underwear. The Sync 2 is the right pick to use during sex; those are better picks for wearing around.

The Lovense Lush Mini is the most comfortable egg vibrator I’ve worn, whether I’m in bed or moving around the house – one of the main reasons it’s my personal favorite.

It’s smaller than other models, which is the biggest reason it’s comfortable. The slimmer shape doesn’t cause the same fullness and bladder pressure that the bigger Lush models and other eggs like the We-Vibe Jive 2 do. These can feel a bit more restrictive when sitting upright, bending forward, or walking up stairs.

I can wear the Mini comfortably for much longer sessions, in bed or up and going about my day.

The external antenna helps, too. It’s the same curved, form-fitting design as the Lush 4 – it hugs the body instead of sticking out, so it rests comfortably near my clit without tapping it, and I never have to reach down to adjust it as I move.

If you’d rather have a fuller, girthier feel, the larger Lush 4 can be better. But the Lush Mini is my personal favorite specifically because I find it so comfortable.

The We-Vibe Sync 2 is an extremely comfortable C-shaped couples vibrator, whether in bed or while walking around.

Because of its adjustable hinge, it fits snugly enough to stay tight to my body, but it does not pinch, poke, or press so hard that I want to take it out. Since it fits snug in bed, it doesn’t tap my clit uncomfortably as I change positions. And the silicone material feels really comfortable too.

It’s also comfortable when walking around since the internal arm is slimmer than large egg vibrators and the external arm contours my body and provides comfortable broad coverage. The tighter hinge angle I like in bed presses a little too firmly against my pubic bone once clothing adds extra pressure over the toy. But when I loosen the hinge a bit wider before walking, the Sync 2 becomes very comfortable for light activity – still close enough to keep clit contact, but not so tight that the pressure becomes distracting.

The Lovense Lush Mini is quiet, with a clean, smooth hum. Its vibrations sound cleaner than the slightly more grating older Lush 2 and Lush 3. It has a similar, clean-sounding motor to the full-size Lovense Lush 4.

On low power, it measured right at our 35 dBA ambient floor – too quiet for our sound level meter to even pick up. On high, it reached about 46.5 dBA, which is still quiet.

It also did well in our Background Noise Masking test. While I wore the Mini, my partner listened from three feet away as we played pink noise at quiet, moderate, and loud volumes (56, 62, and 68 dBA). With the moderate and loud background noise playing, he couldn’t hear the Lush Mini at any strength. With the quietest background noise playing he couldn’t hear the low or middle settings either; only the high setting was barely audible – a subtle hum he had to listen closely for, and it took him several minutes to decide whether he was really hearing it.

Behind a closed bedroom door, the Lush Mini was completely inaudible. For this part of the test, my partner listened directly outside the closed door while I used the Mini handheld in bed. Holding it instead of wearing it gives the most conservative result, since wearing dampens the sound and some people also use eggs clitorally in bed. My partner couldn’t hear it from the other side of the door at any power level.

Most eggs are pretty quiet, so you have lots options, with the Lush Mini being an excellent one!

The Sync 2 has excellent noise levels – in the most discreet tier of wearables I’ve tested.

Decibel readings on low and high power were too quiet for our Sound Level Meter to pick up on. The ambient room noise was 35 dBA, and the Sync 2 never measured higher than this. Its clit motor also has a deeper, rumbly sound that blends into the room more easily than sharper, buzzier vibrations.

It also performed extremely well in our Background Noise Masking test. In this test, I wear the toy while my partner listens from three feet away, with pink noise playing at quiet, moderate, and loud volumes (56, 62, and 68 dBA). He couldn’t hear the Sync 2 at any vibration strength with any of the background noise levels playing. Without background audio, it is audible in the same room – but every wearable vibrator we’ve tested is, even the quietest ones.

Behind a closed bedroom door, the Sync 2 was also inaudible. For this part of the test, I use the toy in bed while my partner listens from outside the door. I hold it like a handheld vibrator instead of wearing it, since wearing a toy dampens sound and holding it gives us more conservative results. He couldn’t hear the Sync 2 at any strength – no fan, music, or other masking noise needed.

Most hands-free couples vibrators we’ve tested fall into this same especially-discreet group, including the We-Vibe Chorus. So if you’re choosing between couples vibes, the stimulation, comfort, and fit during sex matter more than small noise differences.

The Lovense Lush Mini has a short battery life for an egg vibrator. It lasted 65 minutes at its highest power in our test.

I actually ran this test twice since this is quite a bit shorter than the larger models, and Lovense advertises “up to 236 minutes.” If you use the lower and middle settings you’ll get a longer runtime – but at the max power we got about 65 minutes.

If a longer battery matters more to you than the slim, comfortable feel, the fuller Lovense Lush 4 and older Lovense Lush 3 last about twice as long – 120 and 135 minutes.

The Sync 2 lasted 63 minutes continuously running both motors at full power in our test. That’s enough for most bedroom use, but it’s short if you want to wear the toy around for extended foreplay or all-evening teasing.

It’s also the shortest battery life in We-Vibe’s hinged couples-vibrator lineup, though only barely behind the Chorus at 65 minutes. The Chorus Pro lasts 75 minutes, the original Sync lasts 85 minutes, and the Sync O lasts 93 minutes. If you want a longer-lasting hinged couples vibrator, the Sync O is the better We-Vibe pick. If long battery life matters more than the during-sex use, the Lovense Ferri lasts 168 minutes.

The Lovense Lush Mini is very easy to clean. It’s fully waterproof – rated IPX7, so you can rinse it under a running faucet or fully submerge it in soapy water without worry.

However, the IPX4 remote can only resist light water splashes. You should not take the remote into the shower or clean it under a running faucet. Clean the remote with a damp towel.

The Lush Mini has excellent build quality. It’s covered entirely in a smooth, body-safe silicone with a solid, quality feel, and its curved antenna is thick enough to feel sturdy and holds its shape well. The single button has a satisfying, responsive click, too.

I can’t speak to the Mini’s long-term lifespan yet, since it’s a newer toy. But I’ve had the Lush 2 since 2020 and the Lush 3 since 2021, and both still work as expected; the Mini feels built to the same solid standard, so I expect it to hold up well with normal use and care.

The We-Vibe Sync 2 has excellent build quality. It’s coated entirely in smooth, plush silicone, and the external arm’s adjustable hinge feels sturdy when I apply pressure to it. The connection between the internal and external arms also feels solid, so I’m not worried about it snapping during normal use. We-Vibe’s newer circular on-toy button is easier to press than the slim buttons on older models, and the remote’s buttons have a clear click feel. I’ve owned the Sync 2 since May 2023, and it has continued to work as expected.
