The We-Vibe Chorus is one of the few couples vibrators that reliably brings me to orgasm hands-free during sex. Alongside the Sync 2, it’s the most stimulating couples’ vibrator.

Like all wearables, it does take more effort than with a handheld vibrator. Handheld toys let you press exactly where you want, apply the exact pressure you want, and use much larger, stronger motors. So you may prefer a handheld like the Lovense Hyphy or a wand vibrator if maximum intensity matters more than being hands-free. But the Chorus works for me because it gets the fit right.

The two hinges let me change the toy’s shape to fit my body better. So the external arm stays firmly on my clit even as my partner thrusts, and I get the consistent clit stimulation I need to orgasm hands-free.

I can only orgasm with adjustable couples vibrators. Most cheaper models are only flexible, not adjustable, including the We-Vibe Sync Go, Sync Lite, and Romp Join, and even premium models from other brands like the Dame Eva, Lelo Tiani 3, Tiani Duo, and others. Without being able to change the shape to fit my body better, all those toys shift off my clit during sex and I cannot orgasm with them.

The G-spot arm also adds more during sex than I originally expected. The internal vibrations are mild, but the bulbous arm gets pushed into my G-spot during penetration and adds stimulating pressure that makes it easier to orgasm. That extra front-wall pressure makes the Chorus more stimulating during sex than the Sync O. But the G-spot arm’s still slim enough for comfortable penetration while wearing it – it adds a little extra tightness, but it’s not too much of a stretch. I don’t experience pinching, poking, or pain in any position.

The Chorus is not the only good option for hands-free stimulation during sex, though. I get just as good of a fit with the Sync 2 and orgasm just as easily with it, even though it only has one hinge. So choose the Chorus if you want to spend more for the wider adjustment range and better chance of finding your ideal fit during sex. Choose the Sync 2 if you want to save about $50 and likely get a very similar during-sex experience.

Its only moderately powerful compared to stronger panty vibrators or handheld vibrators, so those are more intense options if hands-free stimulation during sex isn’t your priority.

The Lovense Ferri reaches a top power of 9.35 out of 10 – the strongest of any panty vibrator we’ve tested, and it’s the one I orgasm with the easiest.

Other panty vibrators I recommend like the VeDO Niki and the NS Novelties Techno Lucy top out at 8.0 and 9.0. And the range available through the app is wide, from a very gentle 1.0 up to that 9.35, so there’s soft warmup levels and strong upper levels.

The Ferri also transfers that power to my clit better than any other panty vibrator I’ve tested. With a handheld toy you can position the toy where you want it and press harder for more intensity; but with wearables the toy’s shape and fit have to do all the work of delivering the motor’s strength to your body. The Ferri is one of the few panty vibrators that does an excellent job transferring vibrations to my clit. The slightly curved design hugs the body, and the short length prevents the toy from pivoting or getting knocked out of place with movement.

And the Ferri’s curve with a taller front also lets you apply more pressure when you want to without using your hands – something flat panty vibes can’t do. When you’re sitting, shifting your weight against the end opposite your clit tilts the toy and presses the clit-end more firmly into you, making the vibrations feel stronger. It’s the closest a hands-free wearable gets to the pressure control of a handheld.

The stimulation profile here is focused and precise rather than broad and blanketing. If you prefer broad stimulation that spreads the stimulation out, the VeDO Niki is also a good option, but not quite as strong.

The Chorus’s clit motor has a broad power range, starting gently and reaching 6.75 out of 10 on high. That’s moderate for wearable vibrators overall, but tied for the strongest hands-free couples vibrator I’ve tested – the Chorus, Sync 2, and original Sync offer nearly identical clit stimulation.

During sex, its strength and fit make it one of only a few couples vibrators I orgasm with easily and reliably. The Chorus’s two hinges keep the external motor pressed against my clit instead of shifting off like flexible models do. The second hinge may help more people get this stimulating fit, but for me, the Chorus and Sync 2 transfer vibrations to my clit equally well, and both are more stimulating than the Chorus Pro.

For solo wear or wearing around, the clit motor still feels stimulating because the hinges keep it in decent contact. But without penetration adding pressure, it feels more moderate. I’d treat those uses as a nice bonus – if wearable clit stimulation outside sex is your main goal, a stronger panty vibrator is usually a better fit.

Couples vibrators are generally less intense than other wearable clit toys like panty vibrators and handheld vibrators. Handhelds also let you control exact placement and pressure. If you typically need substantial intensity, you may prefer a handheld toy like the Lovense Hyphy or a wand vibrator.

Compared with other couples vibrators, the Chorus is one of the strongest and most effective. Cheaper couples vibrators like the Romp Join, Sync Lite, and Sync Go – and even premium options like the Lelo Tiani 3 – have weaker vibrations and no adjustable hinge to keep the clit motor positioned well.

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because most people prefer them, but it’s a preference and some people enjoy buzzy vibrations more (I like them personally).

Like most panty vibrators, the Lovense Ferri’s rumbliness is mediocre. The Ferri’s vibrations are moderately buzzy at medium strength, and extremely buzzy at the top of its range. Although its lowest settings are rumbly, most people will use them mainly while warming up. Vibrations always become buzzier as you increase power, and by the time you reach the upper levels that you’ll likely need to orgasm, the vibrations are entirely in the buzzy range.

This buzzier feel is typical of most panty vibrators, including the We-Vibe Moxie+, NS Novelties Techno Lucy, Romp Party and others. The small motors that fit inside a panty vibe tend to need to spin faster (be buzzier) to produce the power larger motors can at slower (more rumbly) speeds.

If rumbly vibrations are a strong preference for you, the VeDO Niki has much deeper-feeling vibrations. I personally enjoy both the buzzy feel of the Ferri’s vibrations and the rumbliness of the Niki’s.

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because most people prefer them. But this is still a personal preference – many people enjoy buzzier vibrations too.

The Chorus’s clit motor is unusually rumbly for a wearable. Its lowest setting is extremely rumbly at around 40 Hz, the middle settings stay moderately rumbly, and the highest setting becomes only moderately buzzy at 98 Hz. But it has enough power there that it still feels deep and impactful.

The Sync 2‘s clit vibrations are just slightly more rumbly, but the difference is minimal.

The Chorus’s rumbliness really helps because wearable vibrators have less pressure and placement control than handheld toys. Rumbly vibes travel deeper through your body, which helps the Chorus feel more stimulating even though it doesn’t apply as much pressure as I’d normally get from a handheld vibe.

The Chorus also has a noticeable low, rhythmic tapping sensation layered over the steady vibrations, making the clit motor feel deeper and more rumbly than its raw frequency suggests. It stands out most on the lower and middle settings – I wish the tapping stayed stronger at the highest settings, but it becomes more noticeable when both motors run together – especially with one arm on low and the other on high.

Like all panty vibrators, the Lovense Ferri only stimulates your clit – not your G-spot. Since most women need clit stimulation to orgasm, a panty vibrator is often the right type of wearable – that’s why I personally enjoy it more than the Lovense Lush 4 and Lush Mini. But for a couples vibrator worn during sex, the Chorus’s G-spot arm adds helpful front-wall pressure and makes orgasming easier for me than clit-only models like the We-Vibe Sync O.

The We-Vibe Chorus’s G-spot motor is very mild on its own, reaching only 2.5 out of 10 which is normal for a hands-free couples vibrator.

It’s much weaker than dedicated G-spot egg vibrators or large dual-stimulation wearables like the Lovense Dolce which are not intended to wear during sex.

The internal arm of a couples vibrator has to be slim enough to leave space for comfortable penetration, so it can’t use a large, powerful motor. Its main job is not to provide intense G-spot vibrations on its own – it’s to anchor the toy and add pressure against the front wall during sex.

On its own, the G-spot motor feels weak and not especially G-spot-focused. It’s about 9% weaker than the Sync 2’s G-spot motor, but it doesn’t really make a difference, since the vibrations are not what’s adding to the stimulation.

During penetration, the Chorus’s bulbous internal arm gets pushed more firmly into my G-spot as my partner thrusts, and that pressure makes the stimulation feel much more impactful. That’s why the Chorus feels more stimulating to me during sex than clit-only models like the Sync O, even though the G-spot motor itself is mild.

And it’s why the Chorus feels more stimulating than the slightly stronger Lelo Tiani Duo or Harmony. Because the Tiani’s slim arm doesn’t press into my G-spot like the Chorus’s does.

If strong solo G-spot stimulation is your priority, choose an egg vibrator like the Lovense Lush 4 or We-Vibe Jive 2 instead. If you’re looking for a couples vibrator to wear during sex, the Chorus’s bulbous G-spot arm provides the helpful front-wall pressure you want during PIV.

The We-Vibe Chorus’s G-spot vibrations are extremely buzzy – typical for hands-free couples vibrators since the internal motor has to be very small.

While its lowest settings are neutral, the middle and higher settings quickly become extremely buzzy, with a median frequency around 172 Hz. When using the Chorus for solo stimulation, the buzzy vibrations mean you won’t feel the G-spot stimulation much. Buzzy vibrations don’t travel through your body as effectively, and the G-spot is less sensitive than the clit. So if the vibrations are buzzy, you typically need more power to compensate, which the Chorus’s G-spot arm lacks.

But I don’t consider this a major problem for the Chorus’s main purpose – stimulating you during sex. When my partner thrusts, the internal arm pushes into my G-spot and that pressure is what makes the stimulation meaningful, while the vibrations only add subtle enhancement.

So if you want strong, rumbly G-spot vibrations on their own, larger egg vibrators are better. But for a couples’ vibrator worn during sex, the Chorus’s G-spot arm still adds enough pressure and stimulation to make orgasming easier for me – no couples’ vibrator’s G-spot arm is strong and rumbly.

I have many remote and app-controlled toys, and Lovense’s app provides the most control, is easiest to use, and has the most reliable connectivity.

If app control matters a lot to you in a panty vibrator, the Ferri is the best choice.

In the next sections, I’ll cover the We-Vibe app’s close-range features, long-distance features, and connectivity in detail.

Here’s the main conclusion: The We-Vibe app is buggy and bad – far behind Lovense’s app. But for hands-free stimulation during sex, I usually prefer the physical remote or on-toy button anyway. The app is a downside, but not a dealbreaker because We-Vibe still makes the only couples vibrators I reliably orgasm with.

The Chorus app does avoid one Sync 2 problem: it can reach the toy’s full intensity. But the app still freezes, has inconsistent dual-motor control, and has long-distance bugs that can block you from connecting at all.

If app control matters more than hands-free stimulation during sex, go with a Lovense toy instead: the Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, Lovense Lush 4 for G-spot stimulation, or Lovense Dolce for dual stimulation.

The Ferri’s app has the best close-range features of any panty vibrator I’ve tested.

From the main remote screen, you’ll control the Ferri by dragging its control dot up and down to adjust the power. Tap “Float” to keep the power constant or click “Loop” to quickly repeat a pattern you draw on-screen. This makes it easy to set your Ferri exactly to your preferred intensity or quickly create your own vibration patterns from the same screen.

The vibrations play as you draw, so you can feel whether you actually like the pattern – some apps make you draw a waveform blindly, save it, then play it back to feel what it does. Tapping “Record” also saves the pattern to “My Patterns” for re-use if you enjoyed it.

You can also connect and control multiple Lovense toys at once with each motor getting its own dot on the Remote screen. So if you have both a Lovense Lush 4 and a Ferri, you can control them together for simultaneous clit and G-spot stimulation (which I personally prefer over using the dual-stimulation Lovense Dolce). Or you can control your own toy and a nearby partner’s toy at once. We tested four toys simultaneously without issue.

For preset patterns, you can use the “My Patterns” screen which has four defaults to choose from, plus anything you’ve drawn and saved, and any patterns you’ve downloaded from Lovense’s community library. Lovense has an active community creating and sharing patterns to browse and download.

Sound-reactive control is also excellent and the most practical I’ve used in any app. You set a minimum decibel threshold – the toy stays silent when the sound around you is below the threshold. And you set a sensitivity – how much of the toy’s power range will be used when the sound is above the threshold. There’s also a live decibel readout to calibrate against the room you’re in. Many other apps try to combine these settings or don’t even have a threshold control.

The music-sync mode is pretty good: it follows what’s playing on Spotify or your local files, but the only real control is capping the maximum intensity. It works fine as a way to get changing vibrations without having to control anything yourself.

Lovense has a few niche extra control features and settings that can be helpful – Voice Control if your fingers are otherwise occupied, and Device-to-Device control where another Lovense toy (the Max 2, Nora, or Solace) drives the Ferri’s vibrations through the controller’s own movements. You can also set a max-intensity setting for each toy to cap how high the vibrations can go – this can be useful both for keeping the toy below a noise threshold and for limiting how high a partner can push it if you’re sensitive to overstimulation.

Overall, the Lovense app’s close-range features are excellent and the best of any brand.

The We-Vibe app’s close-range features are weak because the app is so buggy. If it worked properly, it would be a decent option for simple intensity control and preset patterns. But the current experience is frustrating.

The main controls are Single Vibe and Multi Vibe. Both let you drag an on-screen dot up or down to adjust intensity. Multi Vibe also lets you assign preset patterns to four corners, so you can quickly switch between steady vibration and a few favorite patterns without digging through menus. On both screens, you can adjust the clit and G-spot motors together or control them independently. The design is simple and convenient in theory.

This is one area where the Chorus is better than the Sync 2. The Sync 2 only reaches about 73% of its true top strength through the app, even when the app shows 100% power. The Chorus does not have that power-cap bug – the app can reach the same top intensity you get from the remote or on-toy button.

But the Chorus still has the broader We-Vibe app problems. The control dot sometimes freezes or stops responding, especially when you try to control the two motors independently. So while the app gives the Chorus its full power range, it still is not reliable enough to be my main control method during sex.

There are 10 preset patterns you can choose from in Single or Multi Vibe mode, each with a name and waveform icon. Some are easy to understand, like Pulse and Wave, while others are less clear. There’s also a Playlist feature for stringing patterns together, but you can’t feel what you’re building as you make it, so it’s mostly guesswork.

Custom pattern creation is also clunky. It takes too many taps to get to, and you cannot easily feel and refine the pattern while building it. Lovense does this much better.

The sound and music modes are okay. Sound Mode uses your phone’s mic, while Music Mode syncs to songs saved locally on your phone – not Spotify or Apple Music. Both work, but the controls are poorly labeled, and there’s no minimum-volume threshold like Lovense offers, which is helpful in preventing your toy from vibrating until the sounds around you are loud enough.

Touch Sense is a Chorus and Chorus Pro specific app feature, but it’s not that useful. The idea is that sensors in the clit arm change the vibrations as your partner’s body bumps against it during sex, so the toy responds to your movement with your partner. But it works inconsistently and most people prefer a steady vibration anyway, so it’s more of a novelty than helpful.

For close-range control, I’d use the Chorus’s remote instead of the app. If you mainly want excellent app control, Lovense is much better – choose the Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, the Lovense Lush 4 for G-spot stimulation, or the Lovense Dolce for dual stimulation. But none of those are couples vibrators to wear during sex. We-Vibe makes the only good couples vibrators I can orgasm with, so if that’s your goal, the Chorus is still worth choosing – I’d just skip the app and use the remote.

Lovense’s long-distance experience is also the best of any panty vibrator I’ve tested, by a wide margin.

When messaging or video calling, my partner gets the same great Remote screen with the Float and Loop controls, so they can set a constant intensity or draw a looping pattern easily. The long-distance core controls aren’t stripped down like many apps do. One minor downside is that you can’t control your own toy during a video call; only your partner can. Most of the time that’s fine, but occasionally I’d like to take over for a moment to set my own intensity.

The video call tools are excellent and make for a seamless experience with your partner.

Getting into a call is easy – when your partner sends a video call request, there’s a clear screen on your phone with a green accept button or red reject button. Some apps send the request to a particular screen and your partner has to go there to find it, which makes calls easy to miss, but requests in Lovense’s app are noticeable.

When you’re in a video call, you can mute, toggle your camera off/on, flip video to front or back, cast the audio to a speaker, or end the call.

It’s easy to see your partner and access the controls – the video feed is clear by default. Just tap the screen to bring up the control panel. You can also reposition your self-view anywhere on the screen to see your partner more clearly. Some apps keep annoying controls permanently covering the view of your partner.

You can both lock your phone screen or use other apps without issue. The in-app messaging is alo excellent and very easy to use with a thread that’s easy to follow – it looks just like any other message thread. You can send all the important media types you might want to: voice notes, photos, and videos from your camera or camera roll. And there’s an effective, optional “burn after reading” feature for single-time viewing and preventing screenshots.

You can adjust your partner’s settings to auto-accept their control requests so they can take control of your toy by surprise, get a push notification when they come online, or hide your online status from them specifically. And each partner’s controls can be set differently.

Anonymous and group play is broader than any other app-controlled brand. You can send a one-time control link to someone or create a group link for up to 10 people to control your toy. When time’s up they lose control and can’t request it again.

If long-distance play is the main reason you’re buying a panty vibrator, the Ferri is the best choice.

The We-Vibe app’s long-distance features are too buggy to recommend.

The design is decent in theory, but persistent connection and control issues make long-distance play unreliable. If long-distance control matters, there are no good couples’ vibrators – you’re better off with a different type of wearable. The Lovense Ferri for clit stimulation, the Lovense Lush 4 for G-spot stimulation, or the Lovense Dolce for dual stimulation are better long-distance options.

Long-distance control in We-Vibe’s app is supposed to work like close-range control. Your partner gets the same Single Vibe, Multi Vibe, and Touch screens to control your Chorus, and you can control their toy the same way. You can also take back control of your own toy mid-session without ending the call, which is a useful feature.

Unlike with the Sync 2, your partner can use the Chorus’s full power from the app when control is working. But that is a small advantage inside a bad long-distance experience. The control dot can still freeze or stop responding, and long-distance has extra bugs over close-range control. Most importantly, both partners often show as “offline” even when you’re both in the app, which prevents you from starting a session at all.

Even when it does connect, starting a video call is clunky. You have to send and accept four separate requests: the call, camera access, control of your toy, and control of theirs. The video feed is blurry and choppy compared to Lovense.

Chat works as a basic messenger, with text, photos, voice notes, and video clips. We-Vibe does let you save multiple partners, but it doesn’t offer Lovense’s anonymous one-time control links or auto-accept settings for trusted partners.

For long-distance play, go with one of the Lovense toys mentioned above. Just keep in mind these are not designed to be worn during penetrative sex.

The Ferri’s connectivity is excellent and the most reliable of any panty vibrator I’ve tested, in both nearby Bluetooth and long-distance modes.

Pairing is fast and easy. The very first time is fast but takes a couple steps: tap “Add Toy,” turn the Ferri on, and it appears in the toy list to be added in seconds. After that one-time setup, the Ferri auto-connects immediately when you turn it on with the app open.

Once paired, the Ferri stays connected through normal phone behavior – locking the screen, switching to another app, or leaving Lovense Remote idle for long stretches doesn’t drop the connection.

It also stays connected through body interference like happens when a partner is controlling your toy from an angle or behind you. Water-rich materials like body tissue dampen Bluetooth signals more than walls or clothing, which is why some panty vibrators that handle solo app control fine still drop the connection during partner control.

Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively harder positions, and the Ferri holds a stable connection at all three – including the most severe angle. Other panty vibrators like the Satisfyer Sexy Secret and NS Novelties Techno Lucy lose the connection at that worst-case angle. So if a partner controlling your toy with a lot of your body in the way is part of how you’ll use a panty vibe, the Ferri’s connectivity is excellent.

Bluetooth range came in around 190 feet in our open-air test (measured with a clear line-of-sight) before the connection dropped – well past the distance you’d likely cover during typical wearable use. Your own results may vary depending on walls and interference.

When a disconnect does happen (like if you walk out of range, or something briefly blocks the signal), the app reconnects automatically as soon as the signal is clear, and a red “Reconnecting…” indicator on screen shows the controlling partner that control has paused rather than pretending it’s still working.

Two settings also give you control over what the vibrations do during a disconnect: Auto-Stop pauses the Ferri until reconnection – useful for making sure the toy stays silent – or you can set it to keep the last vibration level running so stimulation isn’t interrupted.

The long-distance connectivity is also excellent. The long-distance connection works in two parts: the Ferri talks to your phone over Bluetooth (the same as during nearby play), and your phone talks to your partner’s phone over Wi-Fi or cell data. So as long as your cell signal or Wi-Fi is decent, the long-distance connection works well. Sessions don’t drop unexpectedly, commands consistently take effect, and the connection survives normal phone behavior on either end (locking the screen, switching apps, backgrounding Lovense Remote).

It can be spotty if you’re continually switching from wifi to cell data. So if you’re in this situation, it’s best to start the call on cell data, which prevents the call from dropping.

The Chorus’s app connectivity is poor. It’s an app issue, so it affects all We-Vibe’s couples vibrators including the Sync 2, Chorus Pro, Sync O, and others. You’ll want to control the Chorus from the remote.

The Chorus’s Bluetooth signal itself is strong. It has reasonable range and handles body interference well. But the app causes unreliable reconnection, missed commands, and long-distance bugs that make long-distance play unusable. If app control is a priority, the Lovense Ferri, Lush 4, or Dolce are much more reliable. But these are not designed to be worn during sex.

The Chorus is more annoying to pair than the Sync 2 and other We-Vibe toys because the app connects through the remote, not directly to the toy. Initial setup requires several button-presses on the toy, the remote, and the app. It works, but it feels needlessly long. Another great reason to just use the remote instead of the app.

After initial pairing, reconnecting is usually easier: you swipe to the Chorus in the app and tap Connect. The app shows the full setup walkthrough again, but if you’ve used the Chorus recently, you can usually tap through it in the app without actually repeating the button routine on the remote.

The problems get worse if you switch between several We-Vibe toys or connect the same toy to multiple phones. Then quick-connect can often fail, and the fix typically requires deleting the toy from the app, forgetting it in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and pairing it again.

Since the Chorus pairs through the remote, you also need the remote nearby any time you want to use the app. With the Sync 2, the phone connects directly to the toy, so you can leave the remote behind.

Reconnection during play is inconsistent. If the signal drops and returns within 10-20 seconds, the app usually reconnects automatically. But during that gap, the app may still look connected, so your partner can be “controlling” the toy while nothing is actually happening. If you’re out of range longer, you may need to reconnect manually, sometimes by holding the on-toy button – awkward if you’re wearing it.

Even when the connection holds, commands often miss. On the Single Vibe and Multi Vibe screens, the toy may not respond when you drag the control dot, or it may freeze up completely. These misses are intermittent, but frequent enough that I don’t trust the app.

The Chorus holds up to body interference well. Our test simulates nearby partner control where your body sits at three increasingly difficult angles, between the phone and toy. Many wearables lose connection at the hardest angle because water-rich body tissue weakens Bluetooth more than walls or clothes. The Chorus stayed connected through all three. Its open-air max range was also excellent at 175 feet.

Long-distance play is more problematic than the close range issues. Both partners often show as “offline” even when they’re in the app, preventing sessions from starting at all. When sessions do connect, control commands often stop affecting the toys. Both bugs happen regularly, and there’s no reliable fix.

For dependable app connectivity in close-range or long-distance play, the Lovense Ferri, Lush 4, or Dolce are better choices – but We-Vibe is the only brand with good couples’ vibrators.

The Lovense Ferri doesn’t include a physical remote control. A remote lets you adjust the toy by feel – without pulling out your phone. Though there’s other downsides like less depth and no visual feedback to help your partner know what your toy’s doing. Here’s the main conclusion:

The Chorus’s remote is excellent. It’s a reliable alternative to the poor app.

It’s plush, has great core controls, is responsive, and very reliable. It also handles body interference extremely well – better than the Sync 2’s remote. Though the squeeze-control bonus feature is more a bonus feature than genuinely useful.

The We-Vibe Chorus has one of the nicest physical remotes of any couples vibrator I have tested.

It has separate controls for power and patterns, so you do not have to cycle through every pattern just to step the intensity back down. That alone makes it much better than many basic remotes. And you can adjust the intensity of the patterns too.

The Chorus’s remote has a squeeze control feature to help your partner feel more engaged than just pressing buttons. As they squeeze the remote harder, your vibrations will get more intense. It’s an engaging idea, but it takes a pretty firm squeeze which gets tiring fast, so we don’t really use it. The Chorus Pro’s updated remote made it really easy to squeeze, but unfortunately the toy itself is worse.

The buttons aren’t as easy to tell apart by feel as the Sync 2’s, so you may have to look down more. But the remote is coated in a really plush, luxurious-feeling silicone that’s very comfortable in your hand, though larger than the Sync 2’s simpler remote.

Like most remotes, the Chorus remote does not give the controlling partner feedback about what setting the toy is on. Apps are better for visual feedback, but the Chorus’s app is not good enough for that to outweigh the remote’s reliability.

The Chorus’s remote connectivity is excellent as long as you don’t need a super long range.

Button presses feel responsive, with no distracting delay. The remote responds immediately after being idle, and commands go through reliably.

It also handles body interference really well. When a partner is controlling a wearable, your body sits in the path between the remote and the toy – and water-rich body tissue weakens Bluetooth and RF signals. Our body-interference test simulates this at three progressively challenging angles.

The Chorus remote stayed perfectly connected through every angle, and our test runs even harsher than real-world conditions. It did better than the Sync 2’s remote which missed some commands there during this test.

The remote reached about 40 feet in our open-air range test, measured with clear line-of-sight and no body interference. That’s shorter than many wearable remotes we’ve tested, but it still easily covers same-room use. For sex and nearby partner control, the remote is one of the Chorus’s strongest features.

Like most panty vibrators, the Ferri’s on-toy controls are limited by design – the toy sits inside your underwear during use, so you’ll typically rely on the app.

A single button cycles forward through three power presets and four vibration patterns; there’s no backward step, and the full power range is only available through the app. The three presets are programmable from the app’s “Adjust Levels” screen, so you can set them to whatever levels you like. I’d rather the patterns weren’t on the cycle – most people don’t use them, and they add more clicks when you’re cycling through power levels.

The button is easy to feel and press without looking. Pressing pushes the Ferri against your body, but the button sits further back from the clit-end than on most panty vibrators, so the pressure lands in a plusher, more comfortable spot than a lot of panty vibrators.

In practice, the on-toy button is mostly for turning the Ferri on and off – the app handles everything else.

The Chorus’s on-toy controls are basic, which is normal for a couples vibrator that includes both a remote and an app.

A single button cycles through 4 power levels and 6 vibration patterns on the same loop. To drop back to a lower power you have to click past the remaining patterns to get there. With 4 power levels covering the full range, the cycle is at least short enough for occasional use.

The button itself is easy to find and press: it’s visible, has a distinct feel, and sits on the external arm so you don’t have to remove the toy to adjust it. This toy has the older design of We-Vibe’s button, which is a slim oval, that’s a bit harder to press than their updated round design but still very doable.

While the controls are limited, I actually like using the on-toy button during sex. It’s nice to just reach between my legs and click when I’m warmed up and ready for more intensity, rather than setting the remote down somewhere nearby and finding it again when I want to change settings.

The Lovense Ferri stays securely in place.

The magnet allows you to position the Ferri in the best spot on your underwear for you and secure it in place. The Ferri’s magnet is very strong, and the Ferri’s body is lightweight, so there isn’t much weight working against the anchor. The magnet is strong enough to hold the Ferri through my hand. I can place the toy anywhere in my underwear it stays there.

When using the Ferri in bed, it doesn’t budge from where I magnet it. Leg movement when shifting between sitting, lying back, and rolling onto my side nudges the toy a little, but I never feel it slipping off my clit – any small repositioning is just to optimize the spot.

When wearing it around while walking, it wiggles side-to-side a bit, but the magnet holds securely – and this movement actually makes it feel more stimulating.

Heavy activity like running, squats, dancing, and jumping jacks is where the Ferri shifts the most. It bounces around a little with gravity on landings, but always snaps back to its original spot, never falls out, and stays in a stimulating place throughout.

While you can wear the Chorus around, it’s best thought of as a bonus. It stays put in bed and through light movement, but it’s less secure and weaker than wearables designed specifically to wear around.

The Chorus’s adjustability is its biggest design strengths. It has two hinges: one near the external clit arm and one along the internal arm. You adjust them into position, and the toy holds that shape. That is different from a merely flexible vibrator that bends but springs back – you can’t make a flexible toy fit tighter.

Adjustable hinges are essential for a C-shaped couples vibrator to fit securely. The clit arm of purely flexible models like the Romp Join, We-Vibe Sync Lite, Sync Go, and Lelo’s Tiani line shift easily off my clit during normal movement – and they often fall out entirely. With the Chorus, I can tighten the fit so the external motor stays where I need it.

The second hinge gives the Chorus more customizable range than the Sync 2 which has one hinge. I personally get a similarly secure fit from both and think one hinge is sufficient for a secure fit. But the Chorus is the safer pick because it can be set in a wider variety of configurations.

Clothes help hold the Chorus in place. I am able to walk around, go up and down stairs and do light activity without it shifting around or feeling like it’s falling out.

But heavier movement like jumping up and down can cause it to start wiggling loose. The Sync O is the only couples vibrator I’ve tried that remains securely in place across all activity levels and stimulates well during sex (though not quite as well as the Chorus).

But if you mainly want something to wear around (not use during sex), I’d look at an egg vibrator or magnetic panty vibrator instead.

The Ferri is comfortable to wear in bed and during light activity, but its firm body and focused contact surface keep it just behind the most comfortable panty vibrators I’ve tested.

When walking or going up and down stairs, the Ferri shifts a small amount side-to-side, and that movement translates into a little extra clit stimulation, but also a little less comfort. The toy is small enough that I never have to adjust my walk, and the slight wiggle doesn’t bother me personally. But it’s noticeable, and it isn’t something you can really control.

In bed, it’s very comfortable. There are no sharp seams, and the slight curve lays the toy along my pubic area so it doesn’t pull off or tap uncomfortably as I shift around. The Ferri has no flex or squish, though, and the contact area is small. When I roll onto my side, I feel some pressure as my legs push the firm toy into my body. It’s not painful, just something I notice. And the firm, focused shape is what allows the vibes to transfer so well.

If comfort is the priority, both the NS Novelties Techno Lucy (app-controlled) and the VeDO Niki (remote-controlled) are more comfortable options. Just be aware, the Lucy’s app is much worse, and the Niki isn’t quite as strong as the Ferri.

The We-Vibe Chorus is an extremely comfortable C-shaped couples vibrator, whether in bed or while walking around.

Because of its adjustable hinges, it fits snugly enough to stay tight to my body, but it does not pinch, poke, or press so hard that I want to take it out. Since it fits snug in bed, it doesn’t tap my clit uncomfortably as I change positions. And the silicone material feels really comfortable too.

It’s also comfortable when walking around since the internal arm is slimmer than large egg vibrators and the external arm contours my body and provides comfortable broad coverage. It doesn’t jostle from side to side at all and it’s slim enough between my legs that I don’t have to alter my walk.

While the Lovense Ferri isn’t the quietest panty vibrator I’ve tested, it’s reasonably discreet.

It was just below the most-discreet tier of wearables in our Background Noise Masking subtest. In this subtest, I wear the vibrator and my partner listens from three feet away while we play pink noise through a speaker at preset volumes (56, 62, and 68 dBA). One of the Ferri’s oddities is that the lower settings have harsher, more uneven sound. Whereas the higher settings vibrate more cleanly and are less noticeable – even though their decibel readings are nearly identical at around 43 dBA each. So the Ferri’s middle and high vibration strengths were masked by our quietest background audio (56 dBA of pink noise). But to mask the lowest vibration setting, we had to increase the pink noise to our moderate level (62 dBA).

The Ferri had a similar pattern behind a closed bedroom door. For this part of the noise test, my partner listens from the other side of the bedroom door while I use the toy in bed. I use it like a handheld toy since wearing dampens sound, and some people want the flexibility to safely re-position the toy or move it around. Holding the toy instead of wearing it gives us the most conservative results.

My partner couldn’t hear it on low or high power. But he heard the middle setting – really only when I was moving the toy so the sound was changing. The middle has that more jarring quality and enough strength that it draws your ear; high power settles into a cleaner, consistent pitch – which is why high power is actually more discreet than the middle behind a closed door.

If you want a more discreet panty vibrator without giving up much power, the VeDO Niki (remote-controlled) is meaningfully quieter and is another one of the strongest panty vibrators I’ve tested.

The Chorus has excellent noise levels.

On low power, it measured at our 35 dBA ambient floor – too quiet for our sound level meter to pick up. On high, it reached about 41 dBA, which is still very quiet. Its clit motor also has a deeper, rumbly sound that blends into the room more easily than sharper, buzzier vibrations.

It performed extremely well in our Background Noise Masking test. In this test, I wear the toy while my partner listens from three feet away, with pink noise playing at quiet, moderate, and loud volumes. He couldn’t hear the Chorus at any vibration strength with any of the background noise levels playing. Without background audio, it is audible in the same room – but every wearable vibrator we’ve tested is, even the quietest ones.

Behind a closed bedroom door, the Chorus was also inaudible. For this part of the test, I use the toy in bed while my partner listens from outside the door. I hold it like a handheld vibrator instead of wearing it, since wearing a toy dampens sound and holding it gives us more conservative results. He couldn’t hear the Chorus at any strength – no fan, music, or other masking noise needed.

Most hands-free couples vibrators we’ve tested fall into this same especially-discreet group, including the slightly cheaper We-Vibe Sync 2. So if you’re choosing between couples vibes, the stimulation, comfort, and fit during sex matter more than small noise differences.

The Lovense Ferri lasted 168 minutes during our test continuously vibrating on its top power level – the longest of any panty vibrator. Plus, in actual use you’ll likely use the lower and middle settings too which will extend the battery life.

The Chorus lasted about 65 minutes continuously running both motors at full power in our testing.

That is enough for most sex and solo play sessions, but it is short if you want to wear the toy around. The We-Vibe Sync O lasted a little longer at 93 minutes and is easier to wear around.

The battery life does not bother me much for the Chorus’s main use. I do not usually need more than an hour of continuous full-power vibration during sex. But if you want a toy you can wear around for a long time, a panty vibrator like the Lovense Ferri will last much longer (168 minutes in our test).

The Lovense Ferri is easy to clean. It’s IPX7 waterproof, so you can rinse it under a running faucet or fully submerge it in soapy water without worry.

The We-Vibe Chorus is easy to clean.

The toy itself is IPX7 waterproof, so you can clean it under running water and completely submerge it.

The IPX4 remote can only resist light water splashes. You should not take the remote into the shower or clean it under a running faucet. Clean the remote with a damp towel.

The Ferri’s build quality is excellent – I’ve had mine since 2020 and it’s still working exactly as expected. The toy is smooth, firm silicone on the side in contact with your body, with some plastic and magnetic portions on the other side. The magnet that anchors the toy is small but very strong. The seams are all tight, and the single button has a satisfying press without needing much pressure to activate.

The We-Vibe Chorus feels premium. Our original unit lasted about five years before developing issues and we had to replace it. While not perfect, it’s a pretty reasonable amount of time.

The toy is coated entirely in smooth, plush silicone, and the body feels well-made. The remote also feels high quality: its buttons are easy to press and have a noticeable click-feel.

After about 5 years, the internal arm stopped vibrating, and we had to buy a new Chorus. Both hinges had loosened a little over that time. They still held well enough to use, but it always clicked one tick looser than my preferred tighter position. Our newer purchase holds more tightly.

So the Chorus feels like a premium toy, and I consider its long-term durability generally solid, but it’s not indestructible.
