The Doxy Go is a mid-budget mini wand vibrator from Doxy, a brand famous for its line of powerful wands. It’s the smallest and most affordable model in the Doxy line, designed for portability and convenience. While it’s marketed as having powerful vibrations, it’s not anywhere near the strength of their large wands. Its power is much more similar to the Doxy bullet (which is one of my strongest bullet vibrators).
It has 5 power levels and 5 vibration patterns. You can increase and decrease the strength of the steady vibrations and patterns. It has a brushed metal handle and a body-safe silicone head, a travel lock (activated by holding the power and “-” buttons simultaneously), and with its IPX7 waterproof rating, you can take it into the bath or shower.
The Doxy Go is rechargeable, with a pinhole, USB charging cable, and a storage bag.

The Doxy Go is a decent mini vibrator but a disappointing wand. Its performance falls short when compared to other wands in its price range, primarily due to its lack of wand-like power (it’s less than half the strength of other Doxy Wands like the Die Cast). For those seeking a classic, high-intensity wand experience, options like the Magic Wand Mini or Magic Wand Plus are better options in this price range – they’re also more rumbly and compatible with wand attachments and mounts.
However, the Doxy Go is a hybrid between wands and bullet vibrators. Its power is comparable to the strongest bullets, but its longer handle makes it easier to grip and leverage. The broader head also provides wider stimulation than the pinpoint tips of most bullets. If you want the power of a strong bullet vibrator with the improved ergonomics of a wand, the Doxy Go can be a good option. Its main drawback compared to other bullets is its buzzy nature (a personal preference) – there are more rumbly bullets and mini vibrators available if you prefer deeper vibrations.

Vibrations: Power And Range
The Doxy Go has a very limited power range with only mild settings. It reaches a 3.75 out of 10 strength on high (on a scale compared to wand vibrators). Its power is more similar to my strongest bullet vibrators. In fact, its top strength feels about the same as the highest setting of the Doxy bullet (which I rate a 10 out of 10 strength compared to other bullets).
It’s enough strength for me, and could work if you don’t need the enormous intensity wands are famous for – many people don’t. The gradual power settings in this gentle range are helpful if you’re easily overstimulated.
But if you expect a typical wand’s immense power, this will be disappointing. For a similar price, the Magic Wand Plus offers more than double the power and a much wider range of intensity. Or if you still want a mini wand, the Magic Wand Mini is another stronger option in this price range.
Compared to other Doxy wands, this is the weakest. Most of them even start at nearly double the strength.

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because most people prefer them. However, this is an area of personal preference, so pick what you like best.
The Doxy Go only has rumbly vibrations on the two lowest settings. The medium and high strengths (which you’ll likely use more) feel neutral or buzzy. The rumbly start provides a comfortable intro. And since I enjoy buzzy vibrations, I like the zingy feel of the higher top settings too.
But if you want deeper, rumbly vibrations that reach moderate strength, the Magic Wand Mini is a great alternative.
Comfort & Ease of Use

The Doxy Go is very comfortable and easy to use.
The firm head is small, so it’s easy to limit contact to only the spots where you want pressure. The flexible neck keeps the head from bumping uncomfortably against you – though it doesn’t provide as firm of pressure as more rigid wands. The smooth silicone head feels luxurious, with no distracting seams.
The small size and lighter weight make it easy to move around quickly. At only 6.31 inches long, it’s shorter than typical wands requiring a further reach. But the handle still has enough length to grip and leverage easily. Plus, it’s longer than most bullet vibrators (typically 3.5-5 inches long), with a distinct handle, so it’s easier to use than most mini vibrators.
You can feel some minor vibrations in the handle, but they’re only distracting if you’re especially sensitive to this (if so, the Magic Wand Mini does a better job of dampening hand vibes).
The controls allow you to increase and decrease power, which is very convenient. You can even adjust the strength of each pattern. Button placement is excellent for minimal hand-adjustment, without inhibiting your grip. It’s also waterproof, so cleaning is easy.
It’s a great choice if you value a comfortable mini wand with excellent controls!
Use During Sex
The Doxy Go is a great wand to use during sex.
Its small size is easy to fit into tight spots, which is especially helpful in positions facing each other. The smaller head provides precise contact, which you can limit to a particular area.
The short handle won’t bump against your partner. Though in positions facing away from your partner, some may prefer a longer handle so you don’t have to reach as far. Thankfully, it’s light and easy to move around, which is helpful in doggystyle and positions where you’re holding the wand up, so your arm doesn’t tire.

The Doxy Go has good noise levels. In our test, the actual decibel measurements were lower than most of my wands.
My partner couldn’t hear the low or medium settings from behind a closed bedroom door. He could barely hear the highest setting because the vibrations are somewhat high-pitched. But he thinks most people won’t be able to notice it – keep in mind, during our testing he stands right on the other side of our door and tries to hear the wand.
If you need something discreet, this could work. But there are stronger wands with similarly discreet noise levels, like the Viben Sultry.
Attachment Compatibility
The Doxy Go has poor attachment compatibility. Only two of my attachments fit it.
Most attachments are designed for larger wand heads. So, if you want something to fit a variety of attachments, the Magic Wand Plus is better. The Magic Wand Mini also fits a variety of mid-sized attachments.
Mount Compatibility
We test our wands’ mount compatibility with the Liberator Axis and Wanda mounts. The Doxy Go has poor compatibility with both.
The Doxy Go is too small to fit into the Wanda at all, and it’s really not worth using in the Axis. The Axis holds the Doxy Go tilted slightly upward while you lie across on your stomach. However, it’s so small that it doesn’t make good, consistent contact with your clit. So the vibes are minimal.
In this price range, the Magic Wand Plus or Magic Wand Mini work better with both mounts. For firmer pressure and broader contact, choose the Plus. For milder pressure and more precise contact, go with the Magic Wand Mini.

The Doxy Go is rechargeable and has an average battery life, lasting 75 minutes on high. Since it only reaches mild strengths, this isn’t especially impressive.
Options like the Magic Wand Mini are stronger and last longer (210 minutes in our test), which is helpful if you often forget to charge between uses.
Build Quality
The Doxy Go has excellent build quality. The weighted metal handle feels luxurious, even though it’s small.
The silicone head and buttons have a nice feel, and the flexible neck seems sturdy enough to withstand pressure without breaking.

Review Results
The Doxy Go can be a good, though somewhat expensive, option if you’re expecting it to perform like a bullet vibrator. If you’re expecting performance like a typical wand, then you’ll be disappointed.
You can find several stronger wands with a wider power range at this price (see alternatives below). If you view this toy as a buzzy bullet vibrator, then it’s a good option. But, if you prefer rumbly vibrations, try the We-Vibe Tango X.
Compare Alternatives
Magic Wand Mini
The Magic Wand Mini and Doxy Go are both compact wands, but the Magic Wand Mini is the better choice for most people because it offers a much more versatile power range.
Like the Doxy Go, it has soft, gradual power settings to warmup, but it also has 33% more strength on its high power. The Magic Wand Mini’s vibrations are also rumblier than the Doxy Go, which most people prefer.
The handle doesn’t vibrate as much as the Doxy Go’s, and it’s easier to leverage for firm pressure because of the longer length and stronger neck. Both are very comfortable and easy to use solo and during sex. But the Magic Wand Mini’s plush head is extra cushioned.
The Doxy Go’s head is smaller, making it better if you prefer focused stimulation over the Magic Wand’s broader stimulation, and the Go has the advantage of being fully waterproof for bath and shower play. However, the Magic Wand Mini offers a more versatile and better experience overall, with a longer battery life and better compatibility with mounts and attachments, all for about the same price.
Magic Wand Plus
The Magic Wand Plus is better than the Doxy Go if you want a classic wand experience.
It has more than double the strength. The 4 power settings take you through a wide range, including a gentle warmup, moderate build, and a high-intensity finish. The Plus also fits most wand attachments and mounts, making it more versatile for different kinds of play.
The Doxy Go is more similar to a bullet vibrator, which is better if you prefer milder intensity and portability. It’s also better for water-play since it’s IPX7 waterproof and rechargeable, which provides a different kind of versatility. But you can get similar vibrations and a portable, waterproof experience with less-expensive bullets and mini vibrators.
We-Vibe Tango X
We rate the Doxy Go (a micro wand with vibrations similar to bullet vibrators) and We-Vibe Tango X (a bullet vibrator) in different product categories, so their scores are not directly comparable. However, owning both of these toys, I can tell you they fulfill different preferences.
The Doxy Go is better if you enjoy buzzy vibrations and broader stimulation. It’s also a bit stronger than the We-Vibe Tango X. The longer length and separate handle make it easier to grip and leverage, and you don’t feel the vibrations in your hand as much.
The We-Vibe Tango X is better if you prefer rumbly vibrations with precise contact. The vibrations are significantly deeper-feeling and travel farther through your body compared to the Doxy Go’s. Their power ranges are similar, but the We-Vibe Tango X is a little weaker on high power. The slim, lipstick tip can fit into extra-tight spaces during sex, but since it’s shorter, your hand takes up more space, and you have to reach farther with your arm.
These cost about the same, and they’re both rechargeable and waterproof. The Doxy Go is consistently a bit louder, but the We-Vibe Tango X has a sporadic rattling sound that’s hard to prevent, which is similar in volume.
The biggest decision comes down to preference in vibration frequency. For rumbly vibrations, go with the We-Vibe Tango X. If you enjoy neutral and buzzy vibrations, or broader stimulation go with the Doxy Go.
Doxy Bullet
We rate the Doxy Bullet and Doxy Go wand in different product categories, so their scores are not directly comparable. However, I own both of these toys, and I can confidently say the Doxy Go is much better.
These cost about the same, they’re both IPX7 waterproof, and rechargeable. And they even reach the same top strength.
But the Doxy Go has a wider range, starting with gentler, more rumbly settings. The Go’s 5 power settings provide a more gradual build and better adjustability, allowing you to increase and decrease strength. The Doxy Bullet’s single button can be frustrating, requiring you to cycle through the settings.
The Doxy Bullet is much louder, to the point that I don’t enjoy using it because it’s annoying. And the handle vibrates too much. The Doxy Go is much more discreet and comfortable to hold – it’s the better option.
Doxy Die Cast
The Doxy Die Cast and Doxy Go are vastly different, and fill unique needs. The Doxy Die Cast is for people who crave extreme power, while the Doxy Go is for those who prefer milder, bullet-like stimulation.
The Doxy Die Cast is a corded, full-sized wand. It’s much larger, heavier, and more powerful (over 2.6x stronger) than the Go. This makes the Doxy Die Cast better for those who crave high intensity – it’s my strongest wand vibrator. The bulk gives it great natural pressure, and provides excellent broad stimulation. But it’s not as portable or quick to maneuver as the Doxy Go.
The Doxy Go is smaller, lighter, rechargeable, and waterproof, making it a much more portable and versatile option for travel or water play. The 5 settings begin gently and are great for a slow build, with a top strength that’s mild for a wand but comparable to my strongest bullets. So it’s better if you prefer milder vibrations or are easily overstimulated.
Doxy Original
The Doxy Original and Doxy Go serve completely different needs. The Original is for people who want intense, wand-style power, while the Go is for those who prefer milder, bullet-style stimulation.
The Doxy Original is larger, stronger and corded. So while it’s not as easy to maneuver, the vibrations are much more intense, and it works well with mounts and attachments. It’s best if you’re looking for at-home fun with vibrations that are stronger than non-wand toys.
The Doxy Go is smaller, lighter, rechargeable, and waterproof. This makes it a much more portable option for travel or use in the bath. Its strength is mild for a wand but comparable to powerful bullets, making it a good fit if you’re easily overstimulated or prefer less intense vibrations. It’s enough power for me, but if you want extreme strength, the Doxy Original is better.
Doxy Die Cast 3R
The Doxy Go and Doxy Die Cast 3R are designed for very different needs. The Die Cast 3R is a premium rechargeable wand meant for intense power, while the Doxy Go offers a much milder, bullet-like experience.
However, I don’t recommend the Doxy Die Cast 3R even for those seeking intensity. It has a surprisingly narrow power range, its vibrations are distractingly noisy, and the handle vibrates too much for comfort—all at a very high price.
The Doxy Go can be a good option for those who want a miniature wand with strength that’s more comparable to a strong bullet vibrator. It’s significantly quieter, more comfortable to hold, and its gentle, gradual settings are ideal for those who are easily overstimulated. Plus, it’s waterproof and much more affordable.
Doxy Die Cast Number 3
The Doxy Go and Doxy Die Cast 3 are designed for very different needs. The Die Cast 3 is a powerful, corded wand for those seeking intensity, while the Doxy Go is a mini wand for milder, bullet-like stimulation.
However, I don’t recommend the Doxy Die Cast 3, even for power lovers. Despite being strong, it has a narrow power range with no gentle settings, is noisy, and is overpriced for its performance. For those who want powerful, buzzy stimulation like this wand’s, the Doxy 3 USB-C is a much better alternative, as it’s significantly cheaper while providing a similar experience.
The Doxy Go, in contrast, is a good option for its intended purpose. It’s smaller, lighter, rechargeable, and waterproof, making it more versatile. Its strength is not comparable to large wand vibrators. But its gentle, rumbly starting settings provide a comfortable, gradual experience that is better for those who are easily overstimulated, while still topping out at a strength comparable to my strongest bullet vibrators.
Doxy 3 USB-C
The Doxy 3 USB-C and Doxy Go are similarly priced and each can work well for different preferences.
The Doxy 3 USB-C is great if you love strong, buzzy vibrations. It lacks any soft or rumbly warmup settings, but since I enjoy buzzy vibrations, it’s my favorite of the Doxy wands. This is a corded wand, so it’s not as versatile as the Doxy Go, but it’s one of their most affordable options.
The Doxy Go is better if you want strength more similar to a bullet vibrator. Its first settings are very soft and rumbly, which provides a more gradual start for those easily overstimulated. While it lacks the enormous vibration strength typically associated with wands, its power is comparable to my strongest bullets, and is plenty for me.
Its small size, IPX7 waterproof rating and rechargeable battery make it great if you want a portable toy for travel or fun in the bath or shower.
Doxy Die Cast R
The Doxy Go and Doxy Die Cast R serve completely different needs. The Die Cast R is for people who want extreme, cordless power, while the Go is for those who prefer milder, bullet-like stimulation.
The Doxy Die Cast R is the rechargeable version of the famous Doxy Die Cast. It is large, heavy, and delivers enormous power for those who crave intensity. However, a significant drawback is that, unlike the corded version, the Die Cast R has no gentle settings. It starts strong and only gets stronger, making it a poor choice if you need a soft warmup. It’s bulkier than the Doxy Go, so it’s slower to move around, but the large head is better for broad stimulation and mount/attachment compatibility.
The Doxy Go is the clear choice for milder vibrations. It’s small, light, and its five gradual power settings are perfect for those who are easily overstimulated, but are not for those who want the enormous strength of a typical wand. Its top setting is comparable to my strongest bullet vibrators. It is also waterproof, rechargeable, and much more affordable, making it a more versatile and comfortable option for most users.
