Le Wand Petite vs Lovehoney Deluxe Rechargeable Mini Massage Wand Side-By-Side Comparison
Performance Ratings
Our Verdict
While the Le Wand Petite is a decent wand, it doesn’t have the exceptional performance necessary to justify its high price tag.
Its small size does make it convenient and easy to use alone or during sex. And it has fair performance in pretty much every aspect. But nothing is amazing – including the vibrations. Neither especially powerful, nor especially rumbly. At this price, I expected more.
Unless you just love Le Wand’s luxury aesthetic, I don’t see much reason to buy this wand over less expensive options. If you want a small wand like the Le Wand Petite, I’d consider the cheaper Magic Wand Mini or Lovense Domi instead.
The Lovehoney Deluxe Mini Wand is one of my weakest wand vibrators. Its vibrations are weaker than many of my best bullet vibrators – they’re not comparable to the immense power you typically expect in a wand vibrator. It’s buzzier than other wands too, and it feels cheap.
While the Lovehoney Mini wand’s small, easily maneuverable size and budget-friendly price tag may be enticing – I think there a better options in this price range.

Vibrations: Power And Range
The Le Wand Petite’s top vibration strength is below half the power of my strongest wands. It’s still enough for me to orgasm with. But its overall strength is closer to my non-wand vibrators, like the Lelo Mona, than it is to my large wands.
This isn’t necessarily bad – many people will be happy with this level of power. I rarely use the upper settings on my strongest wands anyway. But for the price of the Le Wand Petite, I’d expect more power.
For example, the Magic Wand Mini has a touch more vibration power, and is around $50 cheaper. And Magic Wand is the most respected brand for wand vibrators.
Or if you’re looking for immense power, the BMS PalmPower Extreme and Magic Wand Plus are twice as strong as the Le Wand Petite – and each is less expensive.
Something I like about the Le Wand Petite is that it offers both soft, lower levels and stronger, upper levels with small increments in between. Its low levels are comfortably gentle, and there are 10 intensity levels before you reach its maximum power. So you can enjoy light stimulation when you need softer vibrations and gradually increase strength.
But overall, the vibration power and range is simply mediocre for how expensive the wand is. This has been my experience with Le Wand’s products generally. I also tested the Le Wand Baton and Le Wand Grand bullet vibrators, and found them to be underpowered for their price too.
The Lovehoney Mini Wand is one of my weakest wand vibrators. Its strength is more like a bullet vibrator than a typical wand, and it’s weaker than most of my bullets.
One aspect I enjoy is that it has 9 power levels in total. So I can start off very soft, and make small, incremental changes. It’s a nice warm-up toy. And even though its top level is much softer than other wands, I can still orgasm with it.
But wands are known for their sheer power – so if that’s what you’re expecting from this wand, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
The cheaper Blush Noje W4 has more than 2x the vibration strength. And the comparably-priced Orion Your New Favorite Wand has over 3.75x the power!
And if you want the extreme power wands are famous for, you’ll need to increase your budget a bit. The Magic Wand Plus is the least expensive wand (under $100) with these ultra-powerful vibration levels.
Vibrations: Frequency (Rumbliness)
When we rate wands, we award higher scores to those with rumbly (low-frequency) vibrations and lower scores to those with buzzy (high-frequency) vibrations. But there are plenty of people who enjoy buzzy vibrations from time to time. Including me! So consider your own preferences during this discussion.
The Le Wand Petite starts out extremely rumbly on its lowest powers. But since these levels are pretty soft, most people will only use them briefly. And as the power increases, it quickly becomes less rumbly.
All the power levels with substantial power are in the neutral range – neither rumbly nor buzzy.
This may work well for you – I personally enjoy neutral vibrations too. However, even if you like vibrations in this part of the spectrum there are better options available.
The FemmeFunn Ultra Wand is a cheaper option with moderately rumbly to neutral vibrations and stronger power. Or the BMS PalmPower Extreme has rumbly lower power levels, neutral high power levels, and substantially more vibration strength.
If you prefer those deep, rumbly vibrations, consider the Lovense Domi 2 if you like high power, or the Dame Com if you enjoy moderate strength.
We rate wands with rumbly vibrations higher than wands with buzzy vibrations because most people prefer these low-frequency vibrations. But if your preferences lean more towards the buzzy side, the Lovehoney Deluxe Rechargeable Mini might actually be a good fit for you.
Since it’s a low-powered wand vibrator, you’ll likely spend most of your time using the middle and high power levels. And these are neutral to buzzy-feeling.
I actually enjoy this wands buzziness from time to time. While I find powerful, buzzy vibrations overwhelming – I enjoy softer buzzy vibes like the Lovehoney Deluxe Mini’s occasionally.
But overall, most people prefer something stronger and more rumbly. The Blush Noje W4 and Magic Wand Mini are a better fit for most people since they’re a bit more rumbly.
Comfort & Ease of Use
The Le Wand Petite is quite comfortable and easy to use. I have no complaints about the Le Wand Petite in this area.
The head is a little firmer than I usually prefer, but its smaller size means I can comfortably fit and press it into tighter spaces. And it’s pretty easy to leverage for nice, firm pressure.
The buttons are easy to press and provide all the necessary functionality for a positive experience. There are separate buttons to increase and decrease power. So you don’t need to cycle through power levels. And a third button controls pattern selection.
But there are many wands that are just as comfortable and easy to use while costing less. So if this is important to you, check out some of the other wands that score an 8 or higher.
Because of the Lovehoney Mini’s small size and light weight, it’s very comfortable and easy to use. Maneuvering this wand and positioning its head exactly where you want the vibrations is simple.
I also like that the buttons let me adjust the strength easily. Rather than having one button to cycle through power levels, it has separate buttons to increase and decrease vibration strength.
I do have some complaints though. I wish the head was completely smooth rather than textured/ribbed. These ribs create little edges that occasionally poke or pinch me uncomfortably. It’s rare, but I need to be more conscious of positioning this head than smooth wands like the Blush Noje W4 or Magic Wand Mini.
I also find how close together the buttons are mildly annoying. I occasionally press the button to switch patterns when I mean to increase the power. Then I have to cycle back through the patterns to return to a constant vibration.
The Magic Wand Mini’s buttons are farther apart and easier to feel. So I don’t find myself accidentally hitting the wrong button.
Use During Sex
The Le Wand Petite is also enjoyable during sex.
The smaller handle and head take up minimal space and don’t get in the way. It’s easy to fit the Le Wand Petite between your bodies.
However, since the head is more firm I find it occasionally bumps uncomfortably into my pubic bone in positions where my partner and I are facing each other – like Missionary and Cowgirl.
So I prefer it in positions from behind like Spooning or Doggystyle where this is not an issue.
The Magic Wand Mini is similar in size to the Le Wand Petite, but it has a squishier head that I find more comfortable. I prefer it during sex over the Le Wand Petite. Or if you want an even smaller head for those extra-tight spaces, the Lovense Domi is excellent!
Either option is better during sex than the Le Wand Petite at a lower cost, so I don’t see a compelling reason to consider the Petite during partnered sex.
The small size and light weight of this wand make it easy to maneuver into tight spaces during sex. But I never reach for this wand because its vibrations are too weak.
The vibes are hardly noticeable when they’re competing with the additional stimulation I’m getting during penetration. I think most people will want something with more oomph.
The Lovehoney Mini also has a really flexible neck, so I can’t press the vibes firmly into me as I enjoy during sex.
If using your wand with a partner is important to you, the Blush Noje W4 or VeDO Wini are better choices in this price range. It’s also small and easily maneuverable – but its vibrations are stronger and its neck is less flimsy.
Noise
When we tested the Le Wand Petite’s decibel levels, it measured slightly louder than other wands with comparable power.
In practical use, I can use the mid and lower power levels without my partner hearing from the other side of a closed bedroom door. But he can hear the upper levels. So if you’re trying to avoid being overheard, sticking to lower powers will help. Turning on a fan or music in the bedroom also masked the sound of the Le Wand Petite.
If you want something more discreet, there are several quieter wand vibrators with comparable or greater power. Some of my favorites are the Viben Sultry (budget-friendly) or We-Vibe Wand 2 (better but more expensive).
Note: The sound levels recorded in the video and measurements above were taken before the rattling sound developed which we discuss under Build Quality. For a listen into the wand’s sound now, see the video here.
The Lovehoney Deluxe Rechargeable Mini wand is definitely quiet. But it’s quiet because the vibrations are weak.
There are many wands with much greater power that remain discreet. For instance, the Viben Sultry has more than 4 times the Lovehoney Mini’s power. And it’s still inaudible on the other side of a closed door at every power level.
Attachment Compatibility
For a mid-sized wand, the Le Wand Petite has great attachment compatibility.
Le Wand designed several high-quality attachments specifically for the Le Wand Petite. These attachments provide G-spot, prostate, anal, or dual-stimulation. Or they can add textured clit stimulation.
The Lovense Domi’s attachments also fit the Le Wand Petite – this adds the option for penis stimulation.
But keep in mind, the Le Wand Petite’s attachments also fit other mid-sized wands like the Magic Wand Mini. So you can still consider other wands if you want to use the Petite’s attachments.
Because the Lovehoney Mini is so small, it has very little compatibility with wand attachments.
Lovehoney designed a G-spot attachment (the Queen G) specifically for this wand. But none of my other wand attachments fit the Lovehoney Mini’s small head.
Mount Compatibility
I test my wand vibrators with Liberator’s wand mounts: the Axis and Wanda. These hold your wand for you so you can enjoy hands-free stimulation.
The Le Wand Petite gives excellent clit stimulation when placed in the Liberator Wanda mount. I find mid-sized wands like the Le Wand Petite rest at the best height in this mount. It’s easy to straddle the mount and keep the Petite in good contact with my clit. And I can easily lean forward to create more space for penetration while keeping the Petite on my clit.
The Le Wand Petite works decently with the Liberator Axis, but it takes some extra effort to get quality contact and pressure from the wand. With the Axis, it’s easiest to lie on your stomach over the top of the mount. It holds the wand angled out to the side at a slight upward angle between your legs.
I find angled or curved wands are best with the Axis because it places the head of the wand closer to where your clit is naturally positioned. Since the Le Wand Petite has a straight handle, it’s not quite as effortless as wands like the BMS PalmPower Extreme or Dame Com (two of my favorite wands to use with mounts).
I test my wands the Liberator Axis and Wanda – wand mounts for hands-free play. Unfortunately, the Lovehoney Deluxe Mini is too small for both of them.
It completely falls into the Liberator Wanda mount. And though its head sticks out past the Axis’ opening, its not far enough to provide any useful clit stimulation.
If hands-free play with mounts is important to you, go with something larger. The Dame Com is one of my favorites to use with wand mounts. Its a great size and the curved shape keeps its head in excellent contact with my clit. Or for something slightly more budget-friendly, the FemmeFunn Ultra Wand works fairly well with mounts too.
Battery Life
This wand has a decent battery life. During our testing, it lasted 105 minutes continuously vibrating at its highest power. There is also a Plug-In version with nearly identical performance.
But for the price, there are many options with comparable or better performance – including more powerful toys that last longer on high power. For instance, the Magic Wand Rechargeable is one of the most powerful wand vibrators and lasts over 4 hours on high.
The Lovehoney Deluxe Rechargeable Mini has below average battery life compared to other wand vibrators.
It lasts for around 95 minutes continuously vibrating on high power. This is enough for most people, but you can find more powerful wands that last longer. For example, the Magic Wand Mini lasts 3.5 hours on high power. And it’s nearly 3x stronger than the Lovehoney Deluxe Mini!
Build Quality
The construction of the Le Wand Petite feels pretty well-made. The head feels durable and firm. The handle looks metallic, but it’s actually a thin plastic that feels a little cheap, but helps keep the wand from being too heavy.
The Lovehoney Deluxe Rechargeable Mini’s plastic is very lightweight to the point of feeling cheap. Although the neck is extremely flexible, it still feels reasonably strong. But the weak, buzzy motor feels poor quality and has developed a bit of a rattling sound the more we’ve used it. The vibration power occasionally wavers, especially on the low settings.
