Vibrations: Power And Range

Max Power Rating 6.9 6.4
Power Range Rating 6.2 6.9
Power vs Frequency Graph
How Strong Is Each Power?

The Blush Noje W4 only has 2 power levels – low and high.

So it has a limited range. But I find both levels are comfortable and enjoyable – it’s a reasonable step up between the first and second settings.

The Noje W4’s first level is soft, but still impactful – I use it while I’m getting warmed up. Its second level has moderate strength, which easily carries me to orgasm.

But it doesn’t reach the knock-your-socks-off power many people associate with wand vibrators. The Satisfyer Wand-er Woman is the most budget-friendly option with excellent power. Or, if you can increase your budget a bit, the Magic Wand Plus is the most powerful wand under $100.

Even though the Blush is softer compared to other wands, it’s actually still more powerful than my favorite non-wand vibrators. You can think of it as a slightly bigger, especially powerful bullet vibrator.

Blush Noje W4 and Similar Strength Toys
The Blush Noje W4 in order of strength compared to other vibrators (Left to right: We-Vibe Tango X, Lelo Mona 2, We-Vibe Nova 2, Blush Noje W4, Magic Wand Plus)

If you’re new to wands and are basing your search on your experience with other handheld clitoral vibrators, the Blush might be a nice starting place –  especially for the price.

The Doxy Go has a very limited power range with only mild settings. It reaches a 3.75 out of 10 strength on high (on a scale compared to wand vibrators). Its power is more similar to my strongest bullet vibrators. In fact, its top strength feels about the same as the highest setting of the Doxy bullet (which I rate a 10 out of 10 strength compared to other bullets).

It’s enough strength for me, and could work if you don’t need the enormous intensity wands are famous for – many people don’t. The gradual power settings in this gentle range are helpful if you’re easily overstimulated.

But if you expect a typical wand’s immense power, this will be disappointing. For a similar price, the Magic Wand Plus offers more than double the power and a much wider range of intensity. Or if you still want a mini wand, the Magic Wand Mini is another stronger option in this price range.

Doxy Wands lined up from strongest to weakest. From left to right: Doxy Die Cast, Die Cast R, Original, Die Cast 3R, Die Cast 3, Doxy 3 USB-C, and Doxy Go.

Compared to other Doxy wands, this is the weakest. Most of them even start at nearly double the strength.

Vibrations: Frequency (Rumbliness)

Rumbliness Rating 7.3 5.0
Power vs Frequency Graph
Frequency on Low Power 46 Hz 52 Hz
Median Frequency 61 Hz 85 Hz
Frequency on High Power 75 Hz 103 Hz
Power and Frequency Balance 5.7 3.5

Higher scores in this category indicate a more rumbly wand since that’s most people’s preference. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a better choice for you. Ultimately, vibration frequency (rumbly or buzzy) is just that – a preference. So choose based on what you enjoy!

The first power level of the Blush is in the “extremely rumbly” range. But the second power (also the highest power) is in the neutral range – though it’s very close to what we would consider “moderately rumbly.”

Since this is a mid-powered wand, you’ll probably spend most of your time on that higher setting. So if rumbliness is your priority, there may be better wands for you. Though personally, I really enjoy how the Noje’s vibrations feel at this strength.

If you strongly prefer lower-frequency vibrators, the Maia Zoe is another budget-friendly wand that’s a bit more rumbly than the Blush Noje W4. It has 3 power levels, all of which are in the extremely or moderately rumbly range.

Blush Noje W4 vs Lovense Domi vs Maia Zoe vs Dame Com - Vibration Power vs Frequency Graph

Or if you have a greater budget, the Dame Com is comparably powered and extremely rumbly.

Or the Lovense Domi is much stronger with most of its levels in the extremely rumbly range.

But I’ve been satisfied with the Noje’s vibrations.

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because most people prefer them. However, this is an area of personal preference, so pick what you like best.

The Doxy Go only has rumbly vibrations on the two lowest settings. The medium and high strengths (which you’ll likely use more) feel neutral or buzzy. The rumbly start provides a comfortable intro. And since I enjoy buzzy vibrations, I like the zingy feel of the higher top settings too.

But if you want deeper, rumbly vibrations that reach moderate strength, the Magic Wand Mini is a great alternative.

The Blush Noje W4 is quite comfortable and easy to use!

The smaller, rounded head enables you to easily position the Noje exactly where you want it.  And though the head is fairly firm the neck’s flexibility still makes it feel extremely comfy.

There’s a lip on the Noje’s handle which I also find comfortable to hold. You can support the weight of the toy with your finger if the handle gets slick with lube. Since it’s compact and lightweight, it’s easy to move around at your whim (alone or during sex).

Blush Noje W4 Lip Hold
The lip on the Blush Noje W4, which makes it easy to hold.

Even without a curve, I find the Noje W4 easy to leverage for good pressure. Though the neck flexes a bit, I can still push the vibes deep into me.

The controls are the only aspect of comfort & ease of use I think could be improved. The Blush Noje W4 has one button, so you can’t move forward and backward through power levels. You must cycle through them.

But since there are only 2 power levels, one button is manageable. You’ll likely spend most of your time on high power unless you really enjoy vibration patterns.

The Blush Noje W4 is also IPX6 splashproof, which means it can resist high-pressure heavy sprays of water. So though you can’t submerge it in the bathtub, you can clean it easily under a faucet and don’t need to worry about keeping running water away from any part.

The Doxy Go is very comfortable and easy to use.

The firm head is small, so it’s easy to limit contact to only the spots where you want pressure. The flexible neck keeps the head from bumping uncomfortably against you – though it doesn’t provide as firm of pressure as more rigid wands. The smooth silicone head feels luxurious, with no distracting seams.

The small size and lighter weight make it easy to move around quickly. At only 6.31 inches long, it’s shorter than typical wands requiring a further reach. But the handle still has enough length to grip and leverage easily. Plus, it’s longer than most bullet vibrators (typically 3.5-5 inches long), with a distinct handle, so it’s easier to use than most mini vibrators.

Doxy Die Cast with Doxy Go and We-Vibe Tango X
The Doxy Go (middle) length compared to a full-sized wand, the Doxy Die Cast (left) and a bullet vibrator, the We-Vibe Tango X (right)

You can feel some minor vibrations in the handle, but they’re only distracting if you’re especially sensitive to this (if so, the Magic Wand Mini does a better job of dampening hand vibes).

The controls allow you to increase and decrease power, which is very convenient. You can even adjust the strength of each pattern. Button placement is excellent for minimal hand-adjustment, without inhibiting your grip. It’s also waterproof, so cleaning is easy.

It’s a great choice if you value a comfortable mini wand with excellent controls!

Use During Sex

Use During Sex Rating 9.1 8.4

Doxy Go Fit in Tight Space
Spooning 10.0 7.5
Doggystyle 7.5 9.0
Modified Missionary 9.5 9.0
Cowgirl 9.5 8.0

The Blush Noje W4 is one of the easiest wand vibrators to use during sex. It performs best in Spooning, Modified Missionary, and Cowgirl positions.

Because of its compact size, it’s really simple to maneuver and make fine-tuned adjustments. You can easily press the wand’s head wherever you want. And it fits in tight spaces during sex better than bulkier full-sized wands.

Doggystyle’s the only position where I prefer a longer handle so I don’t have to reach as far. But The Noje W4 is still reasonably good in this position.

For such a budget-friendly wand vibrator, I’m really happy with its performance during sex. As long as you’re happy with the more limited power range, it’s a great option to use with a partner and save you some money.

The Doxy Go is a great wand to use during sex.

Its small size is easy to fit into tight spots, which is especially helpful in positions facing each other. The smaller head provides precise contact, which you can limit to a particular area.

The short handle won’t bump against your partner. Though in positions facing away from your partner, some may prefer a longer handle so you don’t have to reach as far. Thankfully, it’s light and easy to move around, which is helpful in doggystyle and positions where you’re holding the wand up, so your arm doesn’t tire.

The Blush Noje W4 is one of the quietest wand vibrators we tested!

And the quieter wands are either less powerful (like the Romp Flip) or the same power (like the Lovehoney Mantric). So it has good power while remaining discreet.

My partner can’t hear either power level from the other side of our closed bedroom door. So you don’t need to worry if you live with other people.

The Doxy Go has good noise levels. In our test, the actual decibel measurements were lower than most of my wands.

My partner couldn’t hear the low or medium settings from behind a closed bedroom door. He could barely hear the highest setting because the vibrations are somewhat high-pitched. But he thinks most people won’t be able to notice it – keep in mind, during our testing he stands right on the other side of our door and tries to hear the wand.

Doxy Go and Viben Sultry
The Doxy Go (left) with a stronger, but still quiet alternative, the Viben Sultry (right).

If you need something discreet, this could work. But there are stronger wands with similarly discreet noise levels, like the Viben Sultry.

Attachment Compatibility

Attachment Compatibility Rating 1.7 3.3
Blush Noje W4 Compatible Wand Attachments
Doxy Go Compatible Wand Attachments
Number of Attachments Rating 0.8 1.7
Stimulation Variety 2.5 5.0

I have 25 wand attachments representing a wide variety of options, and I test their compatibility with all my wands.

Because the Blush Noje W4 is a mini wand (more akin to the size of G-spot and rabbit vibrators than a typical wand), it has minimal compatibility with attachments. Only the Queen G Lovehoney attachment worked with the Blush Noje W4.

So you can get a G-spot attachment, but not much else.

Most wand attachments are designed for the Magic Wands and other full-sized wands. So if attachment compatibility is important to you, check out the Magic Wand Rechargeable or Magic Wand Plus.

The Doxy Go has poor attachment compatibility. Only two of my attachments fit it.

Most attachments are designed for larger wand heads. So, if you want something to fit a variety of attachments, the Magic Wand Plus is better. The Magic Wand Mini also fits a variety of mid-sized attachments.

Compatibility with Wanda 0.0 0.0

As with attachments, wand mounts and the Blush Noje W4 don’t get along well. So you’ll need to hold this wand.

Wand mounts are intended for mid to full-sized wands, and the Noje W4 is just too small for them.

It’s completely unusable with the Liberator Wanda mount – it falls right through. And it technically stays in my Axis mount, which grips wands more tightly. But when the Noje’s placed in the Axis mount, I need to angle my body in uncomfortably to get stimulation from it.

So if hands-free play with a wand mount is important to you, you’ll need a larger wand vibrator.

Wand In Use with Axis Overlay
My typical position when using the Liberator Axis mount (demonstrated with BMS PalmPower Extreme)

If you have the budget, the BMS PalmPower Extreme is my favorite wand to use with mounts. It’s just the right size, and its angled head helps achieve a comfortable, stimulating position.

We test our wands’ mount compatibility with the Liberator Axis and Wanda mounts. The Doxy Go has poor compatibility with both.

The Doxy Go is too small to fit into the Wanda at all, and it’s really not worth using in the Axis. The Axis holds the Doxy Go tilted slightly upward while you lie across on your stomach. However, it’s so small that it doesn’t make good, consistent contact with your clit. So the vibes are minimal.

In this price range, the Magic Wand Plus or Magic Wand Mini work better with both mounts. For firmer pressure and broader contact, choose the Plus. For milder pressure and more precise contact, go with the Magic Wand Mini.

Battery Life on High Power 85 Minutes 75 Minutes

Running continuously on high power, the Blush Noje W4 lasted just under an hour and a half in our testing.

While shorter than some, this is a reasonable battery life. I can typically use it for several sessions between charges. And in practical use, you’ll likely use the lower level too which will make the Noje W4 last longer.

Especially for such a budget-friendly wand vibrator, I’m happy with its battery.

The Doxy Go is rechargeable and has an average battery life, lasting 75 minutes on high. Since it only reaches mild strengths, this isn’t especially impressive.

Options like the Magic Wand Mini are stronger and last longer (210 minutes in our test), which is helpful if you often forget to charge between uses.

Build Quality

Build Quality Rating 8.0 9.0

The Blush Noje W4 has a plastic handle and smooth silicone head that are sturdy and well made. It has a plastic button which feels a little cheap. Overall, the build is not problematic, but this wand just doesn’t feel as luxurious as some of the pricier options.

The Doxy Go has excellent build quality. The weighted metal handle feels luxurious, even though it’s small.

The silicone head and buttons have a nice feel, and the flexible neck seems sturdy enough to withstand pressure without breaking.
