Satisfyer Pro 2 Review

Our Verdict

3.6/5

The Satisfyer Pro 2 can be a great budget friendly air pulse toy. It’s excellent for beginners who want a wide intensity range at an inexpensive price. It was one of the first clitoral suction toys I tried and loved. With 11 speeds, the Pro 2 offers a great intensity range for intense clitoral stimulation. However, its pulses are less deep than more expensive models and I find its firmer tips less comfortable. If you’re on a budget or new to clit suction toys, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a great entry point. But if you already have some air pulse toys I’d look to Womanizer models for an upgrade.

Discount Codes:

Pros

  • 11 intensity speeds for a slow climb to climax. This is a lot more intensity levels than many other budget friendly options
  • Affordable price makes the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG a great tester for beginners. Not everyone loves air pulse toys so it’s good to start with a budget toy.

Cons

  • Airy pulses keep sensations more shallow than high end toys
  • Firm silicone tip is less comfortable than the softer tips of premium Womanizer toys
  • Bulkier shape makes it more difficult to use during sex than more compact air pulse toys like the Womanizer Starlet 2

Do you remember your first sips of moscato?

How you loved the taste and thought there was nothing like it?

And then you tried other types of wine, and your palette developed and soon you realized that the first one you had tried wasn’t as good as you thought it was?

But it gave you some really fun nights and was pretty damn cheap!

That’s kind of how I feel about the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation (NG). If I would have written this review after I tried it the first or second time, I would be raving about the orgasmic pleasure waves and telling all my friends to buy one.

Satisfyer Pro 2 Packaging

I do still tell some friends to buy one – but now just the friends who are just getting into clit suction toys and are on a tight budget. Or nervous they won’t love the more expensive toys.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 NG is one of the least expensive air pulse toys on the market. As I’ve grown a large collection of air pulse vibrators, I’ve come to crave other higher quality clit suction toys.

That being said.

As a beginner – I loved the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG! And it served me well.

So if you are new to air pulse toys and are shopping with a tight budget, the Satisfyer Pro 2 can be a great option for you. I’ll help you decide in this Satisfyer Pro 2 review.

If you’ve been around the clitoral suction block, I’d recommend trying a bit of an upgrade like the Womanizer Premium or even the only-slightly-pricier Womanizer Starlet 2.

Satisfyer Pro 2 vs Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation

Before we get into the nitty gritty of the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG, let’s talk about the Satisfyer Pro 2 Original.

Satisfyer no longer manufactures the original model, which looks almost identical to the Pro 2 NG.

But the next generation has a couple small changes and one major improvement

The biggest difference is the addition of the + and – buttons, replacing the single button used to cycling through intensities.

Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation vs Satisfyer Pro 2 Buttons

This is a huge gamechanger.

I’m someone who likes to play around with moving up and down intensity levels, so I would not like the single button.

At. All.

I think you’ve really got to have the ability to decrease the intensity too. It can be easy to think you’re ready for the next bump up in power only to get there and find out: yaaa – I’d rather be on the lower intensity still.

The intensity levels remained the same. Both models have a separate on/off button.

Satisfyer did improve their engines, so the NG is quieter, though still louder than I would prefer. It’s louder than high end toys like the Womanizer Premium, and louder than the exceptionally quiet Womanizer Liberty.

The new model has a slightly toned-down copper color and a dimmer LED light than the previous model.

So if you’ve got the Satisfyer Pro 2 Original and love it should you upgrade?

Yes.

Upgrading to the Pro 2 NG would be a great idea just for the + and – buttons. Or at least grab another toy that lets you decrease intensity. Air pulse toys are not a sex toy that should make you cycle through levels.

How Does the Satisfyer Pro 2 Feel?

The silicone tip creates a dome around the clitoris and blows sweet air waves. The sensation to me is most comparable to someone sucking on my clit – though some people totally disagree with this comparison so your mileage may vary.

It differs from traditional vibrators in that the sensation is touchless. While the pressure waves can feel super intense, the touchless technology makes it easier to keep going for orgasm number two (or three or four).

How Does the Satisfyer Pro 2 Work

The quality and intensity of the air pulses differ from toy to toy. Each toy has a set of intensity levels or speeds. The spectrum of the quality of the air pulses runs from lighter and “airy” (felt more on the surface level) to “thuddy” (felt deeper in your body).

Womanizer toys tend to have thuddier pulses, whereas Satisfyer toys tend to be more airy. I would describe the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG as airy.

People usually associate thuddier pulses with better quality. But each person has their own preference, and you might find that you like the airy pulses more than thuddier toys.

And if this is your first toy, it can honestly take a while to even be able to tell a difference between airy and thuddy pulses.

I couldn’t feel the difference at first.

So if this is your first air pulse toy, it may be a good idea to grab a more budget-friendly “airy” option like the Satisfyer Pro 2. If you want a comparably priced toy with thuddy vibes, check out the Rose vibrator (review here)

Then you can test the tech and see if you enjoy these toys before dishing out cash on an upgrade

Satisfyer Pro 2 – Lot’s of Intensity on a Budget

One big thing the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG has going for it is the intensity range.

With 11 speeds, the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG has a really good range for the price. More than you can get from the more budget-friendly models of premium brands like Womanizer.

For comparison, the Womanizer Starlet 2 (their cheapest clit suction toy) only has 4 speeds which start out more intense and finish less intense than the Pro 2 NG.

Satisfyer Pro 2 NG vs Womanizer Starlet 2

While the pulses are higher quality or “thuddier,” the $30 price jump to the Starlet 2 might not make it worth it to someone looking for a wide intensity range.

If you’re looking for a toy with slow intensity, it’s hard to beat the Satisfyer Pro 2’s lowest levels. If the highest level leaves you desperately wanting more, you’ll need to invest in a toy like the Womanizer Classic or Womanizer Premium.

Having eleven levels (plus the new and improved + and – buttons) gives you or your playmate so much control. You can slowly build up to orgasm by climbing the intensities without any large jumps, or you can play around with edging by backing off to the lower levels to prolong the experience.

Stimulation Depth

Some toys have pulses that travel deeper into the internal clitoral network, while others stay localized to the exterior of the clitoris. Satisfyer pulsations are airy and feel more surface level.

Less resonant.

If your clitoris is pretty picky, the stimulation depth of the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG might leave you dissatisfied. For a bit more you can try the Lelo Sona 2, which is known for deeper pulsations.

And any Womanizer toy would offer deeper sensations as well, but would have a higher price point.

And as we discussed – less range: the main advantage of the Satisfyer Pro 2 for its price.

Also remember, it can take time to distinguish between lighter pulses and thuddier pulses so I think it can be a good idea to pick a more airy toy that’s less expensive to start out.

Comfort

If you’ve read more than one review of this toy, then you probably know that it’s either hit or miss.

Glamour raves about the comfort and intensity of the Pro 2 NG. An Amazon reviewer joked that the user needed an exorcism because their spirit left their body during use.

But if you search other corners of the web, you’ll find a community of people who just don’t jive with the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG.

I’m somewhere in the middle.

The silicone head of the Pro 2 NG is a little firmer and larger than I’d like. Compared to the softer, smaller tips of Womanizer toys (plus many Womanizer toys come with an extra head), the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG does not feel as comfortable to me.

Satisfyer Pro 2 NG vs Womanizer Tip

And the broad, soft, flattened lip of the Lelo Sila set new standards on comfort for me

But the Satisfyer Pro 2’s firmer lip still fits well and gets the job done.

Remember – this is really meant to be an inexpensive intro to the clit suction world.

After trying the Satisfyer Pro 2, you’ll likely know if you want to dive deeper or keep with traditional vibrators.

Verdict

The Satisfyer Pro 2 isn’t my personal favorite toy.

But it used to be.

And for the price, it offers a lot of great stimulation.

I still think it makes an excellent intro to the world of air pulse toys without making you empty your purse.

If you’re a beginner, you might love this toy as much as I did.

I was, and still am, impressed with the intensity range. The eleven different speeds, along with the improved + and – buttons allow me to move up and down in my own time. Despite the “airyness” of the pulses, the Pro 2 has never failed to bring me to climax when I have been adequately lubricated and have a good seal.

If you’re a beginner wanting to try out air pulse toys, I think it’s a good idea to start here.

Not everyone loves clitoral suction toys, so I think it’s best to start with an inexpensive model like the Satisfyer Pro 2.

If you’ve tried clit suction toys before and dislike the “airy” sensations and desire deeper stimulation, I’d look elsewhere. The Womanizer Starlet 2 is another great toy at a fairly inexpensive price.

How Easy is it to Keep the Satisfyer Pro 2 on Your Clit?

While I don’t find the firmer silicone tip of the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG as comfortable as some other air pulse toys, I don’t have any problem keeping it on my clit.

As long as I am properly lubricated, I can keep it in place during solo time. Applying a water-based lube around the tip makes it much easier to keep the seal.

Use water-based lube with Satisfyer Pro 2

Too much movement, whether with a partner or dildo or whatever makes you move, can make it difficult to keep from breaking the seal. I usually have trouble using these kinds of toys during partnered sex, but it can be done. I’ve found that it works best when my partner and I are in a spooning position.

Still, since the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a bit bulkier I find it easier to use smaller toys like the Womanizer Starlet 2 during sex.

Satisfyer does not include another silicone tip with the Satisfyer Pro 2, but they are available to purchase separately on their website.

Is the Satisfyer Pro 2 Loud

This toy is pretty quiet…

On the lower levels.

I usually have a fan going in my room and I can hardly hear the first three levels with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation.

The fourth and fifth levels are definitely noticeable in the same room. There’s no sneaking around with the sixth level and beyond.

If you’re using the toy in a quiet house on the highest 5 levels, the people in the other room may hear you, especially if the seal breaks. When the seal breaks, your secret is out.

How to Quiet The Satisfyer Pro 2

So the question remains – how can you quiet the sound?

Well unfortunately since the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a budget-level clit suction toy, it doesn’t have built in features like the Womanizer Premium’s Smart Silence. The Womanizer Premium will automatically stop humming when it senses a break in the seal.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 doesn’t have anything like this.

BUT –

If you’ve got some music on, a tv going, or a loud fan in your room, you can still get away with discreetly using the higher levels with someone in the next room over. That’s enough sound to drown out the Satisfyer Pro 2’s pulses.

If you enjoy the lower levels – which I can still climax to personally – then the noise should be fine for you. If you need a quiet toy at the higher intensities, you should check out the Womanizer Premium. The Starlet 2 would also be a quieter option than the Satisfyer Pro 2.

Cost – What Do You Get for the Price

Bam – here it is.

The main reason the Satisfyer Pro 2 is still worth purchasing for many people.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 NG retails for about $40.

Compared to other popular clitoral suction toys, the Satisfyer Pro 2 is waaaaay on the less expensive side.

As with anything you buy for a lower price, there are some tradeoffs – mainly the less thuddy pulses and the firmer, less comfortable tip.

I think for a lot of people those trade offs are worth the substantially low cost of the Satisfyer Pro 2 – especially if this is your first air pulse toy.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 still has an incredible intensity range for the price.

If you want to spend a bit more, the Lelo Sona 2 Cruise has very deep pulsations, but lacks the slower speeds of the Satisfyer Pro 2.

For much thuddier pulsations, consider the Starlet 2 for about $30 more. But here the tradeoff is on intensity levels. The Starlet 2 has a much smaller intensity range with only 4 speeds.

At a lower budget than the premium models like the well-named Womanizer Premium, you’ll have to make a trade-off somewhere.

Either on thuddiness or intensity range.

If you think you’d rather have a wide intensity range and are okay with airy pulses, I think the Satisfyer Pro 2 is the better choice.

Satisfyer Pro 2 Review Results

I think the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG is a great toy if you:

  • Desire a wide intensity range with many speeds
  • Enjoy intense clitoral stimulation
  • Are looking for a budget friendly air pulse toy
  • Are looking for your first clitoral suction toy

There are better alternatives to the Satisfyer Pro 2 NG if you:

  • Desire deeper, thuddier pulsations
  • Want an easy toy to use during sex
  • Already have some clitoral suction toys and are looking for an upgrade

How to Use the Satisfyer Pro 2

Using a clitoral suction toy for the first time can be… confusing. I remember struggling to figure out if I was even using it right. So here are some quick tips for beginners:

  1. Lube. Lube. Lube. I was not an avid lube-user until I started using these toys, and now I can’t live without it. Make sure to use water-based lube with these silicone toys to ensure a good seal.
  2. Spread your labia and cover the clitoris with the dome-like tip. You don’t need to expose the clit. The pulsations should stimulate through the clitoral hood.
  3. Play around with the intensity levels. Build up to the highest intensity that doesn’t feel too intense and then come back down if you feel overstimulated.
  4. The Satisfyer Pro 2 is also completely waterproof so you can take it in the bath with you. A lot of people find the water also helps them keep a good seal.

Quick tips:

  • Clitoral suction toys are intense, and you may want to start out slow. Don’t feel the need to reach those higher levels. There are plenty of times I still stay on the lower levels of my air pulse toys. Sometimes these toys can seem to force an orgasm too fast. On the bright side, many users (including myself) have been able to orgasm multiple times in a few minutes with these toys. I like to come down a couple speeds right before climax because these puppies are STRONG.
  • Each body is different. You are not doing anything wrong if you dislike the sensations. You might need a toy with slower speeds or a different kind of tip. Clitoral suction toys are not for everybody so its okay not to enjoy them. Or you may just need time to work through the learning curve.

Satisfyer Pro 2 Alternatives

Womanizer Starlet 2 and Liberty – Thuddier Pulses but Less Range

Womanizer toys are known for having thuddier pulses than Satisfyer. These sensations travel deeper into the internal clitoral network and feel less focused on the external clit.

At just a slightly higher cost than the Satisfyer Pro 2, the Starlet 2 offers much thuddier pulses, but lacks the slower speeds of the Satisfyer Pro 2. The Starlet only offers 4 speeds, the highest speed is close to the Satisfyer Pro 2’s sixth speed.

But the 4 speeds are thuddy. Each one of the Starlet 2’s air pulse speeds feels like quality.

I’ve also found the smaller size of the Womanizer Starlet 2 makes it much easier to use during partnered sex. It takes up less space and is easier to maneuver around.

Or for about $20 more than the Starlet 2, the Womanizer Liberty offers 6 speeds (2 more than the Starlet 2) which are comparable to the Satisfyer Pro 2’s top 9 speeds.

Beginner Clitoral Suction Toy Recommendations

I recommend the Womanizer Starlet 2 or Womanizer Liberty over the Satisfyer Pro 2 if:

  • You’re looking for a budget clit suction toy and would rather have higher quality pulses than a wide intensity range.
  • You want a toy that’s easier to use during sex. The Starlet 2 has been amazing for me during sex. (The Liberty can be more difficult so go with the Starlet 2 if that’s a priority for you)

Womanizer Premium – Luxury Upgrade

I will forever sing the praises of the Womanizer Premium.

The Womanizer Premium quickly became my personal favorite sex toy.

Yes, the Womanizer Premium is $199.

But damn. It is luxurious!

It has the best of both worlds – 12 intensity speeds and incredibly thuddy sensations.

It’s exceptionally quiet.

It’s sleek. It’s beautiful. It has Smart Silence technology, which pauses the pulsing when it is not in contact with skin. It has an autopilot feature, which shuffles the intensity speeds for out-of-control orgasms.

You get what you pay for. The only downside is that – well – the Womanizer Premium is a lot to pay for.

But if you already have other clitoral suction toys that you enjoy I don’t think there’s a need to grab a budget model like the Satisfyer Pro 2.

It’s time for an upgrade.

Also if this is your first clit suction toy and you just want to start with the best, make sure you buy the Womanizer Premium through Lovehoney.

They’re the only sex toy retailer I’m aware of that let’s you return a toy simply for not enjoying it.

Since not everyone loves clit suction toys like I do, that can be a great way to make the purchase risk-free.

I recommend the Womanizer Premium over the Satisfyer Pro 2 if:

  • You already know you enjoy clitoral suction toys and want an upgrade
  • Would rather dive in head first with a very high quality toy
  • Want excellent range and lovely deep pulses
  • Need a really quiet toy

Check out my Womanizer Premium review for an in-depth discussion of this clit suction toy.

Overall Thoughts

The Satisfyer Pro 2 NG was one of the first clitoral suction toys I tried. I was blown away by the intense clitoral stimulation and the intensity range.

For the exceptionally low price for this type of toy it can be a good buy.

It’s hard to find a toy with 11 speeds. Let alone one under $50.

As my collection grew, I’ve come to enjoy higher quality air pulse toys more. I started wanting thuddier toys instead of Satisfyer’s airy pulses. I found that I like Womanizer’s silicone tips more than the Satisfyer Pro 2.

Of course – I’ve got to pay more for that.

I still believe that the Satisfyer Pro 2 is a great toy for beginners, but I will continue to reach for my Womanizer Premium or Starlet 2.
