If you’re like me and you’ve had TikTok for a while, then you’ve probably seen a bunch of “TikTok made me buy it” videos. I have successfully resisted the urge to buy those honeycomb leggings, sunset lamp, filtering shower head and so many other famous TikTok products.
But when I saw a clitoral suction toy going viral on TikTok…
Ya – I gave in.
As someone who enjoys a lot of other clit suction toys, I had to know if the hype was real – time to investigate!
The Rose Vibrator, or “The Rose” for short, went viral a few months ago. Tiktokers are going wild for this toy. A TikToker, @angelbbond1 said “They said it was gonna be soundproof, but even if it was, you weren’t going to be soundproof!” @og_priscilaz said she broke up with her boyfriend after using it.
There’s even a song going around that says, “Baby, it’s the rose for me, the rose for me. You see me out here squirtin freely.”
So obviously this toy started flying off the racks. Adult stores like PeepShowToys and even Amazon couldn’t get their hands on them quick enough. (By the way, it’s not a good idea to buy sex toys through Amazon – there’s a high risk of getting a knockoff and at worst you can end up with toys that aren’t body-safe.)
I was sooo excited to try this Rose sex toy out after seeing all the hype around it, but as someone who has tried a lot of these clit suckers, I wondered if this little rose vibrator would compare to other more expensive luxury toys I’ve got.
With a price of only $40, I was a little skeptical about the Inya Rose.
I thought maybe these TikTokers had just never heard of clitoral suction toys before. I remember fangirling over my first clit suction toy before I tried other higher end toys.
But I was still curious and open minded.
After spending some time with the Rose toy, it may not be replacing my fav toys – the Womanizer Premium (review here) and the Womanizer Duo – but there’s actually quite a few more expensive toys I’d pass on in favor of the Inya Rose.
My Experience with the Rose Vibrator
Let’s get into this Rose vibrator review!
My first impression of the Inya Rose was: wow this is so cute. Like, by far the cutest toy I own. I don’t even feel the need to put it away in a drawer when I am not using it because it looks so cute on my nightstand.
Side note: If hiding this toy from parents or guests is a concern for you, I truly think this is a great toy for you. For a few days, my partner thought the toy was actually another essential oil diffuser or some kind of decoration or ring holder. So, even if you accidentally leave it on the bathroom counter after cleaning it, anyone who doesn’t know what it is will probably think it’s just something you use in your beauty routine or just decor.
It’s about the size of a tennis ball, and made of body safe silicone. If you’ve read any of our other articles, you know I am a sucker (pun intended) for these soft silicone toys. Compared to other plastic toys, I think the silicone toys feel soooo nice in my hand.
I immediately loved the design and the feel of it, so now I gotta take it for a spin.
The Inya Rose has three speeds and seven pulsing patterns.
I held down the (only) button and WOW.
It’s not a particularly quiet toy and it is definitely NOT weak. I was pretty shocked by how intense it started out.
And if you think the first level is intense, hold on. The toy jumps to each level. It LEAPS.
So yeah. User @_queenk_95 was right. The Tiktoker called the toy “mad disrespectful” for not giving her enough time to find a video to watch. “It took me 30 seconds,” they said.
Same girl. Same.
It was over too quick actually. And my head was spinning a bit. Definitely no slow journey to orgasm with the Inya Rose.
If you normally have difficulty orgasming this may be a worthwhile toy to try.
While most toys have a removable tip, the Rose vibrator is all one piece. You would think this would make cleaning it easier, but I actually found that cleaning this toy is a bit of a hassle. The rose petals are cute. But they are pretty annoying to clean. You really have to get in between each petal to fully clean it.
But a few extra seconds is not a deal breaker for me. Especially not for a toy this cute and powerful.
Inya Rose Intensity and Vibrations
This Rose toy’s intensity is its greatest trait and its greatest flaw.
The Rose starts out very intense. The lowest speed on the Inya Rose vibrator is similar to the We-Vibe Melt’s 8th intensity (out of 10).
I’d say it’s lowest level is comparable to the 5th level of the Womanizer Premium. The second level is similar to the 8th level of the Womanizer Premium. And the highest level is about the same as the 10th level of the Womanizer Premium.
So the intensity range isn’t super wide and there is no starting out slow.
So if you prefer slowly working your way up to those higher intensities, then this toy probably is not one that you will use very often. I find myself reaching for this toy when I’m in the mood for a lot of power and looking for a quick, intense orgasm.
But when I’m in the mood to spend some long slow loving time on myself, I reach for a toy with a larger intensity range, like the Womanizer Premium so I can build to orgasm more gradually. Or a toy with a nice, wide opening like the Lelo Sila (review here) which spreads the stimulation out over a greater area.
You can build nice and slowly with these toys.
If you’re someone who skips the lower levels and heads straight for the higher intensities, then I would highly recommend this toy. Or if you haven’t found a toy that gets super intense in a price range that works for you, give the Rose sex toy a go.
It’s a great toy for intense pulsating, at a really affordable price.
Seriously, for intensity-cravers I don’t know if you can beat the rose vibrator’s power at it’s low price point.
One downside to the Rose sex toy for me is that with only one button, you can’t quickly drop back down to a lower level, as you could with a toy with both + and – buttons.
The one button is used to cycle through the three intensities and the 7 patterns.
Now, the patterns actually make the Rose vibrator pretty unique for a clitoral suction toy. And I definitely found the patterns really enjoyable. Most clit suction / air pulse toys only offer constant speeds.
The other popular clitoral suction toy company that uses vibration patterns is Lelo, but their toys are all over $100. If you want to play around with suction patterns and are on a budget, then the Inya Rose is a great toy for you.
Another unique enjoyable feature of the Inya Rose vibrator is that it is – well as the name implies – also a vibrator! The Rose sex toy vibrates while pulsing. The vibrations are not too intense – certainly not the extreme power of a wand vibrator. But they are noticeable and do add to the experience in my opinion. The rose petals are close enough to the opening that if you are moving the toy around, the petals add a nice vibrating sensation around the clitoris.
Now, I’m sure you’ve also seen some TikTokers claim that this toy is not as strong as people are saying it is. It’s important to remember that not all Rose vibrators are the same. I always caution people to make sure they are getting their sex toys from a reliable sex toy vendor and avoid buying through Amazon.
Others have said the Sohimi Rose vibrator is not powerful, but you better believe the NS Novelties Inya Rose is strong as hell.
Rose Sex Toy Stimulation Quality
The quality of the Inya Rose vibrator honestly surprised me.
People use the term “thuddy” to describe higher quality pulsations that travel deeper into the internal clitoral network, while I call shallow (lower quality) pulsations more “airy” and surface-level.
High quality air pulse toys like the Womanizer Premium and even some fairly budget friendly toys like Womanizer Starlet 2 (review here), have thuddy pulses.
The Rose is surprisingly thuddy for the price. The Rose’s vibrations definitely help. Although it doesn’t feel quite as thuddy as the Womanizer Premium or Starlet 2, it’s very thuddy for its $40 price point.
For a similar price, the Satisfyer Pro 2 (another well-loved budget air pulse toy) simply does not feel as intense or as thuddy as the Rose to me. Although the Pro 2 does have a wider intensity range and those + and – buttons.
But I haven’t found another toy as inexpensive as the Inya Rose with pulsations of this quality.
Comfort and Ease of Use
I mentioned earlier that the Rose is made of soft silicone, and feels soooo nice in my hand. The round shape makes it really easy to hold in place and move around without breaking the seal around your clit.
I find I enjoy sort of grinding on the Rose a bit by moving it in circular motion instead of keeping it still. If this is your first clitoral suction toy, don’t be afraid to play around with it and find what feels nice for you.
It’s also small enough and easy to hold that it is a great toy to use partnered with penetration – a notoriously difficult feat for clit suction toys.
I’ve found it easier to use during sex than my larger toys like the Womanizer Premium. Plus the vibrations make it so that you don’t have to keep a perfect seal the entire time to get really great stimulation.
If you enjoy G-spot stimulation and don’t want to invest in a rabbit style toy like the Womanizer Duo (review), just use this toy with your favorite dildo or during partnered play.
This toy is easily one of my favorites to use during partnered play.
It’s so easy to hold in place in almost any position. I prefer it to other clit suction toys with handles.
My partner also said it was the most he had ever felt the contracting of the muscles in my pelvic floor.
So it’s a win-win.
Verdict: How Does the Rose Sex Toys Feel
If you prefer the slower speeds of other suction toys, or if you’re not sure you would like the intensity of the Rose vibrator, I would consider looking at other budget toys that start less intense like the Starlet 2 or the Satisfyer Pro 2.
But if you like intense clitoral stimulation and are shopping on a budget, the Rose sex toy is a great option. It’s super intense – especially for a toy in its price range – and surprisingly has pretty high-quality, thuddy pulses.
Plus the vibrations and patterns make it a pretty uniquely stimulating experience. They definitely separate the Rose sex toy from other clit suction toys that only offer steady pulses (no patterns) without vibrations.
The size and shape of the Rose makes it so easy to use during partnered and solo time. Not to mention it is absolutely adorable.
Noise
The Rose sex toy is not the quietest, especially compared to other luxury toys with slower speeds.
If you have never tried a clitoral suction toy, you might be shocked by the noise. It’s pretty powerful, so it’s going to be louder.
However, I was surprised to find out that my partner could just barely hear the highest speed from the other room WITH THE DOOR OPEN and no other background sounds. He mentioned that he could barely hear it until the toy broke the seal – then it was louder. So it sounds loud when you are holding it in your hand, but the sound does not travel too well in use.
Again, for the price, I don’t think this would be a deal breaker.
If you live with other people, you’ll probably want to put some music or a fan on in your room.
Cost: A Lot of Intensity at a Low Price
The price of the Rose is pretty hard to beat. Most quality clirotal suction toys on the market range from $80 to $200. For reference, the “budget option” I recommend most is the Womanizer Starlet 2, which is usually around $80.
The strength and quality of the Inya Rose vibrator’s pulsations is easily comparable to some Womanizer and Lelo products that are well over $100. The thuddiness of the rose beats the airy Satisfyer Pro 2. It’s also hard to find a clitoral suction toy with vibration patterns at this price.
But with any inexpensive product, there are downsides. The $40 price means you only get three speeds that start out breaking the speed limit (it’s all intense from start to finish) and a slightly more difficult toy to clean.
For a bit more, you can get the Lelo Sona 2, which gives you those + and – buttons, and a wider intensity range, and a fully waterproof toy while still having unique patterns. It is a bummer to me that the Rose is “splashproof” instead of waterproof.
A lot of people wonder if you can use the rose toy in the bath. But it’s not recommended that it be fully submerged since it’s just splashproof.
The low price also means there is only one option of silicone tip size, while many other luxury toys (all of the Womanizer toys) come with a removable head in a different size.
But all in all, this toy packs a ton of intensity, high quality pulses, and vibrations in a cute package at a very affordable price.
Who should get the Rose and who should look elsewhere?
I think the Inya Rose vibrator is a great toy if you:
- Enjoy intense clitoral stimulation – this toy is all gas, no brakes.
- Want high quality, deep pulses while shopping on a budget
- Want vibrations paired with suction for a unique experience over a lot of other clit suction toys
- Are intrigued by a clit suction toy with patterns and don’t want to dish out a lot of money for a Lelo toy
- Are looking for a clit suction toy that’s easy to use during partnered sex
There are better alternatives to the Rose if you:
- Enjoy slower speeds/ dislike very intense clitoral stimulation
- Want to go forward and back through patterns/intensities (the Rose’s one button cycles through)
- Want a large intensity range
- Want a fully waterproof toy so you can use it in the bath
How to Use the Rose Sex Toy
First things first, don’t forget to fully charge your Rose vibrator. We’ve all had those times where we get so close to orgasm and our toy dies. Avoid this disappointment by charging before use.
Get yourself a good water-based lubricant. These toys really do need lubricant to get a good seal.
Spread those lips and place the tip over your clit to create a dome. You can also spend some time moving the toy around your vulva and find what feels nice to you. Many people enjoy using the toy around the clitoris instead of directly on it. Especially since the Inya Rose also vibrates it’s a little less important to keep it exactly over your clit.
Others use it on their nipples too! There are no rules.
Play around with the different speeds and vibration patterns. Confession: I never paid attention to the vibration patterns with other vibrators in the past, but I absolutely love the patterns on the Rose. See what works for you!
Add a dildo or some fingers or a partner or two! I found this toy to be a great addition to partnered play – better than many of my other clit suction toys.
I found it easy (and very enjoyable) to use the toy in spooning and face down doggy positions.
Lastly, make sure to clean the Inya Rose well.
Where to Buy the Rose Sex Toy
Places like Amazon and Aliexpress are notorious for dropshipped products. In a world where sex toys are still unregulated, this can lead to some issues. First, there are a ton of different Rose toys being sold on Amazon from different manufacturers with varying qualities – you’re quite likely to get a poorly made toy from people trying to cash in on the hype of the Rose vibrator.
A bigger issue is that not all sex toy materials are created equally – some sex toys are actually made from materials which are not body-safe. See my post here on sex toy material safety and how to clean sex toys for more on that. When buying on Amazon, you’re much more likely to get a sex toy that’s not body-safe.
I recommend buying through trusted sex toy shops like PeepShowToys – I love them because they only carry body-safe products. No need to check – if it’s on PeepShowToys, it’s body-safe.
PeepShowToys Shop
Inya Rose Vibrator
You can find the Rose vibrator at PeepShowToys – a trusted retailer which only carries body-safe sex toys.
The Inya Rose toy is made by NS Novelties – a reputable sex toy manufacturer. I have several of their products and they’re all high quality.
PeepShowToys carries the Inya Rose, but they sell out quickly since NS Novelties themselves are having trouble keeping up with production demands for the Rose toy. If they’re out of stock, continue to check back.
Rose Vibrator Alternatives
The Rose takes the cake for being the cutest clitoral suction toy. The next cutest might be the Satisfyer Penguin.
But there are some shortcomings to the Rose.
The biggest flaw of the Rose is the lack of slower speeds for those who like to slowly build to climax and those who simply don’t like the intensity of those faster speeds. The Starlet 2 is another small toy that has a bit of a wider intensity range. It only has 4 speeds, but the Starlet 2 starts out significantly less intense than the Rose, and still gives those high quality Womanizer pulses.
If you think you may need lower intensities on a budget, start with the Starlet 2 or Satisfyer Pro 2.
For an intense upgrade, the Lelo Sona 2 is another toy that offers patterns and + and – buttons (so you can reverse if you find your toys a bit too intense). The Sona 2 has a bit wider intensity range and the pulsations go even DEEPER into the internal clitoral network. But it’s still mostly intense, so make sure you enjoy very focused clit stimulation – it wouldn’t be my first clit suction toy.
If you’re willing to invest in a luxury toy, I will forever recommend the Womanizer Premium, though it is a very different toy than the Rose. If you love the Rose and want a better quality toy, you can’t beat the Premium. The Premium comes with 12 speeds, Smart Silence (the pulses pause when it is not in contact with skin), and an Autopilot function that takes control of the speeds. It has a huge range of intensities and the highest quality pulses I’ve experienced.
The Womanizer Duo is everything the Premium is plus a vibrating internal arm. Again, at least for me these two toys cannot be beat.
Overall Thoughts
The Inya Rose vibrator is a toy that offers a lot on a small budget. But like any budget-friendly toy trade-offs are made somewhere – with the Inya Rose the trade-off is made by dropping off the low intensity levels.
The three intensity speeds of the Rose vibrator are VERY intense, so beware. But if you’re all about intense clitoral stimulation, then you will not be disappointed.
