So, you’ve successfully narrowed your search to the Lovense Lush 3 and the We-Vibe Jive!
These two egg vibrators seem to have a lot in common. (And it’s true – they do share many similarities.)
But while these remote control vibrators may look alike, I’ve found the Lush and Jive provide surprisingly different experiences.
This Lovense Lush vs We-Vibe Jive comparison will give you my findings and recommendations based on each toy’s comfort, app quality, connectivity, vibration feel, noise level, and battery life.
So you can choose the best G-spot vibrator for you!
Lush 3 vs Jive: Comfort and Fullness
One of the most noticeable differences between the Jive and the Lush is how the internal egg feels inside you.
The We-Vibe Jive is slimmer and more comfortable. But the Lovense Lush provides more of a stretch and better G-spot pressure.
As you can see, the Lush 3 has a wider diameter (1.5 inches max) than the Jive (1.25 inches max). It may not sound like much, but that extra width means the Lush 3 takes a bit more work to get in, and the pressure is more noticeable when walking around or wearing it out and about.
As someone who prefers slimmer toys, I find moving around with the We-Vibe Jive is easier. The Jive is small enough that a lot of movement doesn’t cause it to press more on my G-spot than I like.
So I enjoy the We-Vibe Jive for public play because I can wear it comfortably for hours.
But this is really a personal preference.
For my ladies who like feeling full and want that G-spot pressure – you will probably prefer that extra girth of the Lush 3!
Both the Lovense Lush 3 and the We-Vibe Jive have very form-fitting antennas. This is a huge comfort bonus for both toys.
Their antennas stay tight along your body. They don’t jostle around and bump against your clit uncomfortably. The Jive and Lush 3 antennas are both more comfortable than other egg vibes like the OhMiBod Esca 2 and the older Lovense Lush 2. I compare the Lush 2 vs Lush 3 here.
I also want to mention that neither toy provides clit stimulation. The external part is just an antenna. If you prefer clit stimulation over G-spot stimulation, check out a panty vibrator like the Lovense Ferri (review here).
Bottom Line: Lush 3 vs Jive Comfort
If you value comfort more than feeling full, you’ll probably prefer the We-Vibe Jive’s slim, comfy size. If you’d rather feel a bit of a stretch and more G-spot pressure, you’ll like the Lovense Lush 3’s bigger egg.
Both antennas are very comfortable and better than other egg vibrators!
Lush 3 vs Jive: App Connectivity
To make this brief – the Lush 3 has better connectivity than the Jive.
This applies in several ways:
- It’s easier to pair the Lush 3 to the app
- The Lush disconnects less often than the We-Vibe Jive if you lock your phone or let it sit through a period of inactivity
- The Bluetooth stays connected for a greater distance when separating the vibrator from the phone.
- Long-distance control is more stable with the Lovense Remote app than the We-Connect app
The Lush pairs instantly with the Lovense Remote app. And almost always on my first attempt.
The We-Vibe app takes some searching before it finds the Jive. And sometimes it takes several attempts before it successfully pairs.
Completely closing out of the app and re-opening, or removing, then re-adding the Jive in your Bluetooth settings will fix this. But that’s just something I never have to do with the Lush.
The Lush also rarely disconnects during use. And if it does, as soon as I re-open the app, it re-pairs automatically.
When the Jive disconnects, (which can occur often if you let the app sit for a while) it does sometimes re-pair automatically. But about a third of the time, I have to close out of the app, re-open it, and may need to try several times before it successfully reconnects.
The Lovense Lush can also hold its Bluetooth connection from farther away than the We-Vibe Jive. I had my partner control my toys outside to test the distance he could be before the vibrators disconnected from the app.
On average, the Jive disconnected at around 40 feet between the toy and the phone. While the Lush remained connected from 130 feet away on average.
Lovense’s connectivity is also better during long-distance control through Wifi or cell data (from anywhere in the world). Giving long-distance control of your Lush to a partner is quick and easy.
Once you get connected with your partner, We-Vibe’s long-distance experience is fairly good. But, initially connecting with a partner on the We-Connect app can be difficult. Sometimes the invites don’t seem to go through.
If long distance control is a huge priority for you, I’d definitely recommend the Lovense Lush 3 over the We-Vibe Jive.
I hope that We-Vibe improves their connectivity, because I really like how the We-Vibe Jive feels. I still often take it with me over the Lush because I love the Jive’s vibes and comfort – but the disconnections can be frustrating.
If you value a smoother experience, Lovense’s reliable connectivity will be better for you. Especially if you plan to play regularly with a long-distance partner.
Bottom Line: Lush 3 vs Jive Connectivity
The Lush 3 has much more reliable connectivity than the Jive! So the Lush will be especially attractive for those hoping to use this toy for long-distance play.
Lush 3 vs Jive: App Features
Whether you plan to use your new toy with a long-distance partner, at home alone, or discreetly out in public, having a good app is important.
You want something that’s easy to use, and also has the control style you’re looking for.
We-Vibe and Lovense’s app take different approaches. The We-Connect app provides a good set of pre-designed patterns that you can select from and easily adjust. Whereas Lovense’s app is better for creating your own patterns and taking complete control of your vibes.
Each style fits different people better.
So starting off with your main screen, you can see the difference between the Lovense Lush’s screen and the We-Vibe Jive’s below.
Both apps are pretty easy to navigate. Personally, I find the Lovense app to be a bit more intuitive, but this also might be a bit of personal preference. I don’t have any huge beef with the We-Vibe setup, I just sometimes have to click around a bit more to find what I want.
Both toys have preset patterns listed out. We-Vibe has more built-in patterns – ten to be exact. And Lovense has four.
However, Lovense has tons of awesome patterns that other people have made and shared. You have access to them under the “Discover” mode.
For real – thousands. And you can save any that you love into your available presets!
Whatever pattern you play in the Lovense App can be played at 5 different speeds, but the intensity level is locked in. With We-Vibe, when you play a pattern, you cannot change the speed, but you can increase or decrease the intensity by dragging up or down on the screen.
Both toys also have a “design your own pattern” feature, but Lovense’s is much better.
In Lovense’s App you can move your finger along your screen to easily create your own vibration pattern right in the moment. Click “Loop” to make your pattern repeat. Or click “Float” to quickly set the Lush vibrating at a constant power level.
The We-Vibe app allows you to create your own patterns too. But you can’t feel the pattern as you create it like you do in Lovense’s app. You have to blindly create it ahead of time and hope it’s good.
So it’s really just a shot in the dark, and I’ve never designed a pattern that I really like with this feature.
Both the We-Vibe and Lovense app let you use music or the sounds around you to control the vibrations. I like this feature in both apps. Although We-Vibe allows you to have a little more control by letting you choose whether your toy is vibing along to the bass, mid-range, or higher sounds.
Both the Lovense Lush 3 and We-Vibe Jive also allow you to connect with a long-distance partner.
Here are some long-distance features both Lovense and We-Vibe apps share:
- Sending photos
- Voice call
- Video calls
- Sharing control of your toy (and sharing simultaneous control if you both have toys)
- The ability to see the online/offline status of your partner
- The ability to minimize or maximize your video chat window
Some key differences:
- The Lovense Lush allows you to save multiple partners at a time, while the We-Vibe Jive only allows you to have one partner
- Lovense allows you to anonymously share a one-time control link for someone to have brief control of your toy. They won’t be able to request access once the control link expires. We-Vibe’s app does not have an anonymous feature
Bottom Line: Lush 3 vs Jive App
Overall, both toys have some great features, and I could be perfectly happy with either (not considering the differences in connectivity we’ve already discussed)! If I did have to choose just one though, I think I’d prefer the Lovense app just due to its incredibly intuitive nature and more custom control options. If you do want to store multiple partners or send anonymous links, the Lovense Lush 3 is definitely the way to go!
Lush 3 vs Jive: Vibrations
Vibrations can feel very different between vibrators.
I like to break my Good-Vibes Analysis into two categories: Vibration Quality and Vibration Power.
Lush 3 vs Jive: Vibration Quality
Here’s a nice little metaphor for how vibe quality can differ.
Think about the smooth feeling of sitting in a room that’s dropping a deep base beat. That base is impactful and you feel it everywhere.
Then there’s the artist who can hit the crazy high note, and it gives you tingles.
A toy’s vibes and sound waves are not so different! Most toys either lean toward a deeper, rumbly feel (like that deep base) or a higher, buzzier feel (like that Mariah Carey high).
The Lush 3 and Jive land on different parts of this spectrum.
The Lush 3 is buzzier than the We-Vibe Jive, but is still a pretty even split between the two ends of the spectrum. On the other hand, the We-Vibe Jive is ALL RUMBLES. I feel its vibes traveling deeper through my body.
I actually prefer a good mix of buzziness and rumbliness for clitoral vibrators. But for G-spot stimulation, I like my vibes to be super rumbly.
When it came to the Lush and Jive, I found the Lush’s buzzier vibrations to be good, but sometimes a little distracting. Whereas the Jive’s deep vibes hit just right for me.
But vibration tone is still a personal preference. Here’s a quick chart that might help you decide which vibe type might be for you:
Lush 3 vs Jive: Vibration Power
Now let’s chat about just how hard these vibes can hit and how low they can limbo.
The Lush 3 beats out the We-Vibe Jive in terms of raw power. It reaches a higher max level.
But since the We-Vibe Jive is so rumbly, its vibrations are really impactful. So they feel almost as strong (and in my opinion, are more enjoyable).
If you’re someone who needs or prefers soft levels, the We-Vibe Jive offers more levels in the low end of the power spectrum. So you can start with a more gradual build. Or fall back to softer, teasy levels if you start to feel overstimulated.
Bottom Line: Lush 3 vs Jive Vibrations
The Lush 3 has very strong vibrations which are great for power-seekers who prefer a mix of buzziness and rumbliness! While the Jive’s vibrations don’t get quite as strong as the Lush, I find their especially rumbly quality pacts just as much impact. Those who prefer a rumbly feel or want more room for a slow-build would do best to choose the Jive.
Lush 3 vs Jive: Noise Level
Both these egg vibrators are quiet enough to use in most places. And since they’re internal toys, your body helps dampen the sound better than external toys like panty vibrators.
While the Lush 3 is very quiet, if you’re really concerned about it – the We-Vibe Jive is even quieter!
I test all my toys out in different locations with my partner and he lets me know when or if he can start to hear the toy. Both toys were 100% silent in a bar or brewery, and a quiet cafe at all power levels.
But the We-Vibe Jive was completely inaudible even in the same room of our quiet house! Whereas my partner could hear the Lush 3 on the mid and upper levels seated the same distance from me.
If you’ll be in quieter locations with the Lush, you’ll have to be more cautious when there are lulls in ambient noise.
If you want an extra level of discreetness-insurance: the Jive is the quietest egg vibrator I’ve tried.
Again, you can get away with using the Lush 3 in most places, but the Jive will be safe at all power levels just about anywhere.
Bottom Line: Lush 3 vs Jive Noise Level
These are not too different in noise level, but the Jive is even quieter than the Lush. If you are nervous about sound already, or want to use your toy in really quiet locations, the We-Vibe Jive will be the better pick for you!
Lush 3 vs Jive: Battery Life
These toys both have magnetic charging ports – always nice because they’re extra waterproof.
The We-Vibe Jive lasts about 1.5-2 hours when you’re playing at medium to high levels the whole time. I found that to be a pretty satisfying battery life personally.
But the Lush 3 definitely beats it out by lasting for 3-5 hours on medium to high powers! If you like long sessions, the Lush has one of the longest-lasting batteries I’ve found.
Bottom Line: Lush 3 vs Jive Battery Life
If you want 3+ hours, the Lush can give that to you! If 1.5-2 hours is satisfactory, then the We-Vibe Jive’s will be just fine.
Lush 3 vs Jive: Cost
These two toys cost just about the same wherever you find them. So choose whichever fits your needs best.

- Prefer exceptionally deep and rumbly vibrations
- Value being comfortable more than you care to feel a stretch
- Want an app with a lot of preset patterns that are easy to select and adjust – don’t care as much about creating your own vibration patterns

- Want the absolute quietest wearable toy out there!
- Are satisfied with 1.5-2 hours of battery life
