I’ve had the Lovense Lush 3 and the Lovense Flexer for a while now. I wanted to share specifics for those debating between the two or wondering how they compare.
So we’re all on the same page, here’s what each toy does:
- The Lush 3 is a hands-free egg vibrator that stimulates your G-spot only.
- The Lovense Flexer is a dual-stimulation wearable with vibrating motors for your clit and G-spot. And it has a third motor that makes it flex in a come hither motion intended to feel like fingering.
- Both use the same fantastic Lovense app so you, a nearby partner, or a long-distance partner can easily control your toy. Lovense is the best remote control vibrator brand.
The Lush 3 has been around longer and has gone through 3 generations to improve its design and functionality. At this point, the Lush 3 is outstanding for its intended purpose (hands-free G-spot vibrations).
On the other hand, the Lovense Flexer is a new and unique toy. This first design does not work well in my experience. Its a worse option than Lovense’s other dual-stimulation wearable, the Lovense Dolce. You can compare the Lovense Flexer vs Dolce here. But I’m hopeful that Lovense will improve the Flexer’s design in future generations.
Let’s dig into the details and see how the Lovense Lush 3 and Flexer compare.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Overall Stimulation
The Lovense Lush 3 and Lovense Flexer provide different types of stimulation, but the Lush generally stimulates better.
The Lush 3 is an egg vibrator that slides into your vagina and sits pressed up and vibrating on your G-spot. The external piece is purely an antenna and does not provide any clitoral stimulation.
The Flexer is a dual-stimulation wearable. It has a vibrating clit and G-spot arm. And a third motor makes it flex in a “come hither” motion. This is designed to feel like fingering and provide movement and pressure against your G-spot.
Unfortunately, the Flexer’s clit arm moves more than the G-spot arm. So it doesn’t feel like fingering since the G-spot arm hardly moves. And because the external arm moves back and forth so much, it does not stay in contact with my clit. So the clit stimulation is poor. Overall, the Flexer’s stimulation is disappointing.
In contrast, the Lush 3’s vibrations hit your G-spot as intended. So even though it doesn’t stimulate in as many ways as the Flexer, the Lush’s stimulation quality is much better. Or if you care a lot about hands-free movement, the Lovense Vulse is a thrusting egg vibrator that’s also much better than the Flexer.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Vibrations
The Lovense Lush 3 also has stronger vibrations than the Lovense Flexer.
The Lush’s G-spot motor reaches a 10 out of 10 vibration strength. The Flexer’s clit motor is only 60% as powerful as the Lush 3. And the Flexer’s G-spot motor is just 20% as strong. And since the Flexer shifts out of position easily, the stimulation you’ll actually feel is even less.
The Flexer’s vibrations are also extremely buzzy, whereas the Lush has a nice neutral feel.
The Lush is the winner if you’re looking for strong, impactful vibrations. It’s the strongest egg vibrator that I own. Only large handheld vibrators can achieve a higher strength.
If you also need gentler warm-up levels, the Lush has these too! The minimum vibration strength is 3 out of 10. So you don’t have to worry about starting with a jolt. And you can gradually increase power using the Lovense app.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Comfort
The Lovense Lush 3 is much more comfortable than the Lovense Flexer.
Both toys have a reasonably-sized bulb that stretches me a bit. They both make me feel “full,” so you’ve got to enjoy a bit of a stretch with either toy. But the full internal feeling is the only aspect of the Lush that may require getting used to. The antenna lies comfortably along your body and doesn’t jostle around, even while walking.
The Flexer’s moving arm pinches my clit and pubic bone uncomfortably. This toy would likely be enjoyable if the G-spot arm moved, but the clit arm stayed put. Unfortunately, the clit arm is very narrow and doesn’t anchor the toy into place, so the internal arm can’t apply much G-spot pressure.
The only way I can get the Flexer to be somewhat comfortable is if I grip the base and hold it tightly so that only the internal arm moves. But this is difficult, and at that point, you might as well use an ordinary handheld G-spot vibrator to maneuver the toy.
If you’re looking for a comfortable experience, the Lush 3 performs much better in this area.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Secure Fit
The Lovense Lush 3 fits securely, but the Lovense Flexer slips out of me.
The Flexer’s moving arm causes the toy to wiggle free. It’s unlikely you’ll be able to wear it around.
The Lush stays exactly where I put it. Since this one just vibrates instead of moving, it never inches its way out. The bulbous shape helps it to stay in, even if I’m walking around. I have to tug very firmly to pull the Lush back out. So this is a much better option, especially if you’re looking for something to wear outside the bedroom.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Noise
The Lovense Lush 3 is much quieter than the Lovense Flexer.
The Lush 3 has lower noise decibels than the Flexer when I measure them in open air. And that noise is muffled even more once the Lush is inserted.
The Flexer has noticeable and very high-pitched vibrations. The sound of the flexing motion especially stands out. Whereas the low, consistent hum of a purely vibrating toy like the Lush can seamlessly blend into the background.
If you’re looking for a discreet toy, the Lovense Lush 3 is a much better option.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Battery Life
The Lovense Lush 3 has a longer battery life than the Lovense Flexer. I tested both by charging them fully and then running them at their maximum power until they died. The Lush 3 lasted 135 minutes, and the Flexer lasted 92.
The hour and a half is long enough for the Flexer since it’s best used in the bedroom. But the 2+ hours of the Lush 3 is important if you want a partner to control you as you go about your day.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer App: Close Range Control
The Lovense Lush 3 and Lovense Flexer use the same great Lovense app, so they tie in this area.
The Lovense app is my favorite because it provides detailed but intuitive control options. And the connectivity is the best of any brand.
Using the “Remote” screen, you can draw out the exact vibration pattern you want. Raise the on-screen dot to increase vibration strength or movement speed, and lower it to decrease. The Flexer has one dot which controls the clit and G-spot motor together. And the second dot controls the flexing motion.
You can use “Loop” to quickly draw a pattern and put it on repeat. Or use “Float” to set the power or flexing speed to a constant setting.
The “Patterns” section allows you to select from preset patterns and adjust their speed.
You can also explore patterns other Lovense users created and shared in the “Discover” section. You can save any you like to your “Patterns” library.
“Music” makes your Lovense toy vibrate to songs saved on your phone. (Lovense used to allow you to connect with Spotify until Spotify disabled third-party support in 2022).
You can also control your toy with the sounds around you using the “Sound” feature.
Or set an alarm for your toy to begin vibrating/moving at a certain time.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer App: Long Distance
The Lovense Lush 3 and Lovense Flexer both have great long distance features. There’s no difference since they use the same app.
Connecting with a partner is quick and easy – just send them an invitation or request control. Once connected, you can send them texts, photos, and patterns in the app. Or you can video chat in the Lovense app while you control each others’ toys.
Your long-distance partner has the same control screen that you have in ordinary Bluetooth control. It’s the same panel with the Loop and Float functions. So they easily design their own patterns or set the vibration power / flexing speed to a constant level.
Depending on your preferred view, you can maximize or minimize the video feed or control panel during your video call. You can also turn off the mic or video feed, depending on your comfort level.
The Lovense app allows you to adjust each partner’s settings. You can make it so they have to receive your approval to take control of your toy or make it so that they automatically gain access when they want. You can also block a contact.
The Lovense app makes it very easy for partners to connect from anywhere in the world. And if your partner also has a Lovense toy, you can control each other’s simultaneously.
Lovense Lush 3 vs Flexer Connectivity
The Lovense Lush 3 and Lovense Flexer each have excellent connectivity with the Lovense app.
Pairing is very quick and easy, and once I’m connected, the toy and app stay paired reliably. Troubleshooting can really take you out of the mood, so Lovense’s reliable connection is something I value about their products.
I can open other apps or let my phone sit dormant for long periods without experiencing a disconnect. If they do disconnect when I separate the phone and toy by too great a distance, they typically re-pair automatically once I’m back in range.
Bluetooth pairing can be spotty with some toys, but the Lovense brand has consistently executed this well. So, either the Lush or Flexer is a great choice for connectivity.

The Lovense Flexer and Lush 3 are both IPX7 waterproof. So you can completely submerge them in water. This makes cleaning very easy, not to mention you could bring them in the tub with you!

The Lovense Lush 3 and Lovense Flexer are both coated in silky silicone. This body-safe material makes it easy to slide in with a bit of water-based lube.

The Lovense Lush 3 is a better wearable vibrator than the Lovense Flexer.
Although the Lovense Flexer is dual-stimulation and has a unique motion, the overall stimulation is poor and even uncomfortable. In contrast, while the Lush 3 only vibrates on your G-spot, it does so very well.
The Lovense Flexer is also loud, uncomfortable, and slips out easily, making it a poor choice to wear around. But the Lush 3 is discreet, stays in place, and is easy to wear.
If you are debating between these two, the Lush 3 is definitely the better choice. Even if you are hoping for a dual stimulator, it would be better to get the Lush and pair it with your favorite hand-held clitoral vibrator. Or combine it with the Lovense Ferri for hands-free dual-stimulation.
