Our Verdict

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet is a mid-budget bullet vibrator with flexible rabbit ears at the tip. The ears are intended to hug your clit, offering unique stimulation. Unfortunately, the vibrations hardly travel through the ears, so the effect is minimal. They also take some meticulous placement to be comfortable.

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet’s vibrations range from gentle to moderately strong but nothing too intense. It’s also less rumbly than Je Joue’s other bullet vibrators. It’s quiet and has good controls, but I found the rabbit ears underwhelming. If you want to try something interesting, I enjoyed the Je Joue Amour’s flutter tip much more! There are also plenty of traditional bullets I enjoy more – compare options here.

Check Prices:

Pros

  • Mild to moderate strength for people who prefer softer stimulation.
  • Some rumbly vibrations on the lower power levels.
  • Very quiet vibrations

Cons

  • There are no intense power levels
  • The vibrations hardly travel through the rabbit ears, so their stimulation is minimal
  • The rabbit ears flex too easily, so it's hard to apply pressure. And they can be difficult to comfortably position - especially during sex.

Table of Contents

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet with other bullet and mini vibrators in background

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet has a unique tip with flexible rabbit ears designed to straddle and stimulate your clit. It has 5 intensity levels and 6 patterns (7 if you include the constant setting). It’s covered in smooth, body-safe silicone and is IPX7 waterproof, so you can submerge it in water while cleaning. It uses a standard USB charging cable, and it’s made from all vegan products.

Compare Bullet & Mini Vibrators

You can filter this table by products’ performance and price using our comparison table tool here.

This is one of several bullets in Je Joue’s lineup, which also includes the Je Joue Classic Bullet, the Je Joue G-spot Bullet, and the Je Joue Amour, which has a heart-shaped fluttering tip.

This is my least favorite of Je Joue’s bullet vibrators – the rabbit ears are underwhelming, and the vibrations are less rumbly than Je Joue’s other bullets. I found the Je Joue Amour’s fluttering stimulation much more rewarding. And the Je Joue Classic and G-spot Bullet both have great traditional vibrations.

For even more rumbliness, consider the We-Vibe Tango X. Or for more power, the Lovense Ambi is one of my favorites. You can see all our recommendations for the best bullet and mini vibrators here.

Vibrations: Power And Range

What is it:

How wide the range is between the highest and lowest power levels, and whether it has enough power levels that steps between settings are comfortable.

When does it matter:

A broad power range with many intensity levels is always more versatile. You can warm up with softer levels when your body isn’t ready for intense vibrations. But when you want more strength, you can turn it up high. A broad power range is also more likely to include settings at your ideal strength.

Power vs Frequency Graph:

What is it:

A graph of each bullet and mini vibrator’s power vs frequency across all of its power levels.

When does it matter:

If you want a detailed look at the vibrator’s full power and frequency characteristics. This tells you how strong and how rumbly each setting feels. You can also compare two vibrators on the same graph using our graph comparison tool here.

How Strong Is Each Power? (Click to Expand Definitions)

  • Power < 2.7: Too weak for me to orgasm, but great while warming up.
  • Power between 2.7 and 6.0: Strong enough for me to orgasm, but takes some effort. Good while warming up.
  • Power between 6.0 and 9.0: I orgasm effortlessly and reliably. These are the settings I typically finish with.
  • Power ≥ 9.0: Extreme power. Way more than I need to orgasm – I rarely use these.

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet has a nice power range but only offers gentle through moderate strengths. It’s best for those who prefer mild stimulation.

The Je Joue Rabbit’s lowest setting is a 1 out of 10 vibration strength, which is very gentle and great for a warm-up. You climb comfortably through 5 power levels to its top strength of 5.4 out of 10. This is strong enough that I can orgasm with the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet, but only if I press the vibrator’s firm core to my body.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Motor Placement
The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet’s vibrations come from the core (around the location of my finger), so the ear movements feel weak

The motor is located in the bullet vibrator’s core – not in the rabbit ears. So the rabbit ears just pass along the vibrations from the main part of the bullet. As a result, stimulation from the rabbit ears feels weak. And they feel even weaker the harder you press since they cannot flutter around.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet with Stronger We-Vibe Tango X and Lovense Ambi
The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet (left) with stronger alternatives, the We-Vibe Tango X (middle) and Lovense Ambi (right)

People who prefer gentle stimulation may enjoy this bullet. If you like more power, consider a bullet like the We-Vibe Tango X, which offers rumbly vibrations, or the Lovense Ambi, which offers more neutral vibrations.

Vibrations: Frequency (Rumbliness)

Rumbliness Rating:

6.8

What is it:

How “rumbly” (low frequency) or “buzzy” (high frequency) the vibrator feels. And whether it delivers strong vibrations while remaining reasonably rumbly. Higher scores indicate a “more rumbly” (lower-frequency) bullet or mini vibrator, since the majority of people prefer rumbliness. But ultimately vibration frequency is a personal preference.

When does it matter:

If you prefer vibrations in a specific area along the rumbly-to-buzzy spectrum. Rumbly vibrations spread out more and you feel them deeper. Whereas you feel buzzy vibrations nearer to the surface and more concentrated around the point of contact. Both can feel good, and which you enjoy more is a personal preference.

When does it matter:

If you prefer vibrations in a particular part of the rumbly-to-buzzy spectrum. This provides a quick way to see whether one vibrator’s settings are generally more rumbly or buzzy than another vibrator’s. Since most people prefer rumbly toys, we give higher scores to lower-frequency (more rumbly) vibrators. But ultimately, it’s a personal preference.

Rumbliness & Power Balance:

5.6

What is it:

A measure that rewards bullet and mini vibrators that remain rumbly (low-frequency) while packing good vibration strength. In other words, a bullet vibrator that is strong, but buzzy will perform poorly in this metric. Likewise, a bullet vibrator that is rumbly, but weak will also perform poorly. Only bullet and mini vibrators with strong, rumbly vibrations will have a high rating here. Calculated using the average normalized power / normalized frequency of the vibrator’s settings, with a derating factor applied to buzzy settings.

When does it matter:

If you want a bullet or mini vibrator with a good balance of power and rumbliness.

Show All Scores (Click to See):

We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because it’s what most people prefer.

Je Joue’s bullets are generally known for being rumbly, but the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet has mediocre rumbliness. The first three settings feel deep, but the top two strengths have a “neutral” feel. The Je Joue Amour and Je Joue G-spot Bullet are certainly more rumbly.

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet (top) along with some rumblier alternatives, the Je Joue Amour (left), Je Joue G-spot Bullet (middle) and Je We-Vibe Tango X (right)

I enjoy neutral-feeling vibrations personally, so I don’t mind this about the Je Joue Rabbit, but those specifically looking for rumbliness will not be satisfied. You can find some better options at this price point, including Je Joue’s other bullets. Or the We-Vibe Tango X has exceptional rumbliness and is only a few dollars more.

Stimulation Precision

Stimulation Precision

What is it:

How focused or broad the stimulation feels compared to other mini and bullet vibrators.

When does it matter:

If you prefer stimulation focused in a small, precise area or enjoy it spread out over more of your vulva. It’s a personal preference.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Typical Tip Width Photo

Precision:

Medium

– Can be precise when using just one ear

Head or Tip Width:

1.11 inches

What is it:

The width of the vibrator’s head or tip measured at the part of the vibrator in contact with my body during normal use. For most bullet vibrators, it’s the width of the toy right before it begins to taper. For uniquely-shaped mini vibrators it’s a subjective location I determine based on my experience using the vibrator.

When does it matter:

If you enjoy broader stimulation you’ll will want a greater tip width. If you prefer precise stimulation, you’ll want a narrower tip width.

Tip Shape:

Rabbit

What is it:

The shape of the bullet or mini vibrator’s tip.

When it matters:

The tip’s shape affects how broad or precise the stimulation feels. And it affects how much you can vary the stimulation. Lipstick-shaped and tapered vibrators provide very focused stimulation when using the tip or moderate precision when using the side of the toy. Rounded heads stay in that moderate range of precision. And others can be broader.

Back to Table of Contents

Compared to other bullets, the Je Joue Rabbit’s stimulation is between focused and broad (a personal preference).

It’s about 1.11 inches from edge-to-edge of the rabbit ears, which is broader than many bullets. I use this measurement because I’ve found you feel the rabbit ears together. I expected the stimulation to feel like two distinct, focused points, but that’s not the case. Your body cannot feel that there are two separate ears.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Measurements Compared to We-Vibe Tango X Measurements
The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet (left) has medium precision. The We-Vibe Tango X (right) demonstrates more precise stimulation

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet’s traditional core is a pretty average bullet width (0.83 inches) – less precise than some famous bullets like the We-Vibe Tango X (0.69 inches).

If you use just one rabbit ear, you can limit contact to a smaller area if you’d like, but you can’t achieve firm pressure or strong vibrations doing this.

Show All Scores (Click to See):

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet is easy to use and feels pleasant to hold. The handle is a comfortable length to grip and leverage, and the vibrations don’t travel much into your hand while using it.

However, applying firm pressure with the rabbit ears is difficult. They’re very flexible, and pressing firmly makes the vibrations feel weaker. Those who like to apply pressure would do better with a traditional bullet like the Je Joue Classic.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Ears Flexibility
The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet’s ears are very flexible, so use the solid core if you prefer firm pressure

You can still achieve some pressure with the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet by pressing the rigid core against your body instead of the ears. But the ears can get in the way a bit when doing this.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Control Buttons
The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet has excellent controls

The controls are excellent – the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet has separate buttons to increase and decrease power. A third button cycles through the vibration patterns. And you can adjust the intensity of each pattern. So you can quickly and easily find your preferred setting.

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet is disappointing during sex.

You need to place the rabbit ears precisely to feel the vibrations and situate them comfortably. This can be distracting and frustrating during sex.

Due to the flexible ears, firm pressure is also difficult to achieve with this bullet. Using the firm core at the base of the ears can help, but this requires holding the toy at an angle that starts to bump against your partner’s chest when facing each other.

Curved or Angled Bullets Stay Closer to the Body
The Pillow Talk Racy (right) and Lovense Ambi (left) are some of my favorite bullets to use during sex because of their curved/angled shape

Many bullets are easier to use during sex than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. I especially like options with a curved or angled head (like the Pillow Talk Racy and Lovense Ambi) that help the bullet fit more easily between bodies.

Cleaning

Cleaning Rating

10.0

What is it:

How easy the bullet or mini vibrator is to clean. Vibrators with an IPX6 (water-resistant) or IPX7 (waterproof) rating are super easy to clean under a running sink. For vibrators without a waterproof rating, I subjectively rate how difficult it is to clean.

Waterproof Rating:

IPX7

What is it:

The bullet or mini vibrator’s waterproof rating – IPX7, IPX6, or No Rating

When does it matter:

When you plan to use your vibrator in the shower, bath, or want simpler cleaning.

  • IPX7 (Submersible): Vibrators with this rating are “waterproof.” You can submerge them in water up to a meter deep for up to 30 minutes. So you can use them in the bath and cleaning is easy.
  • IPX6 (Water Resistant): Vibrators with this rating can resist high-pressure, heavy sprays of water, but should not be fully submerged. This means you can use them in the shower (but not submerged in a bath). You can also clean them under a sink faucet without worry.
  • No Rating: These vibrators do not have a waterproof rating. You should not use them in the shower, and you must be careful to keep water away from electronic components when cleaning them.

The Je Joue Rabbit Bullet is 100% waterproof (IPX7), which makes it extremely easy to clean. You can fully submerge it in soapy water and scrub it without worrying about water damage.

General Design and Specs

Size and Weight

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Vibrator Length Measurement with Calipers Photo

Length:

5.2 inches

What is it:

How long the bullet or mini vibrator is, measured from the base to the tip.

When does it matter:

In general, longer mini and bullet vibrators are easier to hold, maneuver, and leverage. These types of vibrators are smaller than most, so some additional length can provide a more comfortable grip.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Typical Tip Width Photo

Head or Tip Width:

1.11 inches

What is it:

The width of the vibrator’s head or tip measured at the part of the vibrator in contact with my body during normal use. For most bullet vibrators, it’s the width of the toy right before it begins to taper. For uniquely-shaped mini vibrators it’s a subjective location I determine based on my experience using the vibrator.

When does it matter:

If you enjoy broader stimulation you’ll will want a greater tip width. If you prefer precise stimulation, you’ll want a narrower tip width.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Weight Measured on a Scale Photo

Weight:

1.7 ounces

What is it:

How heavy the bullet vibrator or mini vibrator is, measured with a digital scale.

When does it matter:

The weight of a bullet or mini vibrator is not that important, because they’re all relatively light (around 0.6 to 5.0 ounces). They’re not heavy like wand vibrators which can weigh up to 25 ounces and can be difficult to maneuver. A slightly heavier bullet or mini vibrator can feel sturdier, more durable, and higher quality.

Design Features

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Vibrator Shape Photo

Vibrator Shape:

Straight

What is it:

The general shape of the mini or bullet vibrator.

When it matters:

Most bullet vibrators have a basic, straight design. Angled bullet vibrators can be easier to leverage and apply pressure. An angled shape can also help a bullet vibrator fit more easily between bodies during sex. We use the word “palm” to refer to mini vibrators designed to fit in the palm of your hand. Palm vibrators generally provide broader stimulation than bullet vibrators.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Tip Shape Photo

Head or Tip Shape:

Rabbit

Head or Tip Firmness

Firm

What is it:

Whether the vibrator’s tip is firm or plush.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet Rigidity and Flexibility Photo

Flexibility:

Rigid bullet, flexible ears

What is it:

How flexible or rigid the mini or bullet vibrator is.

When does it matter:

It’s generally a personal preference. A slightly flexible vibrator can be more comfortable to use, especially if the vibrator is very firm. However, too much flexibility makes it harder to apply substantial pressure since the vibrator’s tip can flex away.

Materials:

Silicone

What is it:

The material of the mini or bullet vibrator’s body and handle.

When it matters:

Only non-porous materials (including ABS plastic, silicone, some metals, and some other materials) are body-safe since they can be fully sanitized. Every bullet and mini vibrator we review is made using body-safe materials. The choice between different safe materials is a personal preference. Some people enjoy how smooth ABS Plastic feels. Others find silicone feels higher-quality to them. Or the additional weight and shine of a metal vibrator can make it feel luxurious.

Review Results

To me, the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet is a little too pricey for its underwhelming performance. I would enjoy it more if the vibrations traveled better through the rabbit ears. But since they don’t, I just use this as an ordinary bullet. If rabbit-shaped clitoral vibrators are your favorite and you only need mild stimulation, you may still enjoy it.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet with Box in Background

If you’re considering the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet because of its unique stimulation, I’d get the Je Joue Amour instead. I found its fluttering tip much more fun and enjoyable! If you just need a traditional bullet vibrator, there are many better options. See some alternatives below.

Compare Alternatives

Je Joue Amour

The Je Joue Amour provides better unique stimulation than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. The Je Joue Rabbit’s flexible rabbit ears can be difficult to place in a stimulating way, but the Amour’s broad, fluttering tip blankets the whole vulva and is much easier to use. It also provides more variety. You can rest it flat along your vulva for broad stimulation or use the edge for intense, focused flicking.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet and Je Joue Amour

When used as a traditional bullet vibrator, the Je Joue Amour is more rumbly than the Je Joue Rabbit. The rabbit ears were also somewhat in the way when using the Rabbit as a normal bullet. But the Amour’s thin silicone flutter tip did not interfere when using the vibrator as a typical bullet. They cost the same, and if you’re looking for a unique spin on a bullet that provides more variety, I highly recommend the Amour.

Lovense Ambi

The Lovense Ambi is better than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet, especially if you prefer more power. The Ambi outperforms the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet in nearly every aspect we tested.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet and Lovense Ambi

The Ambi has a broader power range and ends with about 50% more intensity than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. Despite its greater power, the Lovense Ambi is quieter than the Je Joue Rabbit.

Because of its angled, rigid head, applying pressure with the Lovense Ambi is much easier. And it fits more easily between bodies during sex. The Lovense Ambi is cheaper than the Je Joue Rabbit and is one of my favorite bullet vibrators.

We-Vibe Tango X

The We-Vibe Tango X is generally a better bullet vibrator than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. Each brand is known for having rumbly vibrations, but the We-Vibe Tango X is much more rumbly than the Je Joue Rabbit. So if you were considering the Je Joue bullet for its deep vibrations, the Tango X is better.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet with We-Vibe Tango X

The We-Vibe Tango X is also about 44% more powerful than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. They each use the same excellent control system with separate buttons to increase power, decrease power, and rotate through patterns. The Tango X also has a longer battery life.

The Tango X is a bit louder and doesn’t provide “unique” stimulation like the Je Joue Rabbit’s ears are intended to. But I found the Je Joue’s rabbit ears underwhelming anyway.

Je Joue Classic Bullet

The traditional-shaped Je Joue Classic Bullet is generally better than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. The only benefit the Rabbit vibrator has over the Classic is the unique stimulation from its rabbit ears. However, the vibrations hardly travel through the ears, so the stimulation is underwhelming.

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet and Je Joue Classic Bullet

The Je Joue Classic is better in many ways. It has a broader power range with about 44% more strength, is more rumbly, and is much easier to use. With its traditional shape, applying pressure is very easy. Whereas the Rabbit Bullet’s ears flex out of the way, and its vibrations are dampened with pressure.

The Je Joue Classic also comes with a finger strap that makes gripping it more comfortable.

The classic is easier to achieve firm pressure with because it doesn’t have that flexible rabbit-shaped tip. The Je Joue Classic is about the same price and is a better option for most people.

Je Joue G-spot Bullet

Je Joue Rabbit Bullet and Je Joue G-spot Bullet

The Je Joue G-spot Bullet is better overall than the Je Joue Rabbit Bullet. The Je Joue G-spot Bullet has the more rumbly vibrations you expect from a Je Joue vibrator. Its angled head also makes it easier to use for clitoral stimulation alone or during sex – it fits easily between bodies. Whereas the Je Joue Rabbit’s ears flex too much, vibrate too little, and get in the way.

You can also use the Je Joue G-spot Bullet for vaginal stimulation. But its short handle makes it subpar for this use. I prefer the Pillow Talk Racy for G-spot stimulation.
