Le Wand Baton vs VeDO Bam Side-By-Side Comparison
Performance Ratings
Our Verdict
The Le Wand Baton is simultaneously my most expensive bullet vibrator and one of my weakest. The power is so soft that I cannot even orgasm using the highest power. Even those who enjoy gentle vibrations will likely want more strength than this.
At such a high price tag, the poor vibration performance overshadows any positives from the quality build, comfortable grip, and ease of use. If the Le Wand Baton is in your budget, there are many better bullet and mini vibrators available to you.
The We-Vibe Touch X and We-Vibe Tango X are two high-quality alternatives that still provide those softer warm-up levels but reach a much stronger top level.
Or, if you’re considering the Le Wand Baton because you prefer mild stimulation, the Lelo Mia 2 might be worth a try. It has a ton of vibration levels in the gentle range, but it has a touch more strength on high that enables me to orgasm.
The VeDO Bam is a decent bullet vibrator, and I enjoy it. But some cheaper options perform better overall.
The VeDO Bam is one of the most powerful bullet vibrators I’ve tested, but it has no gentle or mid-intensity settings. And many people will need those warmup levels that it’s missing. The Blush Limited Addiction provides a broader power range and performs better overall than the VeDO Bam – at a lower price.
Besides its lack of gentler settings, the VeDO Bam performs reasonably well. It’s easy to leverage and maneuver, the medium-width tapered tip allows you to vary the surface area in contact for more precise or broader stimulation, and its silicone is smooth and comfy. But it doesn’t exceed the performance of the cheaper Blush bullet. So in this price range, I recommend it instead to most people.

Vibrations: Power And Range
The power level on the Le Wand Baton is incredibly weak. With 6 power levels beginning at a whispering 0.3 out of 10 vibration strength, the Baton maxes out at only 2.5 out of 10 – too little for me to orgasm with. Most people are going to need something stronger.
Even if you’re worried about overstimulation, you can find options with several soft warm-up levels and strong upper levels at this price. The Lovense Ambi has multiple power levels in the low range because you can make minute adjustments in the app to get your perfect level. And it reaches an 8 out of 10 on high, so you have a wide range to work with.
Or if you’d like to stick to bullets with on-toy buttons only, the Je Joue Classic, We-Vibe Tango X, and We-Vibe Touch X each have low, gentle powers and reach 7.75 out of 10 on high.
And finally, if you want a high concentration of low to medium-strength settings, the Lelo Mia 2 has 12 total power levels. They start at the very softest of any of my bullets at a 0.1 out of 10, and reach a 3.25 out of 10 on high. It’s still mild for those who get overstimulated by intensity, but at least I can orgasm with the top strength of the Mia. Though, it does take a little effort.
The VeDO Bam is a powerful bullet with no low or medium power levels. If you prefer intensity, it’s enjoyable! But its lowest of 3 settings is a 7.9 out of 10 for strength, so it can be jarring if you don’t start by warming up with a gentler bullet first.
It reaches a 9.5 out of 10 on high, one of the most powerful I’ve tested. However, the Bam’s power and range underperform compared to cheaper options. The Blush Limited Addiction begins softer (5 out of 10) than the VeDO Bam and finishes stronger (10 out of 10) at a cheaper price. On the other hand, if you prefer milder stimulation, try the Pillow Talk Flirty instead – a bullet with its power range focused around gentler settings.
Vibrations: Frequency (Rumbliness)
We rate bullets with rumbly vibrations higher than those with buzzy vibrations because it’s what most people want.
The Le Wand Baton has subpar rumbliness. Its lower settings are rumbly, and the higher ones feel neutral. But since they’re all so weak, the vibrations have little impact.
The We-Vibe Touch X and Je Joue Classic hit that same frequency range of moderately rumbly to neutral but have much greater strength. This is a sweet spot for me, and I really enjoy the feeling of these vibrations.
If you’re looking for the most rumbly option, the We-Vibe Tango X has 8 power levels, and every single one is extremely rumbly.
We rate rumbly vibrations higher than buzzy ones because it’s what most people want. But this is a personal preference, so if you enjoy buzzy vibes, pay more attention to the frequency chart than the rating.
The VeDO Bam’s vibrations have a neutral feeling on its lowest two settings, and its highest setting is moderately buzzy. I personally enjoy the first two powers because I like neutral vibrations in a bullet. They provide a bit of zing while still traveling reasonably deep. But it would be nice if the VeDO Bam also had some rumbly low levels like the Blush Limited Addiction has.
You’ll need to increase your budget if you care a lot about having deep, rumbly vibrations. Most bullet vibrators in the VeDO Bam’s price range have decent, but not excellent, rumbliness. The Pillow Talk Racy is a bit more expensive, and two-thirds of its power range is rumbly.
G-Spot Use
The Le Wand Baton comes with a textured silicone attachment intended to provide clitoral stimulation while inserting the bullet’s first inch internally for vaginal stimulation. So in theory, you can use the Baton for dual-stimulation (simultaneous clit and internal stimulation).
This is a fun idea, but it provides little stimulation in actual use. The Baton’s vibration power is already weak, and the clitoral attachment dampens the vibrations even more – I hardly feel them.
Since the bullet is straight (no upward curve), leveraging it for G-spot stimulation is also very hard. So it vibrates around the vaginal entrance – not on your G-spot. It’s best to think of the Baton as an ordinary clitoral bullet and not count on dual-stimulation.
If you care about G-spot stimulation, the Pillow Talk Racy is a much better G-spot bullet vibrator.
Stimulation Precision
The stimulation of the Baton is quite precise. With other bullets like the Je Joue Classic, I can cover more surface area if I use the side of the bullet. But the Baton is very slim at only 0.7 inches wide, so the stimulation is focused.
If you like precise stimulation, the We-Vibe Tango X or Je Joue Classic are better bullet vibrators that provide focused stimulation with their lipstick-shaped and tapered tips. And you can also vary the precision by using their slightly wider sides.
You can get a mix of focused and broad stimulation from the VeDO Bam. It’s wider than many bullet vibrators, so you can get somewhat broad stimulation and pressure using the side of the bullet. But the tip has a slight taper, so you can use the end for more precise stimulation. As a result, it’s pretty versatile.
Comfort & Ease of Use
The Le Wand Baton is all 10s for comfort and ease of use. Since the vibrations are so gentle, I never feel them in my hand. The shape and size are easy to hold and leverage for good pressure. And it has a slightly flexible, comfy tip.
But if the incredibly low strength is a deal-breaker for you (as it is for me), I have better recommendations.
The We-Vibe Tango X is also exceptionally comfortable, and the Je Joue Classic is a close second. They are easy to maneuver and get pressure exactly where you want. The only thing I noticed about the Je Joue Classic is that the button clicks are so soft, and it’s hard to tell whether or not you’ve pressed the buttons – other than noticing the vibe change. But if you value excellent comfort but still want stimulating vibrations, either is a great choice.
The VeDO Bam is a comfortable and easy-to-use bullet vibrator. It’s a great length for leveraging, and since the structure is very rigid, you can get excellent pressure.
The VeDO Bam transfers some slight vibrations into your hand. But it will only bother people especially sensitive to this.
The button to control the vibration intensity and patterns is on the bottom. You have to adjust your grip slightly during use to press the button. You must also cycle through all powers and patterns to get to the one you want. It starts on the highest strength and cycles down to lower powers as you keep pressing. And since there are 3 power levels and 7 vibration patterns, there’s a lot to tap through.
I prefer bullets that let me power up or back down to find my ideal setting. That way, if I miss the one I want, I don’t have to cycle back through everything again. The Blush Limited Addiction is a budget-friendly option with a multi-button system.
Use During Sex
The Le Wand Baton is a nice size to maneuver, leverage, and easily fit into tight spaces during sex. It doesn’t interfere with either partner’s body. But since the power is so weak, I find it more distracting during sex than enjoyable. With the added stimulation of penetration, the vibrations are hardly even noticeable.
Many stronger options, including the We-Vibe Tango X, the Je Joue Classic, and the Lovense Ambi also do a great job of getting into precise spots easily and comfortably. They have excellent leverage for satisfying pressure during sex. And their power levels provide enough clitoral stimulation to enhance sex.
The VeDO Bam is a great size and shape for getting into tight spaces and leveraging easily during sex.
The vibrations travel into the handle a little bit, which does not bother me much during solo use but can be distracting during sex for some. It’s all about how I hold the bullet, and I find it less distracting in the spooning position than in missionary.
I don’t notice handle vibrations as much with the Blush Limited Addiction, Pillow Talk Flirty, or Pillow Talk Racy. The Racy even has a convenient inward curve, useful for leveraging the bullet without bumping against your partner. And since they’re about the same price and are better overall, I’d recommend one of these instead of the VeDO Bam if you want something great during sex.
Noise
The Le Wand Baton is exceptionally quiet, mainly due to its poor power. I can hardly even hear it while using it on its top setting. And certainly, no housemates will hear you using it.
But there are plenty of stronger options that are just as discreet. For those worried about roommates overhearing: The We-Vibe Touch X, Lovense Ambi, and Je Joue Classic are inaudible on all power levels from the other side of a closed bedroom door.
All 3 of these have low decibel levels too. And as someone who can be easily annoyed by noise, they sound perfectly acceptable to me. The Touch X especially is whisper-quiet and deeper sounding, so I hardly notice it.
The VeDO Bam is inaudible behind a closed door on all intensity levels – even with its exceptional power. So it’s a safe option if you are worried about housemates overhearing.
The vibrations have a buzzy pitch, which isn’t as pleasant as deeper-sounding bullets, but they don’t bother me because they’re relatively quiet. If you are very noise-sensitive, there are quieter, deeper-sounding bullet and mini vibrators like the We-Vibe Touch X or Je Joue Classic.
Battery Life
The Le Wand Baton is rechargeable and lasts for about 75 minutes on high power. This battery life is decent, but many bullets with much more power last just as long or longer.
The VeDO Bam is rechargeable and lasted 78 minutes, continuously vibrating on high power during our testing. This is impressive, considering the bullet’s high strength.
You can find other high-powered options that last over an hour but are typically more expensive. So this is a great budget-friendly option if you care about a long runtime.
Build Quality
The Le Wand Baton feels and looks luxurious. It’s made of smooth silicone with a sleek metallic accent and feels very sturdy. It has quality buttons and a convenient built-in USB charging port.
Unfortunately, the luxury feel can’t make up for the poor vibrations. Both the We-Vibe Touch X and Lovense Ambi have a similarly luxurious, all-over silicone design and are much better overall.
The VeDO Bam has a good build quality. It has a nice weight that makes it feel solid and well-made. You charge the bullet by screwing off a plastic cap, which makes it feel a little cheaper. But the silicone is smooth and comfortable. It’s not quite as luxurious as some models, but it looks good, and I’ve had no issues with it.
Cleaning
The Le Wand Baton is IPX6 water-resistant, so cleaning it is easy. You can clean it under a running faucet with soap and water, but you should not completely submerge it.
The VeDO Bam is completely waterproof, so it’s very easy to clean. It has an IPX7 rating which means you can safely submerge it up to a meter deep for up to half an hour. So simply clean it with soap and water.
